I was so pleased to see someone share how to do this properly. I have used the boards before in the past but never did I know so much should go into it. I bought my son one for Christmas...he's 13 and has tried and tried and it hasn't worked for him. This video will be a great tool for him to learn and myself too! Thank you! My uncle and I 'played' with a Board when I was maybe 16 and neither of us knew what the heck we were doing. An entity came thru who wanted us to put a shot of rum on the board. Really thought this was so silly. But always remembered the event. Years of church dogma persuaded me the communications were 'evil'. Recently, I've been using an Osho deck and calling teachers that support my highest growth in a mature, reverent focus. The messages I receive from the cards that wind up in formations are spot on! mind-blowing sometimes. I'd love to try the Board again, now, but first to locate another human to participate. Lisa Quinlan You're both wrong, sorry. It is a Lakota phrase. What she is saying is "Aho- Mitakuye Oyasin" - except that she said it "Mitakuasin." Culturally speaking, I'm not sure how the Lakota would feel about their language being used in conjunction with a type of Ouija board, although the traditionals can and do communicate with their native spirits - Just not in that way. During ceremonies, different songs are used to call specific spirits. Specific spirits have names, of course, and are called upon by those traditionals who have permission from those spirits to do so. Through ceremonies or even dreams, that traditional may have been granted that right to call upon a specific spirit. But it is nothing to play around with - it is very strict in its way. Even though Eric is on the other side and likes to swear a lot, that would be unthinkable to do in a Lakota ceremony. Maybe all Native ceremonies. And yes, we always start a prayer with a Thank You.

I've done it by myself a bunch of times to talk to my son. I go by feelings. If it doesn't feel right, move the planchette to goodbye and close the board. I've had to do that a few times. I made my own ouija board, so I put some rules on the back no lies or bad intention no harmful energy, etc. but still a good idea to say it out loud before beginning. Don't fucking be a smart ass be respectful. Don't continue to talk to a spirit when you feel uneasy. Don't fuck around.
I realize that this video is 6 years old, so there's slim chance that Jamie will see this question. But I still am going to ask it, just in case: Why is it such a big "NO," to use the board alone? You see, I did this many times, when I was younger (in my 20s....now, I'm in my late 40s.) I was certainly never trying to contact anything negative.....I was just very curious, very lonely, and had no one to use the board with me. I did communicate a lot, with (what I thought at the time was, but now....I just don't know) a certain friendly spirit on the other side. It's been many moons since those days, but in the intervening years, I've suffered from horrible attacks of depression/anxiety (I'm currently fine). I've always wondered if I brought it on myself, by using that board alone so often. If that is the case, it seems an awfully cruel punishment, for something that was done with good intentions.

I must share this. I've enjoyed every one of Channeling Eric videos I've viewed. There's been so many 'take-aways' I've incorporated in my life. For that, i am so grateful. I've heard in so many videos that joke about how Eric messes with your computer and does this and does that to the detriment of having to go buy another piece of equipment blah blah blah. It was cute I'm watching I dismissed it but go on and listening. Not that I don't believe. It's just that something was just cute..... Until today. While watching this particular video, the socket that everything in the area that I'm sitting in is attached to, plugged into, flipped. Now mind you, before I found that out I had to go outside flip all the Breakers come back inside. ..nothing ...go to all of the switches... flipped them... nothing. No, I had to go all the way back of the garage where all kinds of stuff is in the way to get to this one particular socket JUST to hit the reset. I haven't had to do that in years. So, do I think it was Eric? Do I think it was energies hanging around Eric ? I don't know. So, thanks Eric, if u did visit, I appreciate that you have clearly shown that you're around, but don't do that again! It was a pain in the ass. Lol.

I thought we r never ever suppose to take finger off or u release spirit.? We used it in a haunted factory...my hubbys old job.. and the grandparent to my friend came through. My hand was ICE COLD..almost numb..i didnt notice for a while..but then when i did i asked was her hand cold too. Nope..anyone else thats watching. Nope. I touched my hand to everyones cheek and they were shocked. My other hand that wasnt on planchette was fine. Does this mean it was evil since u say u feel warmth. Also when ever we go to neighbors house for my kids to hav sleep over thry wanna do the board. We say a prayer..i sage board and room but we always get words that make no sense or it tries to count down. We stop it! I must share this. I've enjoyed every one of Channeling Eric videos I've viewed. There's been so many 'take-aways' I've incorporated in my life. For that, i am so grateful. I've heard in so many videos that joke about how Eric messes with your computer and does this and does that to the detriment of having to go buy another piece of equipment blah blah blah. It was cute I'm watching I dismissed it but go on and listening. Not that I don't believe. It's just that something was just cute..... Until today. While watching this particular video, the socket that everything in the area that I'm sitting in is attached to, plugged into, flipped. Now mind you, before I found that out I had to go outside flip all the Breakers come back inside. ..nothing ...go to all of the switches... flipped them... nothing. No, I had to go all the way back of the garage where all kinds of stuff is in the way to get to this one particular socket JUST to hit the reset. I haven't had to do that in years. So, do I think it was Eric? Do I think it was energies hanging around Eric ? I don't know. So, thanks Eric, if u did visit, I appreciate that you have clearly shown that you're around, but don't do that again! It was a pain in the ass. Lol.

I thought we r never ever suppose to take finger off or u release spirit.? We used it in a haunted factory...my hubbys old job.. and the grandparent to my friend came through. My hand was ICE COLD..almost numb..i didnt notice for a while..but then when i did i asked was her hand cold too. Nope..anyone else thats watching. Nope. I touched my hand to everyones cheek and they were shocked. My other hand that wasnt on planchette was fine. Does this mean it was evil since u say u feel warmth. Also when ever we go to neighbors house for my kids to hav sleep over thry wanna do the board. We say a prayer..i sage board and room but we always get words that make no sense or it tries to count down. We stop it! Or it goes back and forth left to right n..z..o..y..p..x..q..w..r..v.. and we stop it..we heard a count down is bad..also says zozo. Thought zozo was a story to scare kids but idk. I tried switchin up..changing the people on it to change the energy but nope. I tried 2x got these dif results then said we should leave it alone not a good night. But it happened on second sleep over too.. i will try new thing u suggest no shoes rings etc...and sayin exact prayer u say..idk

How about the board from a game of Monopoly with some hand scribbled lettering on the back? Cause conceivably there shouldn't be any difference. It's just that I don't think communicating with spirits is all that simple.
