Ex-Psychic Sounds Alarm Over Bizarre 'Ouija' Tool Pledging to Connect People to Holy Spirit, Jesus

- A new "talking board" has sparked a litany of headlines and warnings from faith leaders. Such occultic tools - the most prominent of which is the Ouija board - are used by some to try and summon the dead.
Many believe these boards are mere fun and games, but Christian experts like ex-psychic Jenn Nizza warn of the spiritual dangers implicit in playing with the Ouija board and other tools like it. The new talking board, though, is even more disturbing, as it promises something different: it pledges to connect Christians to the Holy Spirit and Jesus.
While it's unclear whether the board is an elaborate effort to troll Christians or a ploy to jump on the Ouija bandwagon to bring in cash, Nizza believes there are reasons to be alert and concerned, sounding the alarm more generally on any attempt to communicate with spirits through boards or other devices.
"When [the new board] was brought to my attention, I was brokenhearted, of course," Nizza told "Billy Hallowell's Playing With Fire Podcast." "I felt I immediately needed to sound the alarm on the actual danger of this product, because, although it's marketed as a joke and a game just like the Ouija board is ... it's not at all a game or joke."

My older sisters and their friends played with the board. The board spelled perverted things …telling them to do immoral things to each other. They were sickened and terrified. I was very young at the time but remember the night clearly. They were terrified as they ran from the basement screaming for my mom. My mom made them throw it away and they did but a week afterwards while cleaning out our garage my sisters found the board “reappeared” in there! It was thrown away again by my mom and no one has ever messed with this type of thing again. To this day (approximately 55yrs later) my sisters insist they are telling the truth about this evil board! Today are all born again believers…and my mom is home with the Lord now..THANK YOU JESUS!
I remember back in the 1960s my Older cousins were playing w/ the ouija board, I was still in Grade school then and yes they were experiencing some strange & weird Happenings They got rid of it, I myself would never buy one 😂😂
I believe it my old boxing coach said that he found a Ouija board in his home, and threw it away in the trash. It reappeared in his kitchen he did this twice that’s crazy.
Yes they do come back to you. I got rid of three boards and one would reappear eventually in the strangest ways. The last time, I was shopping at the mall with my daughter and when we came back to my vehicle a board was placed at the driver's side door like a welcome mat. No box, no pointer, just a board. It's demonic.

I went to a party years ago where they had a ouija board and were messing around with it.I watched for a bit but became very frightened when I saw the pointer move by itself.I left the house and sat outside for a while and prayed.Some people there laughed at me saying its just a game.I dont believe it is.There is an unseen world around us and I think there are elements from that realm we dont want coming into ours.

Today in this dispensation of Gentile grace according to the mystery In Ephesians and Colossians, we have a very different relationship with God that has no direct communication with him. Paul warns against seeking it in Colossians 2:18. We are indwelled by the Holy Spirit and he does prompt us to do what is right but if anyone hears voices or sees visions, it’s an indication that they are not yet saved by trusting Christ completely and demons are still hanging around them.
@@dfkuz okay. Thank you. I am in agreement with everything you are saying here, but not sure about the 'dispensation' . Paul himself however had a vision , and heard a voice. I would think that you can't put God in a box. He will do what he wants when he wants to do it. It is up to us to prayerfully consider what has been seen and heard. Does it agree with scripture? Does it tell me to do anything that does not agree with scripture, or with the character of God as revealed in Scripture?
When I was a teen, a friend of mine’s family had bought a Ouija board. Three of us sat around asking it questions. One friend who I was very close to had been adopted. For fun, I asked the board what her middle name was. It started spelling a totally different name than what I knew her middle name to be. She whipped her hands off the board and her eyes grew wide with terror.
The Spirit we had summoned knew her birth middle name and not the middle name I knew her by. So shocking. The family burned the board and we never played with it again. A bit later, I gave my heart to the Lord and feel that we were lucky to have quit using it after one session.

My mother always warned me that the Quija board is not a toy or a game and I should never play with it. She would tell me real horror stories about people who did play with it. Never have, never will.
My youngest daughter found a Ouija board hidden beneath the floor boards of her room in this old house we moved into when she was 15. She still had it when she killed herself 13 years later, at the age of 28. I am positive that her experimentation with that led to other things and eventually her death. That tragedy was the catalyst to my coming back to God after 40 years away from Him. Now I pray for my other two older daughters. If anyone feels compelled to pray for the salvation of my two other daughters, I would greatly appreciate it and I believe all prayers are recorded by God.

