Yeah, I screwed the pooch on that one and didn't film it. It wasn't much of a process though, literally used a dremel with a cut off disk and a needle file set to level it with the rest of the slot.

Did you notice less felt recoil by personally shooting it?

No, not really, you may feel a the difference if you had a stock configuration as well and shot them side by side.
