I started with the series "For those left behind" and Alhumdulilah I learned so much about our beautiful Deen through subsequent videos. After my father’s janaza (one day before Eid) I was struggling for a coping mechanism. So I fasted for 6 days in Shawwal (as he used to do) and I cleaned out his personal things and gave as much away to charity as I could. May Allah guide you in your grieving period. 💚
May Allah grant you strength and sabar and your father the highest rank in jannatul firdous and I pray he is in so much peace tranquility and bliss both of you and whoever has lost their loved ones

THE Prophet Muhammad (p.b.u.h.) said: “There are seven whom Allah will shade in His Shade on the Day when there is no shade except His Shade: 1) a just ruler; 2) a youth who grew up in the worship of Allah, the Mighty and Majestic; 3) a man whose heart is attached to the mosques; 4) two men who love each other for Allah’s sake, meeting for that and parting upon that; 5) a man who is called by a woman of beauty and position (for illegal intercourse), but be says: ‘I fear Allah’, 6) a man who gives in charity and hides it, such that his left hand does not know what his right hand gives in charity; 7) and a man who remembered Allah in private and so his eyes shed tears.’”
May Allah swt make us all from the forerunners even with our shortcomings with Your mercy only.. Ya Allah increase us in good deeds and efforts to become one of them Ameen ya rab..

May my children and yours serve the deen, exceed us in righteousness, and be in the shade on the day judgement. May we die only when we are in a state of imaan, returning to our Lord, well pleasing and well pleased. Ameen.
