  • As I was attempting to troubleshoot constant limp mode on my Jetta I thought I might as well make a video of the whole ordeal. Turns out the Turbo Actuator Solenoid N75 Valve was defective. This video will hopefully give you some information about ho to troubleshoot this kind of problem.

    The video is so spectacular that it would be understandable even without sound. Accordingly, I can check the part. Thanks!

    That looks like me trying to get that N75 valve electrical connector to come out !
    I can never get them to come off as they should !

    This is a great video. Easy to follow and understand. I have same car and was wondering if you can refer me to some other channels with same car as us

      Did you scan your car by any chance? Getting the code would certainly help.... check engine light is on?

    Hey, I have a question when I plug the vacuum pump tester into the N 75 it has the same issue with yours when you bought the new one what should I do?

      But I did notice when I pumped the actuator, it decreases when I stop pumping

      What should i do too? My car generates vacuum
      But i think it leaks at hose betwen pump and brakes
      I have changet all pipes try tones of schemes
      But no boost
      No pressure
      What to do bro

    • @dronesandmore1977
      @dronesandmore1977  8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      If the pressure increases (vacuum decreases) when you stop pumping, you may have a leak in your vacuum circuit.

    HELLO, POLO 1.2 TDI CFWA ENGINE I GET ERROR P 0234 OF THE VEHICLE ACTIVATOR IS WORKING. I ONLY GET FAILURE IF I DRIVE LONG HOURS, IT DOESN'T FAIL IN THE CITY, SHOULD I REPLACE N75?

    • @dronesandmore1977
      @dronesandmore1977  ปีที่แล้ว

      It's hard to tell without running further diagnosis and tests. You may have a vacuum leak somewhere too, that's a possibility.

    so what happened? did you replace the valve?

    • @dronesandmore1977
      @dronesandmore1977  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      no, it seems to be working well after all. I did replace the vacuum lines however and returned the one I bought back to Amazon. Problem seemed solved at that point! :)

    My actuator doesn't move at all when i start the engine, moves very little when pushed down with force.. maybe about 1/8th strong

    • @dronesandmore1977
      @dronesandmore1977  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That could come from several things:
      - Your turbo vanes might be stuck
      - Actuator could be stuck too
      The actuator itself is a very simple piece of equipment. It should move freely when disconnected from the turbo arm. It's held in place with a little C-clip, you can try to take the clip out (don't lose it or break it) and see if it moves freely. If it doesn't your turbo vanes might be stuck. You can try to work at the turbo vane arm by hand, it might free itself up. Are you getting the P0234 code?

      @metallicafu11 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@dronesandmore1977 I did move the actuator by itself and it was fine.. the rod only moves slightly though so i believe its the vanes. I do get full boost but it takes alot of effort to open it up, doesnt take off after 2000RPM, more like 3-3.5 grand for boost now and yes the code pops up usually

    Funny I can gun it thru all the gears with the rpms high but when I'm doing 80mph in5th hear and start uphill it will trip.

    • @dronesandmore1977
      @dronesandmore1977  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      That' happened to me too which is understandable as when going uphill, you increase the load on the engine and solicit the turbo a lot more.
