Hi Val. I don't know why a lot of your comments are deleted (by TH-cam?). I do actually like this art. I particularly enjoy his major arcana expansion take on things. I just don't use these cards. There is a whole world creation story around the deck that is part of the story of the cards. There are a few tarot decks like that, where a made up world is part of the story of the tarot, and I really do enjoy this aspect of it. It took us to a world that is akin to a board game. These types of cards tend to help me with creative problem solving as it helps expands the mind. Having said that, at this point, I personally would have preferred if he writes a book, as to put more emphasis in the stories, with his artwork complimenting these stories. But that's just a reflection on where I am with things. Any artist can of course do whatever they want. He clearly has some deeper ideas informing his illustrations. I am just more attracted to those ideas at this point, rather than the mere images on these cards. Anyways. Nice to see you here V!
I think that is the point 😁 The artist is more of a visual artist than he is a tarot illustrator. The deck is fun to flip through to see his take on each card more than to “use”. Thanks for watching.
Given the lack of secure storage, I can understand the desire to ensure that the names of both tarot and creator aren't lost, since they are there on every card. Very sensible, and functional. But aesthetically not so much.
I hadnt seen this one, thank you for sharing

Amazing artwork but the imagery is too 'horror' like for me .. Great video .. Thanks KSc 🏴

Really beautiful art but gosh, what on earth possessed the creator to put that awful text on the card backs. Such a shame and a deal breaker for me.
