Is there any way to balance without a set of vacuum gauges? On my old K model, I would pull 2 plug leads off, and set the idle at 1250rpm on 1 cylinder, then repeat for the other 2. After putting all three leads back on, I'd wind the idle adjustment back equally on each carb to get idle at 1250.

Stupid question Peter, im havind trouble with my 750L cold starting, just to confirm the choke is on the on position when its down ?? Was looking at Higgsy start his newly rebuilt 550 and im sure he said he'd put the choke on when he flipped it up !!?? Thanks for any help.

    Interesting.
So all Carbs get adjusted- there’s not one that is -say- the master carb and the other 2 are adjusted to it.
Like a CBX Honda or even the T/Bs on my T595. Number 4 on the Honda is the benchmark and number 1 does the same job on the 595.
Either way, thanks for the video.
Watching something done is much more helpful than reading how to do it.
