    I hope fans of other teams realize how surreal this was as a Niners fan. I haven't seen a 49ers qb look this good in years.

      He's just learning the system, give him time. There was no need to go deep in this game. Kyle's offence is the hardest to learn, he just needs time. And our o-line isn't good enough for deep passes rn. He'd be killed if he held it any longer then he did TBH.

      Benny The 49ers got Jimmy G for just a 2nd Round pick. The Bears got punked into making their silly trade in the draft and picked Mitch with the #2 pick...looks like the 49ers got the better QB for less & fleeced the Bears. Nice!

      Start with drafting saquon barkley, he would form a hell of a combo qith jimmy, and i say trade for martavis bryant. Pittsburgh always draft and season some great wr and then get rid of them , from plaxico, to santonio. To emanuel sanders , to mime wallace. I know some of them atrnt great but when they were in pittsgurgh they seemed special. If we can add those two players alone, we will be a dangerous serious threat deep in the playoffs.

      no on Barkley. We need a solid line, we can get weapons in free agency and later in the draft like the patriots do.

    I'm only 44 seconds into this video, as well as saw his only drive in the last game. He reminds me of Tom Brady, but with some level of mobility. Him being under the guidance of Brady, as well as the tutelage of Bill, I'm happy to see the 49ers appearing to have a future. They were my grandfather's favourite team and I remember cheering for them in the superbowl with Colin, hopefully they can get there again in a few years.

    • @osaji922
      @osaji922 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, he had the ability to start in the league coming out of college. I wanted the Raiders to draft him. I remember liking his tape way more than Carr's. I didn't even like Carr's tape at all. I thought Jimmy was the best QB in the draft. To be honest, since I hate the patriots, I was upset when they drafted him because he wouldn't be able to start and he would prolong their dominance when Brady left. So glad he was traded.

  • @Navybrat64

    He looks so happy to finally get to be his own man and leader of this rookie team.. Fans here adore him and his mentor Tom Brady is a 49er fan since he grew up in Norcal. He will be taken good care of here too. Far as money goes no team has more capspace than the 49ers so he will get paid and have his weapons... He already said how much he loves it here too! 49ers future is good as gold ! DILLY FN DILLY!

    You can talk about his pocket presence, his ability to take a hit and deliver the throw, his accuracy downfield, his vision yadadada. What I am most impressed with is the lack of drops. Something that has been a huge problem for the niners all year was solved in 1 game. I dunno I think there is something special about this guy. GO NINERS!

    26 years old, learned the NFL game under Brady and only costed the 49ers a 2nd rounder! This guy is def ready to play for us for years to come and succeed! Imagine what he can do if they get him an elite WR...Luis Murphy wasn't even playing in the NFL 3 weeks ago and even he was catching tds (And causing int but hey it comes with the territory).
    all career best for all the Wrs today, it's a sure sign this team can compete really soon!

      As a Bears' enthusiast, I am curious how Mitch Trubisky would be doing in SF under Shanahan. I am open to the possibility he would have put up better stats as the Niners QB against the Bears than Garooppolo. Garoppolo did look good and I hope he is the franchise QB you have been seeking. He will probably sign for $18-22 million per season on a multiyear deal.

    • @YT-Holdings

    His throwing motion is interesting. He goes from hands down surveying the field to throw and release really fast. That must be hard to read as a defender. Also his footwork is quick staccato like, moving enough to create space away from the rush. He did well in this game. If you realize what he's working with, a team that didn't start with a lot of talent then got slammed with a lot of injuries, it's pretty impressive what he did in this game.

  • @acengo9194

    Tremendous passes, accurate, well placed, feathered when needed. Great distribution. Got eight receivers involved. Great poise under pressure. Quick release. Reads the defense well. Can stay in the pocket or extend the play by running outside. Great footwork. Unusual chemistry for such a short time. Need better options in the red zone. It can only get better. Right now the route tree looks limited. The whole team will build more confidence when they see they can win. Still need to see if he can air it out downfield. Defenses will tighten up on him if they find he can't throw the long one.

      I'm telling you this trade was a steal for y'all. I wanted the Raiders to draft him back in 2014. I don't want the narrative to be that he learned from the Brady. Yeah, he may have picked up a thing or two but this guy should have been a starter from the get go. Years from now I want the narrative to be the two best QB's in that draft were passed on and taken in the second round; Derek Carr and Jimmy Garoppolo.

  • @omy8135
    @omy8135 7 ปีที่แล้ว +12

    I held my breath a lot when he threw. He throws into really tight windows I thought he was going to get picked off a lot but then all I see is completions. Throws into Triple coverage, almost gets sacked and STILL! Completion. Since we don't need to worry about Quarterback anymore, who do you think we should draft? And what are your thoughts on the John lynch's first draft class?

    • @chasesweeneyy
      @chasesweeneyy 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I'm happy we got John and Kyle picking players now. I'm happy about ahkello witherspoon, adrian colbert, Trent taylor, Cj just needs a few years and I would be willing to bet he will be dangerous. Reuben foster should have been picked 3rd overall but solomon thomas is a big reason our run defense is much better then last year. I wonder what it would have been like if we couldn't get foster, we got lucky. Baalke would have picked a few acl's

    I knew we shouldn't have given him up for a 2nd rounder because I knew what he was capable of, but Brady has a good 3-4 years left and I think Garoppolo getting this opportunity just made the nfl better. Cleveland with the return of Josh Gordon, San Fran with now a top 10 QB (in my opinion), and the giants receivers will be healthy. No more imbalance with 3-4 teams going 1-15 or 3-13. The regular season next year will be the best in a long time.
