I would like to give Wello ago. Have a yack with shark as well. Is that out on the reef in front of King towards Green, or to the right towards the channel. I don’t have a sounder. Great setup you have .
Out to the right from the ramp at the drop off. You don’t need a sounder but i like to use mine to make sure im at least over some weed or reef. When you go into the channel its about 6-7m deep and the bottom is largely featureless and i mostly just catch pinkies and grinners. The bigger fish i catch are usually in 1.2-1.5m of water and around thick weed.

Yeah thats not the first. I think a sling shot would be pretty handy to attempt some headshots with those size 8 sinkers.
