Crappie and bluegill are the only fresh water fish I eat and boy they are oh so delicious 😋
Your insect, as a couple others have mentioned, was a Water Scorpion, which isn't a scorpion at all. lol They are closely related to the terrestrial assassin bugs and feed a lot on other invertebrates, tadpoles, and small fish.

It still is. I wish 6th sense would make a non-popping frog. I get that the Vega is supposed to be kind of a hybrid, but it still gets hung up a bit too much in the thick stuff
@@outragequitter5027 looks like the hookup ratio is not great either. Might just need to bend up the hooks.
@@mikemaahs638 i don’t think the hook up ratio is bad on them at all. That’s just going to happen when frog fishing. Sometimes you’re not ready for a bite and sometimes they just don’t quite get it right.

walleye and largemouth might not do too good together in a stocked pond
Catch, clean, and cook with 1 small and 1 large(ish) of each species. Do smaller fish actually taste better than larger when cooked. Also, skin on or skin off.

We want to see some pond bass catch clean and cook from your backyard pond for sure!!! We think you was just messing with use and saying you would eat a bass but then just kept them off your hooks so you wouldn’t have to eat one for us!!! Put a few trout in your pond they won't reproduce but they lay alot of eggs in your fish will eat the eggs I mean they laid a lot of eggs and their big eggs
