    Before I subscribed to your channel I thought 'concrete is concrete' . But you have made it an art form. I know nothing about pouring concrete but I do know how excellent your work looks. Your eye and dedication to details is what sets you apart from the main stream. I look forward to seeing your next project.

      Me too! I had no idea. I think the most awesome is the wood plank stamps. It even has the saw blade visible in spots. Genius.

    We had a house on a golf course, but not as close as this house. We had an extra 100’ deep lot between the front lot and the fairway. I was in the shed at the back of the front lot and heard a whack, thump, thump. I came out and saw a golf ball by the shed and looked back at the tee box and one guy was pointing at his partner. Our place was about mid way down the par 4 fairway where most first shots landed, so he must have hit a tremendous hook shot to hit up in the tree and bounced the ball off the shed roof. When I let the back lot grow, I collected a large number of errant balls.

    Kudos to the owner for having the big size patio. The moment you said, "Border," I said out loud, "Yes!" The border looks fantastic, I love that look. The curves are also fantastic. And what a great idea w the board inside the window to hold that unit off the pour. The attention given to find the roller lines and other imperfections I have witnessed you and the crew do since day one 3 years ago is just normal for you guys, but it's quite awesome to me. I do not see that level on other channels. Even fixing the landscape around the pour is another nice touch by TSH. To say it all in 4 words - you guys are awesome!! Also, kudos to Emily for such good editing. Thank you all for sharing. 👍❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸

    I shiplapped all the sheathing interior and exterior for my barn using a router. Gives coverage when it shrinks without having to deal with board and batten.

    How many people on your crew? Any trouble finding workers and do you have a core group that you can depend on? Everybody looks busy. Jobs come together fast but that’s video. 😊 I enjoy watching others work. 😁 I like your method of holding the AC unit off the concrete. Clever. 😊

    I just watched a crew patch a sidewalk in front of my house yesterday, Brush finish and an orange color hardener. I was surprised how dry it was when they placed it, I wasn't even sure they'd be able to float it at all.

    Nice video, love the stamps, they just make a plain flat slab look elegant. :) I saw you use the leaf blower on a precious video, i thought dang that's genius. It is so many little details that make just a slab into, i guess i would say a work of art. Really enjoy your videos Tom, being ex Employee of a Concrete Co, and Ex Concrete Contractor; i can see and appreciate the details. I know a good bit of what it takes to do what you do. Concrete work is literally a pain in the "back" and knees. Great job, appreciate the time and effort to show us what you do. Thanks to Donna, [i think i have her name right, forgive if i messed it up, for all the behind the scenes stuff as well. I always heard, behind every good man, is a GREAT wife :) ty

      About 10 pounds with no weights, you can put additional weights in as needed. Not sure how much they are.

    I have a stamped concrete patio around my pool. It was poured in 2019. It was sealed. It’s faded and needs cleaning and sealed. What would you recommend for doing this. Should I use a cleaner first before power washing? What type of sealer would you recommend? Thanks Jim.

    Have you ever used water reducer? Does it affect the strength of the concrete?

    • @mikebarushok5361
      @mikebarushok5361 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It would be rare to order concrete without plasticizer. Concrete with plasticizer and less water will always be stronger than without plasticizer and the greater amount of water needed for the same workability.

    • @Concretewiththehauses

      We have used them most commonly we do not use them in our everyday mix we use a very high cement ratio
