I have a W800 Cafe, so I agree, these Kawasakis make a great platform for a cafe. Lots of torque, horsepower is not the greatest indicator of a bike’s performance.
I have been watching TH-cam videos for many years and you’re the first channel I have subscribed. I really like your cafe racer series for beginner and intermediate. Looking forward to the advanced video. You have a great knowledge base and you deliver the information in a way that is understandable to people, like me, that don’t know a lot about it.
Before anything, congrats on really good channel and great work :) Small note but important one, CX500 and al of his brothers and sisters is V-twin 80 degrees with 22 degrees twisted heads to open room for legs (that specific setup 80 + 22 degrees makes that engine AMAZING) ;)
They're nice looking bikes, however I would have preferred polished Akront or Borrani rims, Im not a fan of these tractor style seats, I'ld prefer a BMW R nineT Race type seat.
Don't understand what make any of these bikes a café racer, most builds far as far away from café racers you can come ( the triumph would work) but most of the builders goes for look (nothing to do with Café racers) and put krapp tires on them so in the end it's just for posing.
That’s exactly why they are on the “intermediate list” they are a little more of a challenge to make into cafe racers, but the results are even more satisfying
@@DriversSide But he's right. For example a virago, even with a lot of work, is still a heavy cruiser with low power, that only look like cafe racer :) And japanese R4 are not base for begginers, they are just good bases for everyone
i love your "top 5 cafe racers" series. waiting for the advanced one
Glad you enjoyed it! The advanced video is in the works!
@@DriversSide still????
@@DriversSide i would love to watch it as well
Such an underrated channel. Great work mate keep going!
Thank you! I plan on making more videos soon!

Waiting for Goldwing must me coming on the Top Tier list
Only Goldwings with BMW tanks make it on the top tier list

Thank you! And thanks for watching! That’s a good point!
I have a virago and if you want a cafe style exhaust you’ll most likely have to go custom as there is almost non for sale
Very useful to know!
Moto Guzzi LeMans or V7 etc! Almost perfect other than prices
I have an NT700 deauvile I'm wondering if this has any potential for a bobber or cafe racer?
Everything has potential with the right amount of willpower! I don’t know much about those bikes so I can’t really say how much work it will take

Love your channel, but what happened with the las video?
I actually tried to record it but got busy. I'll get it out soon :)

You can make any bike into a cafe racer with enough work🏍💨
BMW R a little bit more expensive and one of the most produced bikes? In my country there like 4 for sale and are more than 7000 usd stock.
I’ve got the CX 500
Really awesome bike!!
Yamaha RD 350 and 400
No video number 3? Awww
Whats fast for a cafe bike?
asking for a friend.
100mph!
Cafe racers are ideally light weight and powerful. Most of these (bmw flat twin, cx500, w650) are heavy and underpowered.
That’s exactly why they are on the “intermediate list” they are a little more of a challenge to make into cafe racers, but the results are even more satisfying

*Patiently waits for advanced cafe racer video 😇
Coming soon! Just recorded it actually!
