actually it's an interesting video - BUT : per favore, do *never* ever again put comments on the irrational and absurd panICdemic in one of your videos, it's absolutely *destroying* the atmo and good vibes ! IF you want to publish your personal opinion about the panICdemic, just put it in a *separate* video - besides that, I've been liking your vids quite a while now, they're of great help :)

Interesting video tutorial. I picked up the Behringer Poly D Clone of the MiniMoog a few weeks ago. Spent an entire day experimenting with all the knobs trying to figure out how the device worked. In the beginning no matter what I did, I got no sound from he device. Then I just got clicking sounds from each key. Thought the device was faulty. Then bang! The device started to produce many different wonderful sounds as I was discovering what each knob can do. This video has helped put into perspective all the things I was doing. Hopefully now I can learn to love this synth as much as you do. I msy need to watch this video a few more times to understand what you were talking about as my skill with this device improves.

Hey, GREAT VIDEO. On the Chips sound, I think the 4th is fixed pitch between two oscillators (and some noise blended in), with the LFO pulsing being applied to the Filter cutoff. But still VERY likely the Mini D. Bravo!

Great demo on the basics of analog synthesis and the Mini Moog is an ultimate classic. I have a software version that I use with my set up, as well as an OB-X software synth. The cool thing about the software Mini Moog (Minimogue) is that it has an arpeggiator, gate sequencer and some other functions that the original model D doesn't have on board. Although nothing beats the real thing. Back in the eighties I had an actual Cat (by Octave) hardware unit that I used primarily to learn analog synthesis. I also have several videos performing with my set up. For me it's mostly a hobby but I enjoy playing as much as possible.

Great Video, played along using Moark plug in. Really helps having the all controls explained with demos of each one.
Would also be great to see a similar video on the Juno 106.....
    Keep up the good work

I am currenlty rewatching you video and I have my Novation Bass station 2 to test all your tips in real time. I am very happy because I can reproduce 80% of what the Moog is doing :)

When you were talking about the glide function , the first thing that came to mind is the synth solo on Heart's 'Magic Man'.
