Find an issue where he faces The Calculator. Main real difference being Taskmaster's skill copy is innate, while Calculator's is derived from technology.
Alternate plan: Just simply cut him a paycheck. Taskmaster works as a combat instructor & mercenary for hire. He's less of a supervillain and more a guy just doing his day job. Finding out how much his employer is paying him, & agreeing to pay him double or triple what he's being paid might make him back down.
Taskmaster is also interesting in that he has some kinds of principles tor even "morals" that he displays on occasion (like helping out a paraplegic who was injured in a fight between him and Deadpool or admitting to the limitations of his powers to his probable daughter Finesse). There are lines he is reluctant to cross; convincing him that following his employers instructions is a violation of this ill-defined moral code or simply not in his best interests would probably neutralize him at least for the moment.
Fun Fact: In the animated series Ultimate Spiderman, where he is part of a team with Power Man, Iron fist, etc; Taskmaster has interacted with both Peter Parker and Spiderman, but was not able to connect the dots that Peter Parker was Spiderman. His Youth sounding voice gave Taskmaster the idea that he might be dealing with a high school student, which caused taskmaster to pose a gym teacher at one of the local highschools (which happened to be where spiderman went). During Gym practice, Peter deliberately performed below average while Flash Thompson performed the best. Flash ironically ended up doing many moves similar to spiderman, making Taskmaster think Spiderman was Flash Thompson.
Batman has a protégé named Cassandra Cain. She was trained as an assassin since birth and is able to predict people's movements just by watching. Like Taskmaster.
That's a good one. Peter is known to be a formidable fighter when the plot calls for it. But the most imperative contingency plan he needs to have is for Stewie.
I could imagine Batman bringing up the fact that Peter seems to have a unique form of toon force, as despite him being a fat unmotivated alcoholic slob, Griffin is somehow a peak human martial artist in a fight. Taking him on in a direct confrontation is a complete "no go" since Peter WILL take down Batman in a spectacularly destructive battle.
Funny Batman should bring up the idea of Taskmaster having difficulty with unpredictable opponents. It was mentioned in the Merc with a Mouth's first appearance in Death Battle that he was the only one to outwit Taskmaster. Deadpool's unpredictability was also brought up again during the aftermath. Said fight was against Deathstroke.
Taskmaster could be useful as a sparring partner for Batman. He can mimic any fighting style. If Batman convinced Taskmaster to be an ally, Batman would have a very realistic way to train for fighting just about anyone.
In addition to this Contingency, it would be recommended to fight in a location of complete darkness and/or to use flash-bang grenades to temporarily blind and disorient Taskmaster. He cannot copy what he can't see
Taskmaster would be one of the League's greatest threats with his skillset. Particularly to members such as Batman, Black Canary, Huntress, Green Arrow, Wildcat, etc. Along with members of the Bat Family.
If Amanda Waller knew about taskmaster, she would have them for her task force X program also, Lex Luthor can might help with taskmasters superpower problem by giving him a piece of platinum kryptonite or give him information about Ben 10 Omnitrix from another universe or all of the different miraculous from ladybug and cat noir’s world or generator Rex’s nanites or transfer a jean splicer, with DNA of of every power of every hero ,villain, anti-hero they’ve encountered with the multi-verse so far including replica of their weapons. Also, Batman‘s next contingency plan should be about Cyberpunk.
Contingency Plan Code: Metroid Subject: Samus Aran The newest Metroid game ends with Samus unlocking a dangerous power she can't completely control and will seemingly return in the future so that's a perfect reason for Batman to put together a plan in case she goes out of control. Also I at first thought of having "Ultimate Warrior" be the subject name (that's what the word Metroid means in Chozo) but there's the wrestler Ultimate Warrior and the word Metroid is instantly recognizable as to who the subject is. That and Samus can be considered a Metroid by this point, literally and figuratively.
Funnily enough, I'd love to see Joker (P5) go up against The Joker, partly to see how the latter would react to the former "stealing" his name....only to then realize that Joker (P5) also has supernatural powers in the form of his Personae, at which point he'd probably be seething with impotent rage when he realizes the he can't actually handle the "upstart". If it's a Joker who also has knowledge of Return of the Joker in Batman Beyond, it'd probably also give him unpleasant flashbacks of Terry to boot. Though I think in the end, Bruce would approve of Joker (P5) due to his strong moral compass and absolute refusal to kill his targets. He'd likely respect Joker & the Phantom Thieves for their ability to get the bad guys to publicly confess and try to atone for their crimes as well, particularly considering the fact that every member of the Phantom Thieves (save for Morgana & Zenkichi) are all High Schoolers/College Students.
