its not an indian company, its still a dutch company with their technology patents and R&D happening still in netherlands. Its just that they are now manufactured in India. The Dutch company is a subsidiary of Apollo but they still count as a company from netherlands that is now owned by an Indian firm

I had Vredestein bicycle tires in the 80s, and if I remember correctly, they were also a pretty big player in car tires in the 80s and 90s. According to Wiki, they were taken over by the Indian manufacturer Apollo Tyres in 2009
The motorcycle at the beginning is a Cast Iron 4-speed Royal Enfield, with the gears on the wrong side as per the original British design ... it's been modified into a cruiser, which's a great look at what Indians were doing with their Enfields pre-2008 ... most of them have been restored back to original condition as these cast iron models are now highly sought after, hence it's fortunate that you were able to see one in that form, cheers 🍻

Tyre Grip is converging inside in front tyre. grip should spread outside while rotating. be careful in wet road while riding this allignment. water tens to collect in middle while leaving less surface grip/friction. Allign red and white stripe with the same direction in belt.

If you want adventure and stuff then now is the right time to go, monsoon gets a bit tricky at times cause of the extensive amount of rainfall in lower Himalayas however once you cross baralachala pass or shinkula pass depending on the route you take it’s a rain shadow region after that.
The hotel guy did say it was inside and kept saying it. Sadly a language barrier for you but he wasn't being difficult like some others. Plus he spoke in Hindi it seemed that isn't what Southern areas of India speak-so I was surprised but he was trying to help once he heard "EV charger."

Marc, I think that front tyre is running backwards. The grooves should disperse any water to the outside. There should be an arrow showing the direction of rotation. Great stuff keep them coming. I have winter tyres from Vredstein.
No. This is the correct way to fit it... Look it up, the two tyres should have opposing directions of grooves. The rear tyre that receives the drive should have its grooves to aid in moving forward, while the front tyre groove should help in braking.
11:58 - it’s hard to tell but those tires look directional. If so, the front and back don’t appear to match. But again, it’s hard to tell from the video. Suggest you take a quick look. 🤔🤔🤔 also at 24:18

Hay marc please check out the music scene in india Bangalore, Kolkata and shilong has the best rock music scene. You will enjoy it. But only if you know people and hangout out in the best places ( cafe/pubs etc). Oh yeah kohima (Nagaland) has them as well, lots of bands.

Yes, Zero have to change the plug to CCS 2, or make an adapter. More flexibilty charge point on the road.

MRF (Madras rubber factory) tyres are what most of indians trust. They lasts longer and provide good grip. I usually do trips of 250 kms and use MRF

Marc, I think that front tyre is running backwards. The grooves should disperse any water to the outside. There should be an arrow showing the direction of rotation. Great stuff keep them coming. I have winter tyres from Vredstein.

No. This is the correct way to fit it... Look it up, the two tyres should have opposing directions of grooves. The rear tyre that receives the drive should have its grooves to aid in moving forward, while the front tyre groove should help in braking.
11:58 - it’s hard to tell but those tires look directional. If so, the front and back don’t appear to match. But again, it’s hard to tell from the video. Suggest you take a quick look. 🤔🤔🤔 also at 24:18

Hay marc please check out the music scene in india Bangalore, Kolkata and shilong has the best rock music scene. You will enjoy it. But only if you know people and hangout out in the best places ( cafe/pubs etc). Oh yeah kohima (Nagaland) has them as well, lots of bands.
