The '93-'94 Finals was so good that it ripped a hole in the space-time fabric, and "Future $20 Bills" (1998+) suddenly appeared on the table. Solid content, though. I enjoyed.
@@blainethemono19 i have a mono blue deck, but with merfolks, lord of the atlantis, psionic blast, prodigal sorcerer, mahamoti djim, clones, serendibs (revised) and 4 energy flux main deck XD
Amazing quality. So fast paced and fun to watch. Best watch yet. Really sad that goblins forfeited the 1st game. I thought they were gunna win. Just draw a bolt and a goblin grenade. You had 3 turns. Definitely should've sideboarded out the ball lightning because of first strike.
When you see the Iwatch and started to feel scammed. But then when the sentiment slams your emotions seeing the oldies getting smashed on the table....
Well at that moment the guy only had one card left in his hand. He would be reloading his hand with lord knows what (mind twist, more hymms) and the goblin king pumps up all his other creatures so maybe somehow he can have a chance. He was planning to wheel the next hand I believe once he got it out but the hippie took it on the guess just in time unfortunately
Actually, it only pumped 1 Goblin the other was an Orc. It was because he'd already played a land. His only route to an unlikely win was if that hippie missed and hit the balll lightning. I think he played it correctly, he needed blockers more than he needed to restock his opponents hand.
Who cares, the mistake was done way earlier when he didn’t play the wheel and got stuck on 2 mana after the strip mine. At the time of the specter, a wheel would instantly lose the game.
I thought he was too aggressive putting the bolts to the dome when he needed them to kill creatures, I guess he was planning to wheel at that point. I also felt that his deck was not focused enough on aggression, but perhaps I'm seeing things from a more modern perspective.
I like that guys are having actual fun and not sitting there with sticks up their asses. This is what magic is supposed to be.
as they play with literal wads of money lying around
Laughter, banter and having fun. This is how MTGshould always be played. People forgot its a game played with friends. 🥳🤩
Its different now. I still play vintage and let people use my cards/decks. I just started playing again last December, first time since 1996.
Thanks for the Old School Magic video. Keep 'em coming.
Instablaster...
This is a better production than pro tours LOL.
Great vid! Love the idea of using different camera angles. When can we expect some more Old School MTG? :)
This rocked...I'm adding 4x Drain Life to my Vintage Mono Black deck and cramming Mishra's Factories into every deck that I can 😜
This is such a great video among very good people.

Just to clarify: '93-'94 refers to the format (using only cards from those years), not the time of recording.
Two players having fun = Awesome game
This is WAY to much fun than watch Brian Weissman playing "The Deck" XD
Couldn't agree more. Blue is the lamest color. It is so boring, slow, and overpowered.

but the controls decks are soooo boring ... ZZZzzzzz...

Also would be nice to get the decklists.

same
This is MTG! 🖤
im confused. isnt that a Yargle playmat. he wasnt around in 94'?
Nostalgic 😂 reminds me of 93...
was hymn to tourach at 4 ?
Harkens back to when this game was pure fun not bs overpowered netdecking
Great games!
Can you put the composition of the decks?
Yargle exists beyond the limits of our chronological reality
Ydwen Efreet were always nice for red burn decks
pity they're 90$ each now
the good ol days
Why did the guy play Goblin King instead of Wheel with a Specter on the field?
Well at that moment the guy only had one card left in his hand. He would be reloading his hand with lord knows what (mind twist, more hymms) and the goblin king pumps up all his other creatures so maybe somehow he can have a chance. He was planning to wheel the next hand I believe once he got it out but the hippie took it on the guess just in time unfortunately
At that point he knew the Specter would hit him and he'd discard Wheel, better to draw 7 cards rather than boost a couple goblins.

1:53 “Off to the races” 😂
Hmm.... Those play mats did not exist in 1994. Neither did that watch and those card sleeves. Haha. I really love the game though. :)
4:37 "Oh, fuck me. Why?!"
Little did they know
Is there seriously just cash sitting under that deck? lmao
HOW THE HELL IS THERE AN APPLE WATCH IN 93-94??? CREEPY
Was really pulling for goblins, f
"close to the 93'-94' Tournament" yes they didn't have apple watches at this time I guess
The $20 bills on the table are 1998+
Yup
10:49 the moment Goblin tilted
Its really 93/95 with fallen empires🤔
fallen empires released 11/1994
playmats? hmm idk about that
And foil card on screen. The first foil card which I've seen was on Prerelease of Urza's Saga from 1998.
The're playing with alphas and do not know how much money they r holding in their hands!
As a person who played competitively back in 94-95, this was painful to watch.
Yargle Matt, card didn’t exist in 94, neither did Matt’s or sleeves. Bs video
Why so many hysterical laughs?
Because they were having fun.
Wtf rules are these strip mine is restricted it’s been restricted since type 2 became a thing
It's old school 93-94 magic. They are probably playing by Eternal Central rules.
