@@CypherSukuna7 69C under load is pretty good for an old FX chip. Since you are running a 4-core old beast, you are pretty much safe up until 75-80C. These days 70C is considered 'chill' under load so I think that was AMD being extra precausious. That said, I don't think you will get any decent performance out of the 4-core FX chip in RPCS3, the architecture is too slow and these 4-cores unfortunatelly can't compete even with modern mobile 2-core / 4 threaded solutions from AMD/Intel. I mean, it's common knowledge at this point that as of now (things might improve in the future) you need to have at least a modern 6-core (preferably 12 threaded) CPU to run any game at its base 720p resolution with somewhat playable framerates (old low-clocked 6-core phenoms / xeons won't do). Modern 4-core (preferably 8 threaded) CPUs at relatively high clock speeds (over 4.0Ghz) are the bare minimum of what you'd want to have to even try getting into PS3 emulation.
This is a little late but when you get to the game patch manager click on the bottom left where it says "Download Latest Patches" in the bottom left corner
From my understanding, my i7 11600H is more powerful than the 8700, yet my game runs nowhere near as good as yours. My CPU doesn't get taxed running games

Sonic Unleashed is a very demanding game and if you've followed everything in the video, then I'm afraid this is the best you can get. You can lower the resolution, though. Try that :)
I have a Ryzen 7 32GB RAM GTX 1660 ti and the game runs like shit because RPCS3 won't let me choose the damn Vulkan option and select my graphics card. Tried to find all types of solutions on the internet, but I can't find anything. I'm finna just uninstall this shit because this doesn't make any type of damn sense to me and It's really pissing me off.
Interesting, I have a Ryzen 5 2600 16GB RAM GTX 1660 ti and I can choose vulkan to run games on RPCS3. You need to check if your graphics card supports vulkan but I don't think thats the case. Or you can reinstall the emulator
For some reason TSX instructions is greyed out for me, and I keep getting random crashes. So without this active and this website says that disabling the TSX stops the crashing, how am I getting these crashes still? Anyone have any idea? Also game just forever is at the loading screen when I go to Spagonia for access to the tornado sky shooting level.
@@EpiKerCovers Thank you very much for your replies Framewraith sorry for the late reply, I have followed everything on your tutorial but realised that there was one thing I mis-changed and that helped stop the crashing :) But the worse problem is still there which is that the Tornado Defense level just will not load, it's stuck on the loading screen. I have a feeling it might be to do with using a 'disable battle music mod' with the unleashed mod manager that is somehow causing it not to load? Or if it is just an option that needs changing. I don't know if you or anyone else has experienced this problem? I am using the EU version by the way

The biggest problem I’m having Is that it doesn’t load a stage I can get to the hub world easily and it runs smoothly on 60fps But for some reason the first stage won’t load 🫠
I'm on a Ryzen 5 2600 and that runs reasonably well, (average around 30 to 50 FPS from what I recall except on jungle joyride and eggman land) and with how much faster 5000 are than 2000 it should run rather well.

Could be because the game and emulator are placed in a slow storage space. If you have an SSD, try moving both to it

@@barrymega8766 First of all, no problem! Second, try enabling or disabling Vsync. Hopefully that'll fix the crash. Just make sure to update me here!
