Hey Love your video's, I hope you keep doing them, it's a very good resource to watch and learn, as well as to observe the birds and how they are reacting. thank you for taking the time to video.
Nice passage bird!👍 Congratulations and good luck this season!👍 Happy hunting and enjoy flying your new hunting companion🍂🍁 from Fellow Falconer in USA!🦅 Long live Falconry!🏞🦅✌
I created a much easier trap. Use the thin black bird netting for gardens. Suspend the netting 1-2' above the trap with 4 stakes. As the hawk or owl Flys in it hits the net, the net collapses around it is the mesh is so fine the talons and body become trapped
The trap should have an inner cage away from the outer so the hawk cannot kill the mouse or grab it as appears to have happened here. Your videos are great but this kind of thing gives us all a bad name potentially.

Awesome video... thanks...
Nice passage bird so happy the new videos are out 😁👍🏻.Did you release the last red tail?
Yes, I always release my birds after the season is over in the spring.
Do they always go that subdued when placed on their backs and hoods placed over them? So interesting
Yes once their eyes are covered
@@ACRfalconry thank you, I love birds of prey. Thanks again for the great video
Thanks for watching
Great video I am new to falconry, what city did you trap the red tail hawk?
🎉
Did you trap the mouse you used or buy one?
I bought that one
@@ACRfalconry is there a website or store you suggest for that? Thanks for the response!
Congrats on the new bird! Bringing him to the field meet if you're going?
Still not sure if I can make it but yes I will bring him if I go.

At what time of the day did you catch this bird
Around 11am

So a dho gazza trap? I wouldn't recommend it for larger birds like the red tailed hawk but yes it works well for merlins
Donde puedo conseguir una trampa de ésas
What city are you in?
💯 👍😃✊ 💯
👣
I find that starlings work much much better than rodents
Hey you still a falconer
Yes
How do a get a license im in Tennessee and I would love to do the sport I also love your videos you’re the best
I'm not sure as I'm in Ontario Canada. You should join some falconry fb groups to find someone in your area.
Baighyinh bee care
You decide on his name yet?
No yet and I'm leaning more towards a female now and I will be asking everyone to name her on my next video
Is this legal? Is it possible to catch birds of prey?
Yes. With proper licensing you can in Ontario.

what i wanna see is the part where you put that hood on the bird.
That's the easy part 🙂. Just slide the towel down off it's head and slide the hood on. I'm pretty sure it shows in a few of my videos on my channel.
