Nicely done! Salamat sa pag-include ng solos ko, masaya akong ineenjoy pa rin ng karamihan yung mga na-record namin ilang dekada nang nakalipas.
Couple corrections: Hendrixy rhythm lang ako sa K-World. Even though ako nagsulat nung harmony guitar lines, di ko natugtog sa recording yun dahil nag-launch na ang RM in the middle of Freeman recording. Buti nakuha nila si Noel to finish the album.
Oh, natural 7th ang Harmonic Minor, hindi 6th. 🙂

One of most iconic 90s solo for me ay yung Minsan ng Eheads, iba talaga tama nun kahit parang simple lang

Sapiera's Parting Time is the greatest Pinoy guitar solo ever recorded even by international standards. That's based purely on expression and melody. Perf's 214 is a close second. Points for intensity and melody. A third would be something from Noel Mendez, LRT Swing maybe. He is all sophisticated melody and technique. He should be on the list. And dark horse is Teddy Diaz , I Stand With You. Known for his unique melody and creativity. It's all about melody and technique. The greatest guitar solos have a life of their own outside of the song but are always still a big part of the song itself.

I think Perf's playstyle is superb. He's not being technical for the sake of being technical. His lines are so meaningful. Very hard to duplicate. A one of a kind talent and music genius. Chos! 😁

I'm a certified Batang 90's!. I still remember playing some of this guitar solo's back in high school and college. Unfortunately I had an accident last August 2020. Up to this day hndi ko padin mabalik ung pag gigitara ko, the way I used to play guitar way back then. I could say that 90's is the best ERA for Filipino rock band. Salute sa mga gantong content Sir PAX!. =)

Kulang ang "10" if we're talking about the 90s. Alamid's "Your Love" was also one of the studied guitar solos of that era. Nexxus' Frank Singkol's solo in "I'll Never Go" is also great. Dami ng iconic solos from both Wolfgang and Razorback, and "Mahal Pa Rin Kita" has one hell of a solo as well. But I guess you only need to choose one from each band or artist. How about from the great "Jack Rufo" of Neo Colors?

Bro you need to upload more videos more often. You got great stuff. Your editing skills are genius lalo na pag may inexplain ka na chords/scales, meron lalabas na small screen to show how the chords/scales is played and how it sounds like. I find very useful for intermediate to advanced guitarist such as myself. Looking forward for the next video. Cheers man

I think you forgot to mention Mr. David Aguirre of Razorback. He is one Hell of a Ass kicking Guitarist not only in "Giyang" but also in the song "Payaso". He is also became the "Guitarist of the Year" in the NU 107 Rock Awards in 1997. Nice Content!! Keep it up!!!

I've always been wondering Ano talaga ung tamang pag play ng Closing Solo ng With a Smile ng Eraserheads. Para sakin kasi palagi siyang na tatabunan ng iba pang kanta and hindi talaga siya gaanong dinig dahil sa patong patong na instruments na dinagdag ni ely. Pero i tried listening to it ng matindi at isa to sa pinaka magandang solo na narinig ko coming from Filipino artist but while trying to cifra the solo its really hard to break down lalo na na hindi naman ako ganun kagaling :D. It would also be a great series to look forward too. if you break down solo's na hindi gaanong na ririnig tulad din ng solo ng jopay. anyways FIRE Upload Pax. More blessings to you.

i sure hope the next episode will be the 2010's. it would be interesting to see new bands creating soon-to-be iconic masterpieces of songs and their solos especially with the comeback of band music in the latter part of the decade. i.e. juan karlos, IVOS and many more. nonetheless, great content as always! you're shedding light to the music we grew up to love. people deserve to hear them today, because it's really something to be proud of.
