Being a cat owner and lover myself, I get such a kick out of watching Simon's Cat. He demonstrates the true nature of our feline friends truthfully! Great job!😻
I had to say goodbye to one of my cats yesterday, I'm glad videos like this exist. Edit: thank you to everyone who commented kind words, it still hurts but it warms my heart that their are still kind people in this world.
That is so true. I had a cat with IBS and he would poop places he shouldn’t, and when I had to put him down I actually missed this habit of his. Of course, I had to adopt another guy- who is totally different, but I love him and won’t deny I am grateful he uses the litter box only 🤗
All true and happened, my cat now is the only one alive from 4 siblings - she becomes 20 years end of May and at that age they are not like behaving crazy or awkward anymore - they just demand food and lots of sleep. 🐱
My Aunt thinks we have the longest living cats, she's ever seen. She lives in the country, an my Mother & I live on busy main roads in the city. Ours live to be on average 17 +. ( they are indoor/outdoor cats )
Mine, age 17, have regressed to kitten levels of demanding attention, going everywhere they're not supposed to (turning on gas on hob), stealing food, crapping everywhere other than the litter box, squawking and meowing all the time.
We have 3 kitchen gargoyles. We have heavy jugs in front of cabinets lest they be opened and pilfered. We have string going from one levered door handle over top to the other, lest they be opened and pilfered. If a pan on the stove is upside down it is clean and unlicked. There are empty boxes lying about. We call the microwave "the cat safe" where we can set food if we have to walk away for a moment. I don't know why some people think cat people are weird.😳

I love how Cat is all: "I IZ HELPNIG!" in the scene with the shelf. Regarding the stairs scene, you cannot convince me that cats don't do that deliberately!

My grandparents had a farm cat called Greata (because she used to sleep in the fire grate in the best room, the one that was only lit at Christmas). She also liked to take a nap in the warming oven of the Rayburn. It’s lovely and snuggly and warm. We used to generally leave it open to regulate the temperature of the oven and because we kept the kindling in it, occasionally it was used to revive a cold lamb. Trouble is that when grandma was cooking she’d kick the door shut to the warming oven because it was in the way. About an hour later you’d open the warming oven to find a very hot cat. We used to pop her on the wall outside until the heat shimmer disappeared. She still didn’t learn. Obviously the warmth was just too nice.
Very true! Lol. I would've bent over backwards to get my late cats approval, lol. 😂 I didn't do so much for my children as I did for my cat!! Lol. Miss him so much 😪
Fortunately, I have no stairs, so my "you shall not pass" is less of a danger to me. And I don't need to pay the food tax, because my cat just plain isn't interested in human food unless it's a piece of sliced ham, which I have so infrequently that it almost never comes up. My biggest difficulty is that everything I do, my cat wants to be involved, in the form of sitting on my lap. I spend most of my time as an artist, gamer, and reader, working around the cat in my lap!
Way too much truth in this video. Anyone who has also had to put on climbing gear to rescue a cat 40 ft up in a tree in pouring rain. stuff the cat down the front of their shirt and then climb down with a panicing cat can relate to this. (Yeah, I still have the scars, but rescuing a scared, stuck cat makes you feel good, especially when the cat is your own). I really miss my soul kitty. I should mention that cats proved the world is round. If it was flat, they would have shoved everything off the edge by now.
We had to temporarily have our cat in someone else's apartment for couple of hours. She put her cat in the bedroom while ours had the run of her place. Her cat was SO darned mad at the inconvenience that when we went to pick her up she had a panic attack & began running all over & being impossible to catch. When my husband was finally able to catch her, and wrap in a towel, she took a swipe at his face and hooked a nail in the skin just below his eye. The skin there is very thin & she left him with a slightly black eye that was noticable. Try explaining to your strata council why you had a black eye - in a building where residents weren't allowed pets - and 'No my wife did not punch me in the face....".
I fed a cat stranded on the roof at work for 10 months. I carried 16 ft of poles in my car to lift the food up. I also pumped water up with a pump sprayer and length of tubing. I threw chicken legs onto the roof for her. I drove down on weekends and holidays so she'd get fed. Then I built a bridge to the closest tree and put the food on it to get her acclimated. I almost got fired and was playing cat and mouse with the management. Finally she used the bridge and came down. After a couple more months of feeding her in the parking lot I was able to grab her and throw her in my car window and slide a board shut. She wailed and wailed but sleeps on my pillow now.
What I love most about this series is all the soft sounds that make it so relateable.. I lost my Rascal last August and couldn't be there when he went. I miss my boy so much 💔

