I always used continental when despatch riding around the UK, unless something has gone horribly wrong they can only be even better than they were. Oh, and they were good.

The front tire was fitted to spin backward, see how on the rear the lines are going forward unlike the front. They need to take it off again and turn it as they are directional tires.

Nach 1 km hat der Reifen bereits die volle Betriebstemperatur. Ich fahre nur Conti Reifen ohne Diskussion. Die Reichweite beim Conti Road Attack 4 liegen zwischen 4.000-7.000 km. Mit dem Conti Trail Attack 3 kann man sogar 12.000 schaffen. CRA4 ist etwas schmaler als der CTA4 der bei Regenfahrten die besser Variante ist. Aber der CRA4 hat die beste Performance und kommt wohl wieder drauf. I fell in Love with Conti Tires.

I am using BT023 GT on my SR/F and I like them a lot. You can't go wrong with those Continentals though. I've been told there's no such thing as a bad tyre these days. Did you call in at the Sofia Zero branch? Your next one will probably be Istanbul? I just slackened my belt a little too, the teeth seemed to be crunching into the pullies. I liked the Allen key method of tensioning that they used in the shop; similar to doing Ducati timing belts. Toot toot. 🙂

Which ones did you get ? Road tyres ? I have a zero DS and I am thinking of replacing the current dual sport tyres with something more for the road. Did it increase the range ?
Marc, your belt is too loose! That probably is the reason, the old one only lasted 30t km. As a general roule you should be able to twist the belt in the middle between the sprockets about 1/4 turn, not more. Good luck.
You should be happy with the Continental Road Attack 4 tires - they are great street tires. BTW, how many miles did you get on the TKC70's. Looks like the front tire wore out faster than the rear. Good to see you're finally getting some support from Zero with the 2 belts they sent you. Ride safe.
But the new front tire looks like its put on the wrong way to me. Never seen a tire with a pattern like this one, mounted in that rolling direction. It looks like a tractor tire.
I was about to comment some videos ago about your tyres. That bike needs sport oriented ones, those adventure one that you had was almost a sin. xD They will wear faster but i bet that you will feel the difference, starting on how fast they get warm.

these are pretty much road tyres .. look like wet tyres from the channels on the tyre. the tyres before had knobs which would mean a little bit of offroading but was not good for roads and cornering.
IMO, Zero's belt tension guidelines are FAR too tight. There has been established evidence that running the belts that tight cause bearing failure in the motors (as of course you have experienced). I also dislike the resonance vibration and noise of the belt even when it's at the low end of 51kg (62hz). Socket degradation has also been witnessed. I run my SR/S at around 40kg and feel like the bike is overall a much more pleasant experience.
What ratio were the ones you had before, 70/30 ? I was actually contemplating putting 70/30s on my R1200GS, but given the amount of gravel and off-road I do, probably not justified.

Follow the manufacturer's recommendation on belt tension. Yes, they may seem tight, but that's the way it's done.

Great Tires have the same Conti Road Attack 4 on my Multistrada V4S. Excellent tires. Outside is a slick, so be careful when wet weather rides.

these are pretty much road tyres .. look like wet tyres from the channels on the tyre. the tyres before had knobs which would mean a little bit of offroading but was not good for roads and cornering.
Yeah before they were also very good but the new once are much smoother 👍🏼
IMO, Zero's belt tension guidelines are FAR too tight. There has been established evidence that running the belts that tight cause bearing failure in the motors (as of course you have experienced). I also dislike the resonance vibration and noise of the belt even when it's at the low end of 51kg (62hz). Socket degradation has also been witnessed. I run my SR/S at around 40kg and feel like the bike is overall a much more pleasant experience.

Will your routes ahead all be on asphalt or concrete? Going with 100% road tires may be a mistake - free or not.

What ratio were the ones you had before, 70/30 ? I was actually contemplating putting 70/30s on my R1200GS, but given the amount of gravel and off-road I do, probably not justified.
Yeah I think they were. I don’t really do Off Road and when I do I go slow anyways, it’ll be fine 🙌🏼
