    I had resisted using Apple pay until the card and savings account came out and now, I love it for the rewards and the Apple savings high interest with the daily cash. Also, high on the pros is the fact that I can monitor my spending on a daily basis on my phone instead of getting the "news" of my balance at the end of the month. It is very helpful to help budget the spending.

    Great idea, but nothing works as described. For example, what 3 dots? Not in current OS16.4.1. I found another way to set up, but it doesn't show under Apple Card portion of Wallet. Where is it? I've tapped everything! Tech people are always so sure everything works as described - almost never my experience. What else should we know?

    I’ve been an Apple Card customer and fan since November 2021 and this will be a great perk for all of us "Apple sheep" (as Drew of Tailosive Tech would say) and Apple Card customers, including myself.
    That being said, Apple should really separate the credit card and savings account application in the future so that more people will sign up for their HYSA (high-yield savings account). Most people won’t go into debt (eg opening a brand-new credit card account) just to open a savings account and some people (eg Dave Ramsey fans) really hate the idea of being in any type of debt (the vast majority of us should be).

    • @victuringan1429

      @travelingmindful ปีที่แล้ว +5

      @@trevor_corey8037 Also, just getting the card and barely using it or letting it sit might still overall help your score by increasing your available credit. However, I would try and leverage the rewards where they are relevant, as noted in my soap box rant, pay that balance down every month so goldmans sacchs can suck the egg on the profit they're hoping to make off you.

    So cringe that a savings account is only accessible/manageable by purchasing a iPhone that supports latest iOS. But if you are in on the ecosystem cool, but still Apple has confirmed future orders of iPhones, because they know exactly how many iPhone 8 (the oldest phone currently supported) users there are with Apple Card, and when they drop support for the 8, those users, if they want their savings, will have to buy a new phone... I think that is why 4.15% is offered, the bank knows Apple will be good on future sales.