Dear Simon's Cat makers, I absolutely loved this one, especially the new artwork on the walls and the contents in the box (special appearance by Simon's toy robot 🤖 😀 )in the section with the stairs❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I'm cracking up cuz it's so so real. My 4 year old Sofie used to wake me up at 3 am meowing for food, scratching the pillow case...i thought it was so annoying and wud get mad at her. Well I had to put her down 2 wks ago. She was diagnosed with oral cancer. Now I'm waiting for that meow at 3 am and I won't hear it.
Our two juveniles climbed the old oak tree and appeared stuck by their meows. Hubby got the ladder, put it up and they did the same as Simons cat did and got down by themselves. Roll on a few months and they had no problems climbing the ladder to get on the house roof where they lorded it over us. One climbed down the ladder backwards, rear leg waving around to find the rung while he gazed at the scenery. The other went to the back of the house and used the tool shed roof the get down. Cats!!

Laughed so hard I could barely watch ))))) 100% TRUE. Of all the cats that have blessed us through our lives, and died... the pain takes many years to settle. ALL Cats go to Heaven. We can still pamper them while they are here. ONe wandered off for a whole year and returned. He must have had a good family that time away.
With my 2 cats on the stairs, one of them MUST go up and down the stairs in front of me as well... there might be danger up or down there and they have to be sure I'll be "safe"... the other one waits till I'm about 2/3 of the way up or down then come tearing down the stairs at warp speed past me... or... does that 1 step down or up in front of me slower than slow... so irritating... and then gets mad if I go around her. But yeah... the one never fails to run in front of me at the stairs as they have to make sure I won't encounter anything "dangerous" at the top or bottom of the stairs... she also guards me every time I go to the bathroom... standing watch at the doorway in case anything/anyone might try to come in... Not sure what she'd do if someone did... once I heard my son at the bottom of the stairs going out to check the mail and she completely freaked out standing up and staring down the stairs and then at me with big wide eyes in a panic thinking OMG someone is coming!!!! It was funny. But I see my cats in all these... love them!
Poor Simon. His dinner looked so delicious ! And he only got one bite. He has to learn not to pause when there is food on his fork and two hungry kitties on the alert next to him. Such a clever ploy by the kitties putting the clothes pin on the kitten's head.
Or the time my cat tore a little hole in the lining fabric on the underside of the boxspring mattress. Climbed in and couldn’t get out because it was kinda trampoline-y. I could barely hear the piteous meows over my own hysterical laughter.
As students we ate at the coffee table (tiny apartment). Got distracted by tv, in the corner of my eye I see a paw from under the table reaching for my steak, hooking it and WHOOSH cat and steak disappeared under the couch 😂

Sweet thought!
Ours think that if we sit to eat, they should get some treats too. At first we tried to resist. They win most of the time.
@malktrem 😂 Don't they though? Ours can't wait for us to go to bed because that's when they get a before bed treat.

This is a perfect way to.end my day, smiling at Simon's Cats Dad.....😊
..
Never had a cat, never will. But I watch cat videos almost exclusively. Good enough for me.
Oh, but you are missing out on the fun you will have
I noticed he's walking around in his socks. Yep gotta be able to feel those tails.
But I see my cats in all these... love them!
Cats own their humans😂
Dogs have "owners". Cats have "staff". 😊
Какие они прекрасные,без них жизнь серая, обожаю этих хвостатиков!!!!!
I watched these in year 2 before we went to swimming lessons. I had so much fun watching these ❤
Kitten cracks me up, "meep" "meep" "meep"
A man's home is his castle. And in his castle the CAT is king/queen.😊
Poor Simon. His dinner looked so delicious ! And he only got one bite. He has to learn not to pause when there is food on his fork and two hungry kitties on the alert next to him. Such a clever ploy by the kitties putting the clothes pin on the kitten's head.
At my home with my cats it's exactly like in this video. I can't stop lauphing...😂❤
Its been so long since ive seen one of these im happy it showed up
Or the time my cat tore a little hole in the lining fabric on the underside of the boxspring mattress. Climbed in and couldn’t get out because it was kinda trampoline-y.
I could barely hear the piteous meows over my own hysterical laughter.
Love the pictures on the wall😂
As students we ate at the coffee table (tiny apartment). Got distracted by tv, in the corner of my eye I see a paw from under the table reaching for my steak, hooking it and WHOOSH cat and steak disappeared under the couch 😂
SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ADORABLE 😂❤
Immer wieder schön 😂
Cats are by nature the most talented creatures to always do right opposite than you want them to.
