Great video! A Caribbean woman here from Wisconsin. Love those back yard ponds. I fish up north Stevens Point and Denmark Wisconsin. I fish for trout, blue, gills in Denmark and large mouth bass in Stevens Point. Both ponds belong to family members. I head to Florida a couple times a year to catch up on ocean fishing also. Love that your kid fishes with you. Keep those videos coming. 👏👏👏😍🐟 🐟

Hey Ben a little tip on handling big dad's is wrap a little bit of duct tape on your fingers .. doesn't hurt when they pinch you .
When ya get finned rub it on their bell. Helps take the sting out. At least that's the old folks tale
If for some reason they don’t take, research breeding them. It can be done easily with half a sack of crawfish in an aerated water trough in your garage. Just keep the water clean. Feeding them is super easy too. You can raise your own stock and have a constant year round food supply for your pond.
Now that your in Texas you should try your hand at some jetty fishing. Make a trip to Port Aransas and try the south jetty or take the water taxi to the north jetty. There’s also the Packery Jetties just a little south of Port Aransas. You can hook up to some big fish…Jacks, Kings and Tarpon which are being caught right now.
If you still have feed on the water after 10 minutes you're feeding too much. Nearly all the food should be gone by that time. Just a tip

Happy birthday. Love the videos. Tip for the day if you get nailed by a catfish barb wipe the spot on the catfishes tail. They produce their own antivenom in the slime on the tail. Relief is almost instantly. Keep up the great videos. Tight lines.

With how much you have stocked your ponds you really need to consider oxygenation. You're going to end up with a massive fish kill if you don't put a fountain or some sort of bubbler in there to aerate the water.

You need to add shiners and fatheads, maybe Rosy miners’ depending on what you can find down there. You’ve Got to build whole ecosystem from bottom up. If you could find stone fly larvae, or larger dragonfly damselfly large, they used to sell them commercially. You add small, medium and big food source, so everybody healthy, everybody growing!!

Try stocking with green sunfish. They don’t grow as big and the bass can continue to eat them. Love the vidyas!

Use the slime under the belly of the cat, that will neutralize the poison from that prong. Works every time, unless you get spurred and loose your catfish,yeah happened to me. It does hurt!

Nice video. New Subscriber. As a Cajun that eats Crawfish quite a few times a year, that was some decent size boiling Crawfish. Next time see if your fish market will order you some Seed Crawfish which are small Crawfish that you start a Crawfish pond with , they will grow in your pond and will become a extra food source for your pond.
