7:35 There appears to be a wick that might draw oil up to certain locations in the mechanism. Is it important to ensure that the wick reaches the oil reservoir when the machine is closed?
Great comment. Yes its always a great idea to make sure the wick is going into the oil. Its also a good idea to drop a little oil on any wick that looks dry on all industrials.

Per the comment at ~8:45 in the video about RPMs, since this machine has a pump, does that mean it's not optimal to use it for slow-speed sewing? It seems like the oil pump may not deliver oil well enough in slower sewing operations.
