Bought this as an upgrade to my 13yr old motorhome which is internally wired with coax cable. This tv does not seem to like cable coax from a satellite dish network. is there a device that will convert coax to hdmi signal? Am I correct, that the antenna port is only for over the air cable and not for cable from a Wally?
Hi, sorry for the late reply. Coax connected cable should work as well. Both antenna and cable use coax, but it depends on Tv models. Some TVs will stop the scan at antenna only. They will not read the dish. Before buying any extra device, try to scan again for available cable channels.
Change the source on your TV to TV using remote.
Use the directional pad or arrow buttons on your remote to select Settings.
Select Broadcasting, and then select Auto Program.
Select Start to begin auto-programming, and then select Both Air and Cable
That's a smart question, yes you can get coax to HDMI adaptor. Be careful when you order this device online, read details and check the pictures because coax port used in Europe is not the same as in North America and so on. Check pictures carefully before ordering in case it still doesn't work for you. These Coax to Hdmi adaptors will cost between $70 to $160. You might find cheaper as well.

This is great instructions but I am still fearful of the setup so I don't want to take existing tv down till I got this running to replace it so I am wonder if I can just do the set up in another part of the house and move it later if it successful. Once the tv set do I have to do it again if I decide to unplug and move it to another room? Or will it remember everything and just be ready to go?
No, you don't have to do it again if you move your TV. Your TV will save the info

Hi Attar, Samsung has a built -in channel store, only some very recent Samsung TVs have a web browser to install TH-cam or other APK apps. You cannot have TH-cam in Samsung because it doesn't have Play store or a web browser like Android. You can only install apps preprogrammed by Samsung.

Data on an Ethernet network can only be accessed by physically attaching a device to the network, while data on a WiFi network travels through the air and can be more easily intercepted

Hi, Samsung TVs do not have App store or Play store. You can only use built-in apps already installed by Samsung by default. It's not like Android

Some televisions do not have apps like TH-cam and Netflix. You can't install an app if it's not there in the channel store. You can connect an Android Box, a Firestick or Roku device to your Smart TV, these devices have the app.

I am not getting the request for a pin at the start portion but I continued following the rest of the directions that you provided afterward and when I am at network setting I click next and it act likes it checking for wifi network but it just stops. How to change it to wireless connection?
In some Samsung TVs, you have 2 options, wireless and wired connection. If you don't have wireless, it might not work for you either because your TV doesn't come with a built-in wifi module or is damaged, If your Tv doesn't detect your wifi, use cable or get a Samsung wireless Lan adaptor, but be careful when you purchase one, it has to match your Tv model, because Samsung adaptors are not standard

Hi Cathy, go to settings and find hidden access points or networks. Taps that, you will find available wifi network connections. If you still can't find your wifi, connect an ethernet cable to your TV, let update your TV for a few minutes, reboot your TV and try to find your network.