One of Taskmaster's greatest character flaws is that the more he learns, the more his personal memory fades. He used to be a content man, but the more he absorbed, the more malicious he became.
Thank you for your Batman Contingency Plan videos. They are very enjoyable and very entertaining. If you are open to requests. I would love to see a video featuring the characters Chisato Nishikigi and Takina Inoue from the Anime Lycoris Recoil. That be so neat. Thank you again for your videos. Look forward to more videos.
Taskmaster is like Shadow Link from Ocarina of Time. If you try fighting him normally, he will beat you by perfectly reading all your movements. To beat him, you need to use powers he can't copy like Din's Fire or you have to fight in an unpredictable way by not Z-targeting.
Suggesting an idea for a contingency plan, video 4 Contingency Plan Code: Devil's Wingman Subject: Pacific Federation Peacekeeper Squadron Leader Crimson 1
I think I would like to see a Batman contingency code against Natsuki Subaru. How do you prepare against a guy who can turn back time indefinitely as long as he dies, and whose ability is connected to an immortal witch so powerful that she wiped out half the world. You would also have to take into account his other Authorities and his own impressive strategic mind and inhuman drive to achieve any goal he sets for himself.
There are only two people Taskmaster does not duplicate, Deadpool and Moon Knight, both are guano crazy and don’t care about being hurt. Unless Batman’s alter ego also doesn’t care about being hurt, Batman is in for a rough time. Also, Taskmaster does his own prep on his targets, so if he’s coming for Batman, he’s coming hard and fast. Maybe that’s demolishing Wayne Manor and sealing up the Batcave. Maybe that’s waiting for the 3 minutes Batman actually sleeps a week and just mercing him.
i'd like to mention that while he can mimic moon knight he won't because he barely ever dodges or blocks because of his insane pain tolerance and support by konshu. he is also scared of him after the last time they fought. not sure if zur-en-arrh could use this but it's there.
This is a matchup I'd be super-hyped for, but the Zur-En-Arrh part has me a little worried for Batman. I haven't actually read the comics where Zur-En-Arrh appears, but from what I do understand of that version of Batman, is there any kind of danger that he might lose himself in that persona if he stays in it too long?
Taskmaster is absolute master of combat. He learned a alien martial art that was suppose to be too difficult and complex for humans to learn. He survived Doctor Dooms enegry blasts point-blank, defeated multiple heroes or villains and survived multiple punches from Hyperion
Contingency Plan Code: Hail Hydra Subject: The Red Skull (Marvel Comics, not MCU) Some highlights: -United the villain's to take down certain superheroes they were best suited to deal with and lead to the villain's ruling the world (Old Man Logan) -Used a Cosmic Cube to rewrite Captain Ameria's history so he was a Hydra Loyalists all along; while Skull was later killed by Steve Rogers, it resulted in Steve using the ideology of Red Skull to, for a time, ruling America (Secret Empire) -Slowly took over America through deception, using both the hedonistic son of Tony Stark and the head of Ultron (Avengers: Twilight 2024)
wouldn't it be also more eficient to just blind him if possible? if he is not using heat vision googles then a thick smoke cloud be enough if he can be caught unaware.
There is quite a few of the opponents from this series that Batman can easily take down with a single method. Taskmaster included. A long distance sniper with a tranquilizer. Any opponent that does not have superhuman skin, resistance to tranquilizers, or super awareness (such as Spider-man's spidey sense) is just as vulnerable to it as any normal human.

Out of curiosity, do you choose a new character to cover at random or do you make a list on it or something to that extent? Just curious about how you go about doing these. ☺️
A mix between the two, I have a list of characters that I would like to do personally, and then recommended ones. You can usually see the difference in the videos. If a video doesn't have a "recommended" tag, at the top left in the beginning of a video, then the character was the channel's own decision

This would be an awesome match but Batman has overlooked one important thing. Taskmaster is a mercenary. So when he shows up all Batman needs to do is pay him. There is NO way Taskmaster can refuse those Wayne dollars.
Okay Batman fighting Taskmaster would be something I’d pay to watch
