If you guys didn't know this but: these exact animatronics were places at a Warehouse that was A abandoned in 1995.
These animatronics were left there rotting for 25 years straight.
A crew of people found them all rotten on February 25 2020 and were taken to a new warehouse.
As of September 2020 they have been maintained very well by its owner and is now trying to improve their movements again.
Cool thanks for the information I would have thought that this was at creative engineering for a test or something
that is very false
this is the cei (creative engineering) show and its still very much in good condition
@@smallglassoflemonade2588 This isn't the exact show CEI uses although, they've replaced them a few times. Just thought you would want to know that.
@@Dragelno it is (I think) just cosmetic changes
@@FatzGeronimo1982 No lol the rock afire has had a lot of mechanical redesigns to make sure there manufacturing the best show they can, the show has been replaced a few times to show these mechanical redesigns in action.
I miss Showbiz Pizza Place so much!! If I had money I would try to bring it back.
Rock-afire Explosion! Man, I miss Showbiz Pizza Place. *sniff*

@@blueinsunlightSame I was born too late but my mom went for her birthday once and she told me where they use to be located in my town.
I just had pizza and it reminded me of showbiz
Too cool! Thanks for sharing. I never thought I would see vintage video of these guys.

Yes and the sun
Is my favorite and dook & cho cho
Nope Arron voiced
Billy bob looney bird Rolfe earl beach bear and Mitzi
Also Burt Wilson left for the voice of fatz now Arron voicing him
Also Arron didn’t voice sun moon and Choo Choo.
Just watching this, I can smell the pizza.
LOVE ROCK_AFIRE EXPLOSION 1981 BEATLES MEDLEY
SUE!
video has been up for 10 years today, maybe 35 years old also.
now 14 years
This is the video that introduced me to the rock afire explosion and it is the 6th anniversary I have seen this video since 2012.
I love the early cosmetics here! I wish they kept them.
Dsssss
Ssss

Same!! I seriously wish that they still had these cosmetics somewhere. I'd love to see someone remake them perfectly.
I never see Helen Henny do those movements like Mitzi Mozzarella
They probably never used Helen's movements in the 36 remaining 3 Stage Shows at CEC today. In 1992 though, I did see Helen move just like Mintzi did, but she just moved slower and had good mouth movements like Mintzi did.

Just wondering if anyone here has any memories of this place? A friend of mine’s special interest is animatronics and specifically the Rock-Afire Explosion (they linked this video to me). They infodumped to me about it 2 days ago and I’ve become really interested and wanted to start researching it. Much thanks to anyone willing to share memories! ^.^
My mom and dad went to Showbiz a lot as kids! My family actually found a vhs of my uncles 11th birthday! (It was in 1986) my mom remembers the animatronics very well and Mitzi was her favorite! Also idk if your friend likes Chuck E. Cheese animatronics but my mom remembers the king Kat animatronic that was only in a few locations!
I had the 7" to this.
Do it BRING BACK THE AMAZING CHARICTERS
Does the machine you can briefly see at 2:27 belong to the show control system?
yee
according to the masks and air pressure it was recorded around 1980-1981
1981
@@YBP23 wrong because billy bob has his current mask
@@Idontwantayoutubehandle. That's not his current mask, that's his Showbiz Pizza era mask sculpted in 1981 and was used until the mold went missing in 1992. The sculpting for the current mask was sculpted over a surviving Showbiz Pizza mask giving it a very similar look but not as refined. The really early mask with the heavy brows, and more details that's shared with Billy Wilbur was not used for long, only being used in 1980, and a little bit in 1981.
was this recorded at CEI?
It's very likely, seeing as how some of the computer equipment is exposed.
my left ear enjoid this.
MichaelsShortFilms did beach bear wear his hair like he does today?
I'll assume you're wondering if the Beach Bear at Creative Engineering Inc. wore his hair then like today. The answer is yes - kinda.... For a while (late 80's to late 00's?), he had no hair. Nowadays, he has his hair back.
MichaelsShortFilms and did they keep the mech for the billy bob and just replaced the mask?
Also, holy shit, this video is *13* (nearly 14!!!) years old!
Yeah
@@user-qt8id6rn6o Русская?! Ты любишь The Rock-afire Explosion?
dook laurel i love you
Was beach bear grey in early shows?
Yes, the earlier version of Beach Bear was grey.
Now I got to suppress all those memories again.
What did they say at 0:54 and 1:01
P.S. R.I.P. Burt Wilson
@MegamanX4ThArmor When i saw her standing there
Sabored ss
They scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. I would miss other kids birthdays if there were having it at showbiz. I was 4 man. The ringleader was the worst, it appears he had his hand through the back skull of this other thing.
I can't hear it.
The Song Played at 2:36 is Cool, whats the Name of the Original Song? Dook Sings Cool.
Saw her standing there by the Beatles
Its 1982 not 1981
this is one of the oldest videos on yt
When was it uploaded?
@@sethhorst6158 2006
@@WARZONEDEMON2 I see now, for some reason the upload date wouldn't load in when I first saw the video.
is this cei
I believe so because you can see some equipment throughout the video and you probably wouldn't see that at a showbiz
@@CornerBallparkWb yea
Close ur eye
What is this?! (And what's "Rock-a-Fire?)
Aiden Slessman you are dead to me
+Aiden Sleasman This is an anamatronic band named the Rock-Afire Explosion, created for an old arcade/pizza place in the 80's called Showbiz Pizza Place-now known as Chuck E Cheese's. These are actually the same anamatronics as the ones in CEC, except with different cosmetics. (I hope I could help you after 3 years of you likely waiting(
Are you nuts
That’s a beta Rock-Afire Explosion.
Omg beach bear fats cook choo choo mittZ and bill bob
Idk why I just find this really REALLY creepy...and I'm probably the only one...
i can honestly say, i've never been more terrified in my life than when i saw this. i love the beatles, but clowns/puppets/animatronic rock groups scare me.
It’s the rock afire explosion and it’s not scary
Me trauma
some people have no sense of humor.
Andre066x z
This is just fucking scary...It wouldn't be so weird if the camera wouldn't move so much or if it wasn't so dark, but it looks like it was shot in some child molester's basement. Weird...
cheifguggletram I might have been recordes at cei. It might have been a light shining very dimly
...what the Hell...
