Fabulous experience. The a/c was great, the food was wonderful and the scenery beyond belief. We went in the first class part which is well worth the extra cost. This day out is worth the trip from the UK, let alone all the other wonders of this incredible place.
The AC on this train does not work well---so don't go during the summer months. Also, get on board early: you want to be on the terminal side of the train: all you will see is rock walls on the left hand window---all the beautiful scenery is on the terminal or right hand side.
