    Your video was posted April 6- we were in Canyonlands Island district April 6 and it was very windy, but the wind died down that night and was light for a few days. Then April 9 we were behind the reef and it was very windy there. Areas around Moab are very popular right now, and any area of enough size had pickups, fifth-wheel trailers, and fleets of OHVs. The individual overlanders had to look for small sites far enough out that the big trailers couldn't make it. We drove pretty far and did manage to find a couple of good campsites.

    Cost of Bronco and its mods, tent, all the camping/overland accessories, cost of living for the area that makes drives like that more accessible for you... Unless you have a trust fund you are also paying good money for that view. lol Great vid btw.

    Justin, thanks to your content and review I picked up a GFC superlite second hand and I absolutely love it. It’s the first time in spent serious money on overland gear and man it’s worth every penny. I was wondering, do you use the ladder mounts or just leave the ladder against the side? I do the second, I don’t really see the purpose of the mounts.

    • @JustinBMcBride
      @JustinBMcBride  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just lean the ladder. If it’s super windy I’ll loop one of the grey tent straps through it. Works great that way.

    • @sgoldste02
      @sgoldste02 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JustinBMcBride I received my Superlite late last year, and haven't used it yet except to sleep one night in it in my driveway. Do you have the GFC mattress in it? If so, do you deflate it before collapsing the tent, or do you leave the mattress fully inflated?

  • @pixelfacekillah
    @pixelfacekillah 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    As soon as I saw the title, I was going to recommend San Rafael. 🤣 I didn't want to though, so I don't blow up the spot. You guys should've drove into the Buckhorn Wash, by the petroglyphs, to set up camp. It's a little more shielded from the wind.

    Justin, why not 4 doors bronco?
    You paid a lot of money for that kind of view too😉😄. No tail gate table system for the bronco yet? Your table is massive for a two door bronco, must be occupying a lot of space. I, prefer the cool rig. The colour and wheels combo, the way you setup it was one of the best JLUs overlanding setup. Just as you're dialed(vehicle) you change your vehicle to a smaller one and so far no after market gears and parts like the jeep got. I, hope you get it right fast with your current configuration (vehicle). I'm only sharing my humble opinion. No offense intended, sir.
