I like a lot of the Phillip Catherine solo work also for not too much money. I have to check some of these also. I did not know about most of them. I have the Curt Crest and like quite a bit. I love this series. Always a pleasure when I see you have posted a new video. Thanks, Charles
Kim Plainfield taught at Drummers Collective in NYC and ultimately at Berklee Music in Boston before his untimely passing. I spent time with Kim as he lived close to me outside of the city. He was a very cool to me. I enjoyed jousting with him on equipment. He loved Sonor & I love Gretsch. And we both held our brands up for ‘sword fights.’ Next, How mind blowing is Weckls solo over Kennedy and Connors lilting chords on Titan from Step It? Jeez Louise, Weckl was off the charts on that one!
Thanx for the recommendations. Ablution is great and so is Schsffers first two. I know you know already but in case you dont i need to recommend both pop workshop records and also Hörselmat that Schaffer did early. Have a great day. /Jonas, Sweden
Wow , great to see that In Search of a Dream Alphonso album , I picked it up recently and love it. Wonder if you also got into the Alphonso Johnson solo albums? Great channel.
love Schaffer! all I have is the Katharsis LP, it's quite good, must find more of his stuff. dig that First Light also. great stuff man as always. peace, Chris.
I need to revisit Gazuese as it didnt grab me at first. My buddy just told me about that Ken Ramm record. Great Video. We need more prog/ fusion in the community. Did u get a chancev to see the re-formation of Soft Machine and Brand X. Saw SM 1x and Brand X 2x. Now Percy has left ...Boo
Gazeuse is great! I know this may sound like sacrilege but I actually like the versions of Gong that are less dominated by Daevid Allen, including the 70's ones that feature him but with less zaniness. also.. I didn't know Brand X had reunited!
Love Gong also! Thanks once again for your knowledge and direction sir.

Howdy!!!!! Found you through Anthony Ferraro and subbed. I’m in the VC as well!
Glad to see you back after a while - some great LPs - most I have never heard of as usual. Gotta check out the Abba guy for sure. Thanks.
Now it's my turn to thank you.
Holdsworth is my favorite guitar player but I didn't know about First Light. So it's time to start searching.
It’s worth checking out for sure… some of it is kinda ‘lite’ for my tastes, but overall it’s a worthy slab!!

Thanks!!! I love Al Johnson’s solo LPs!!! Need to feature those in a future episode.
I have to get those Bill Connors records! Didn't know he had a fusion phase. His ecm albums are excellent.

Yeah oddly I got into Janne Schaffer via the US press of Katharsis... but now I don’t have it. IRONY!!!
I have almost all of these. Great selections.
Thanks! I’ll be getting into more obscure stuff in the next few videos.
Hip Elegy checks all the boxes for me. Anything Hino and Catherine I am in.
Cool channel!!! Awesome recommendations

I read about the recent implosion of Brand X... bad management plus COVID-19 did them in, it seems.

Sehr gut, dankeschön.
