Set mine up just like that, except plain flat brass washers and a drop of thread locker on threads. Quiet, functional and classic design. Thanks for the tips!

I didnt think its possible to make a 12 minutes of video about 2 screws. You opened my eyes, sir.
    Beautiful bow though.

Your demo is good as far as it goes, but you might have offered a caution about the two ways one might actually pull the inserts out of the riser by improper installation. I've seen this on a number of Bear TDs and other bows. The Bear inserts are hollow. They are not closed on one end. That means if you use a mounting screw that's too long, it can easily bottom out on the riser and actually push the insert out of the riser, usually taking some wood around the insert with it.
That might have occurred, for example, had you used the 3/4-inch mounting screws rather than the half-inch length you used. It's always best to test the screw length first by gently screwing the screw into the insert until it bottoms out in the riser. Then check the distance between the head of the screw and the riser insert. If it's less than the thickness of your mounting bracket, you're good to go. If it's more, there's a good chance you'll pull the inserts out of the riser when you try to tighten the screws.
It's also possible to pull the insert out of the riser even without bottoming out the screw, by placing a washer (such as the rubber washer you used) between the riser and mounting bracket. Normally, the insert is mounted just slightly proud of the riser. Thus, when the quiver bracket is screwed down, it hits the insert and will move no further, and it won't be possible to tighten the screw any more. However, if you put a spacer/washer between the insert and the mounting bracket, tightening the screw works to draw the insert and mounting bracket together. On the one hand, the bracket might be pulled toward the insert. On the other, the insert might be pulled toward the bracket. Probably a little of each. Regardless, because there is space between the insert and the bracket, over tightening the screws can pull the bracket out of the riser.
I point this out because I've seen so many examples of each. And, for the most part, the bow owners blame the manufacturer for a faulty product, when it's faulty installation that's the culprit.

I bought a dozen cedar arrows from you 20+ years ago and picked them up at your place in a residential neighborhood

Thanks for this video! It's perfect for anyone like me who's wanting to know more about mounting these old classic looking quivers. Now for that beautiful ultra-pricey Bear Take Down... The only thing it appears to be missing are just random blasts of cheap nasty old camo colors sprayed all over it from some nasty old dented rattle cans that have sitting around in the garage for years. Just kidding!! Great video & super nice looking bow. God bless & take care. (:

Nice job Luke. I have one of those old quivers in the garage and I might have to pick up a reproduction takedown now and some of those arrows. Next Kalamazoo expo perhaps we will see you guys there.

I did the same thing only with suede leather and just left them round. Color match was good so it looks fine. Nobody even notices it.

That was tedious; never realized there was a art to attaching a quiver with to screws...now I know.

I shoot an 8 arrow double spring arm quiver myself.
