My female cats have always had their spaying site on their side. This was definitely the snip 😜
My favorite segment is, "The Thing." I love the part when Simon's Cat faints, and the kitten continues to "talk," as though nothing happened.

Me three! When I store my Toys in my Closet I forget a lot of toys in there if I find out about them I start playing with them for 4 minutes and then I put them away. But my age right now since my comment came out in 2020 that means i’m born in 2010 and finally that means I’m 10 years old for 2020 Until May 23 2021 that’s where I turn 11 years old 😀.

Unfortunately, where I live we have 'Fireworks night,' running for months. Literally. Morning, noon, and particularly night. For example it begin three weeks ago. So even the sounds in this vid made my cat (who was lying up against me whilst I was watching this,) quickly look out the window thinking it was an actual firework. Bless her. 😔
I can relate to so many of these scenarios! Especially the one when he plays with the light. My cat did this all the time!

Try living with 5 cats. Sometimes it's the best thing ever, but sometimes they can just be downright annoying. Even so, I love them all unconditionally.
My video paused and did the spinning circles for five seconds before continuing at the fuzz part... that was the scary part for me

I used to own a cat, but for thirteen years, even after she passed away from liver cancer I will always love and appreciate cats and dogs in general. Their cat pictures, and dog pictures, make me happy.

I remember when my bf stayed over one week. He was using my shower, and my cat-- who is used to having the door open-- stuck his paw underneath and scared him... probably like the kitty-version of "Psycho" or "The Shining" lol

_'Dracula'_ just made me crack up; I simply cannot fathom how anyone could be so afraid of a little fuzzy butterfly of the night. The bats...well, ok; I'll give Simon that one. A LOT of people are afraid of bats (though I think they're cute), but since Simon's from the UK, I'm guessing that those were likely Common or Soprano Pipistrelles (since they're the most common species over there), and they're insectivorous, so it probably have eaten the moth for him.
One day a bat got in my mother's bedroom in NY, where she stayed upstairs in my house. I had no idea about bats, but I took a blanket, and on one of his/her passes from wall to wall, I threw it over it and brought it down. Then I gathered it up (much squeaking) and took it outside, where it's claws were all tangled in the fabric. But it got out, and flew away. I actually like bats. I think they do us such a favor in catching a gazillion mosquitoes every night. They probably help in controlling communicable diseases.
Unfortunately they can carry rabies.
Lynn Proctor I am not sure though on bats catching or preying on mosquitoes but I am sure that bats don’t help against communicable dse in fact they are known sources of Rabies and bat droppings in Histoplasmosis to name a few ☺️

that couch. We have a ouch like that and I am always afraid that someone will accidentally behead my cat or something because my cat will try to get under it to investigate and not everyone in my household is as mindful about having a cat as I am.
I know someone who's small dog got caught under one, they weren't beheaded but did need to see a vet. Their owner was absolutely distraught as you don't know what damage has been done. The dog was fine, but I imagine it had a bad neckache for a couple of weeks.
I had a kitten get its neck caught in a spring under one, but I got to it in time. But my husband's ferret died that way. I don't want the details, and he doesn't want to say exactly what happened. (This happened before we met.) We won't get any reclining furniture because of this.
@@Agatha1031 it's just not worth it when you have small furries around. I think in the case I know of the recliner didn't properly close which alerted them to the problem.
TSprong, it is not only pets who are in danger.....Children and toddlers have been injured or killed by suffocation after getting trapped in those recliners. The number is staggering and you can google it if you want. I don’t know why those things are still being sold, although some improvements have been made to make them safer.

Jane-I agree! I hate it that Walmart started putting their Christmas stuff on the shelves in September this year. It was early September when I went there to purchase something from the lawn and garden isle because I needed to do some outdoor cleanup. But everything was GONE, and in its place were Christmas decorations being stocked!! That is just nuts. Walmart is so greedy.
It seems as though Christmas starts earlier every year. At least, in shops anyway.

Nolan Boast have you heard about sleep paralysis? Because the weight you described feeling on top of you sounds a lot like that. My brother gets it all the time and it’s basically when your brain is asleep and awake at the same time so your still partly dreaming. It’s scary for sure and there are a lot of videos on TH-cam explaining more about that.

Don't know how many feline viewers you normally have, but my 14-lb monstercat, Gray, sat on the arm of the couch behind my shoulder (I was lying down with the laptop on my chest) and watched this whole thing from halfway through the first clip right to the end with me. He seemed totally fascinated by whatever your cats were doing, turning his head to follow them when they ran offscreen; so you have at least one feline fan!

My Maine coon girl absolutely loves fire works. Loves to watch all the sparkling lights and the noise never bothers her. My other cat thinks they are a total yawn fest lol so luck with my two lovley fur girls.

Ha ha, paying tribute to classic sci-fi/horror movies with these Simon's cat cartoons. I love the Spider one with the cat playing with the light cord, and also the one with fireworks. Heck, I'm a human and fireworks unnerve me something fierce. Those mixtures of gunpowder and colorful chemical compounds are visually pleasing; it's the sound that I can't stand, especially when they go off roughly a mile from my house and impact my ability to sleep.

The spider nightmare has happened to me before where I was surrounded by spiders coming down from the ceiling...in a porta potty while camping. I flew out the door. My worst nightmare. I also had a spider on my bed a few times too while I was getting ready to sleep at night...and been chased by a spider from the corner of the room before too. ...I HATE SPIDERS. I even had to check my robes I hang up cause one hid on the back of my robe and one was above my toilet paper roll...at night just inches above my hand in the bathroom.

Sounds a bit like the issues I have with cockroaches.
One night I was sleeping shirtless when I was suddenly woken up by a cockroach walking across my chest!
Another time I was getting dressed in the morning. I put my foot into my shoe, only to find that it was already occupied...

@@limiv5272 One of my biggest fears are the huge Texas "cockroaches". They fly, and like to drop down from the ceiling. In bed one night I was half asleep, and reached down my t-shirt neck-hole to itch what I thought was a label in the armpit of my shirt. I touched what I KNEW was a little hairy roach leg. My instincts kicked in and I grabbed down on the leg and [THANK GOD] it didn't break off as I flung the whole critter across the room, with a thump against the wall. I never saw where it went... Jumped out of bed, my clothes exploding off, and screamed like I was being murdered (which is probably what would have happened if roaches could wield machetes).

I still love Kitten vs. snake. Reminds me of my Loki before he settles down. He gets rambunctious then suddenly he’s curled up in a ball somewhere sleeping😂
@Nolan Boast Cats are great fun. I have two. One is a ginger named Wig (short for Wiggles) and the other is a fluffball named IO. He is a spoilt brat who my husband says is attached by a string to my arse (pardon language). Whenever i get up, he follows, usually because he expects to be fed every few hours including overnight (I get up a lot a night). Worse, he gets his way because I am a pushover.
I have 3 cats.
Loki (my profile pic): he’s 13 months
Buddy: he’s a big lanky tabby (furry boulder with legs, he’s 14.4lbs!) he’s 18 months
Luna: a “fancy” cat. (She’s fat 😂) she’s 7yrs and a whooping 17lbs! (But she’s a sexy girl!😊)
5:54 this happened with my cat years ago, except, my brother was sitting on the recliner and then when he closed it, the cat started screaming (yes, screaming) in pain and then my bro opened it back up and the cat ran off and hid under the bed. . .
the cat came out later and was fine, but yeah, freaked me out
