I truly needed this reminder, It’s really hard breaking free from that routine of prayer where you feel like it’s a part of a schedule or something you need to tick off, rather than you enjoying the sweetness of it and longing for the meeting between you and Allah. I pray we all find peace in our prayer and the true sweetness of it.

Just today, I was asking my husband to make the intention (along with me) to fast for 6 days in Shawwal, immediately after Eid. We have done it together for the last 2 years, and inshaAllah, will continue to do so as long as our health permits it. 💚
When Muslim say it's sunnah you don't have to do it just do your fards but they failed to understand the one through his sunnah has taught us what is fard without prophet Muhammad saw we wouldn't even know what is fard so neglecting his sunnah but just accepting fard it's like ignoring the actions of our own messenger Muhammad saw who has taught us what is fard in the first place
A believer stands in front of Allah 2 times. The 1st during salah, and 2nd on the Day of Judgement. Whoever stands correctly in the first, the second will be made easier for him. Whoever disregards the 1st standing, the 2nd will be extremely difficult for him.

I need to learn how to pray as a girl. I‘m just starting to really learn in depth Islam. I am a Muslim and always believed in Allah, but i never grew up in a overly religious practicing household, so i need to learn on my own. Idk how to start. I feel its harder to get access in European countries. In my country i don‘t know any Islam teachers or how to get a Quran etc. I hope i can learn everything in time

In sha Allah u will find trusted resources online too. For the English translation I am using 'The Quran' translation by Abdel Haleem. Published by Oxford World's Classics. I also like the bk by Abul A'la Mawdudi on Fundamentalsof Islam. He also did detailed translation/tafhim of the Quran 'Towards Understdng the Qur'an'. I'm just sharing what I find v. helpful. U can purchase these online.

2 - whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One " [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]

1. It was narrated that Abu Umaamah said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever recites Ayatul Kursi immediately after each prescribed prayer, there will be nothing standing between him and his entering Paradise except death.”
2. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: He who says, ‘Subhan-Allahi wa bihamdihi‘ (Glory and praise be to Allah) one hundred times a day, his sins will be obliterated even if they are equal to the extent of the foam of the sea. (Al-Bukhari and Muslim)
3. Abu Hurairah narrated that the Prophet saw said:“There are two statements that are light on the tongue, heavy on the scales, and beloved to the Most Merciful: Subahana Allahi wa bihamdihi, Subhana Allahi Al-`Azeem (Glory and praise be to Allah, Glorified is Allah, the Most Great.)” (Al-Bukhari)
4. Abu Hurairah reported that the Prophet saw said: He who repeats after every prayer: Subhan Allah (Glory be to Allah) thirty-three times, Al-hamdu lillah (praise be to Allah) thirty-three times, Allahu Akbar (Allah is Greatest) thirty-three times; and completes the hundred with: La ilaha illallahu, wahdahu la sharika lahu, lahul-mulku wa lahul-hamdu, wa Huwa `ala kulli shai’in qadir (There is no true god except Allah. He is One and He has no partner. His is the sovereignty and His is the praise, and He is Omnipotent)Will have all his sins pardoned even if they may be as large as the foam on the surface of the sea.” (Muslim)
5. Zaid ibn Harithah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whosoever says: ‘Astaghfirullaha al-`Azeem al-ladhi la ilaha illa howa Al-Hayy al-Qayyum wa atubu illayh(I ask forgiveness of Allah, the Magnificent, than Whom there is no deity, the Living, the Sustainer of existence, and I turn to Him in repentance,) his sins will be forgiven even if he should have run away from the battlefield (while he was engaged in fighting for the Cause of Allah, which is a grave sin in Islam). (Abu Dawud and authenticated by Al-Albani)
6. The Prophet peace be upon him said "Whosoever recites Durood Sharief on me 10 times in the morning and evening, I will intercede for him on the day of Qiyamah." (TIBRANI)
7. Whoever reads Surah Ikhlas ten times, Allah will build a palace for him in Paradise. ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) exclaimed, “If that’s the case, then we will increase in our palaces!” The Prophet (may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) responded, “Allah is better and greater (in reward).” [Ahmad]
8. Whoever reads Surat al-Kahf on Friday, it will act as a light/protection for him from one Friday to the next. [Bayhaqi]
9. Whoever performs their ablution carefully and then affirms (their faith by testifying): “Ash-hadu an laa ilaha il Allah wahdahu laa shareeka lahu wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa rasuluhu; Allahumma-ja’lni min at-tawaabeen waj-a’lni min al-mutatahireen”: ‘I testify that there is no true deity except Allah Alone, Who has no partners, and that Muhammad saw is His slave and Messenger; O Allah, make me from those who repent and purify themselves’ - the eight gates of Jannah are opened for him so he may enter through whichever of these gates he desires.[Tirmidhi]
10. Whoever says: “Radheetu billahi Rabba, wa bil Islaami Deena, wa bi Muhammad saw Nabiyya” - ‘I am pleased with Allah as my Lord, and with Islam as my Religion, and with Muhammad saw as my Prophet,’ Paradise would be (made) mandatory for him. [Abu Dawud]
11. Whoever asks Allah for Paradise three times (Allahumma inni as’aluk al-Jannah), then Paradise will say: “O Allah! Enter him into Paradise!” And whoever seeks protection with Allah from the Fire three times (Allahumma ajirni min an-Nar), the Fire will say: “O Allah! Protect him from the Fire!” [Tirmidhi]
12. Whoever is easy-going, gentle and kind, Allah will make the fire forbidden for him. [Hakim]
13. In Paradise there are rooms whose outside can be seen from the inside and the inside can be seen from the outside. Allah has prepared them for those who feed the poor, who are gentle in speech, who fast regularly and who pray at night when (other) people are asleep. [Ahmad]
14. Narrated from Abu Hurayrah that the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) said: “There is a soorah of the Qur’an, with thirty verses, that interceded for a man until he was forgiven; it is ‘Soorah Tabaarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk (Blessed is He in Whose Hand is the dominion)’ [al-Mulk 67:1].”
If you pass this on, It is Sadaqatul
Jaria. (meaning you keep on getting rewarded for it, every time someone acts upon it even when
you have died, until the day of judgement🤲🏽🤍).

A beautiful addition would be to add how a woman who cannot do salah because of her menses is still obeying Allah and she is never prevented from reaching out to Him for she can still do dua (supplication), dhikr, reflection and Quran (in whatever manner is suitable according to the fiqh she follows)

Omer suleman please give us a lecture on the mind set and obedience required for prayers Salah. As you mentioned it is truly difficult in today world to concentrate and hold time to offer genuine prayers. What kind of spiritual mind set is required. How to connect in a way which is thankful to Allah for letting us pray to him. I remember something which helped me and that was when ever I had room to move up a row in prayers is masjid I believe Allah wants me to have more sawab while moving up. Me ? A nobody he opened space Infront of me his servant to move and get more sawab. This made me break down in prayers. I hope it also helps others get in the zone.
