I love these atypical reviews that really highlight details no one else is talking about. I love flying the "light strike" modules and I admit to being a huge C101 fan but the MB-339 really intrigues me. At the moment though, its hard for me to justify when the other two light strike aircraft can be bought at half the price of the MB-339 during the frequent sales. Put another way, you could also buy both the Viggen and Mirage 2000C modules for the same price as the MB-339 on release. I am sure this will change and when it does I plan to add the MB-339 to my hangar.

L-39 is an underrated module. Taken together with The Kursant Campaign it can give a good general understanding of stick and rudder jet flight and combat.

I'm sure the MB-339 flight model will get tweaked. Seems to be something that takes years with any module. I was surprised to hear that it didn't have A/A missiles though.

The “no A/A missiles” thing comes from the developer, because reasons… I dunno.
The flight model ‘issue’ I had might be the more blunt nose as compared to the other planes. It seemed like the MB 339 nose drifted left or right opposite from the bank angle, like the nose had more drag below the centerline axis. It could be that the flight model reflects that and it is a good flight model, but a poor plane for precision work with rockets. That is a wild guess on my part. I wasn’t using rudder pedals, and some skilled rudder work might have made quite a difference. The point I want to make is that the C-101 and the L-39 flew in a certain way that allowed me to drop rockets predictably and the MB 339 has somthing very different going on.

It would be nice if you could add chapter notations in these. Thanks and keep flying!

I have been flying the 339 every day since launch, and I have not experienced your issue tho. Not sure whats going on here. Plane flies way faster and smoother than the other 2 trainers, with more AG options. The lack of AA missiles is because this Trainer/light CAS is not fitted. The CB variant and latest CD variant are more powerfull and with Sidewinder and Maverick capabilities, but A never used them. IFE said this is because they wanted to keep the A model as close as the real one. CD Variant also has air refuel probe and a fully glass cockpit setup. Is really a different plane.

you can try taking wing tanks off the 339 wont have the issue with the flight model. plus 25 mils and shoot at about 1500ft to 1000ft roughly around where I have the most accurate shots normally at a 15-20 degree dive these are just rough figures. My major issue with the 339 is randomly damaged or blown up.