Played with a board when I was younger, it told my friend he was going to die at 17 and that I was going to die when I was 42. The kid died when he was 17, he fell off a roof. The day after Xmas, I was 41, I had a heart attack and had the balloon procedure done. The summer of the year I turned 42 I had a tumor the size of a baseball on my ovary. Within days I was in surgery. The Dr. Came in to see me in recovery and told me “ we almost lost you! We gave you 3 bags of blood!” …I am grateful to still be here at 52.

Many many years ago, myself and a group of friends held a seance using an improvised ouija board. We used a glass and letters written on pieces of paper arranged in a circle. Never again. A demonic presence entered the room. The house I was living in at the time became haunted by this thing. Don't do this.
When I was 16, I played with a Ouija Board. It was my first and only time. But it literally changed my life for the worse for the following 16 years. I'm nearly 50 years old and still can't really make sense of my experience. It changed my life, and my view of this world. All I know now is that God is real, and he is in control. And Jesus is our only salvation from the torment that is the reality of this world we live in.

This isn't my story but a friends. His brother came to him saying he used the board and needed help getting rid of it because they were experiencing heavy demonic activity in the house.
They had a bon fire that night so they threw it in the fire but it would no burn, it didn't even get hot. This kept going on and they started taking authority over it and prayed and all of a sudden it exploded. 🙌

As someone who is has never been very woo-woo, or spiritual in the past, I can say from personal experience with a ouija board in my teen years that they are absolutely real and not a game or a gag. My friends and I spoke with something, and it freaked us all out so badly we only used the board the one time. Don't EVER even touch one of the darn things.

One of the major keys to strengthening your discernment is the Word of God. 80% of Christian’s are not consistently in scripture. Consistent - according to the pew research is 4 times per week. That’s anemic! That means only 20% of Christian’s read scripture, on average, 4 days a week. 80% barely read it or not at all. 😢

My friend used to play with one of these boards .She ended up in a Mental Institution for some time.🙏
I used one at the age of 14. I am now 69 years old. On the very night I used it, doors were opened resulting in decades of terrible turmoil, oppression and conflict. NEVER use these boards. When you do, you give authorization to demons to wreck havoc in your life.

There’s a book called “The Devil’s Game”, by Cathlynn Doré Law and Becki Rogers. When you read it, you can see how the author’s mother became possessed, growling and crawling on her hands and knees, from playing with the Ouija Board. Absolutely horrific. This book is a true story.

I've been bothered for a long time about New Age in a lot of churches. Some seem to use Scripture almost as an incantation. The verses are usually about prosperity or healing. They completely skip over the verses about carrying the Cross or endurance.
There's also very cheerful Christian books that mostly draw the women (thinking of one daily devotional specifically) but the problem is they were derived by emptying the mind and waiting for automatic writing. They claim to be Jesus talking but we have the Bible and Holy Spirit. We don't need information gained from automatic writing.

We played with it as kids and it’s was really freaky when the pointer moved without actually touching it. We all knew there was something very taboo about it.
Friend of mine played with the board as a kid and experienced crazy hauntings and poltergeist activity in his childhood home. The activity has followed him his whole life and he’s now 50.

We had this board, but it never worked, ever. I guess those demons knew who I was. My family is still into tarro cards, visiting mediums, astrology even though I told them for years to stop all their witchery. There's an old American proverb that says "NEVER accept tips from mobsters". This principle also applies here. When you engage in this stuff, you are agreeing to a contract, whether you realize or not.
Everything inside you...your thoughts, your free-will, etc, is your jurisdiction. Everything outside of you IS NOT your jurisdiction unless you have obtained it lawfully ( a home for instance). Both of these jurisdictions can be forfeited, with or without your awareness.
When people engage in spirit boards, those entities can portray themselves as a dead relative because they can read the mind of that person using the spirit board....this is how they know about the nick-names mom used to call you, or secrets that only you and that relative knew....they're reading your mind and telling you what you want to hear. And they can do this because they use your energy to communicate with you, because you cannot 'accidentally' use a spirit board. Everyone that uses one does so because they first made a conscious free-will decision to do so. This activity doesn't just open doors inside your inner jurisdiction....it also opens doors to your living environment jurisdiction...and this impacts everyone else living in that environment as well. This is why God told the Israelites not to suffer a witch to live... because of collateral damage.
You should also be wary of Artificial Intelligence. Lots of Christians are being sucked into this....its just a super high-tech Ouija board. You'd do well to stay away from it.

I am wondering about something. When I was younger I played a video game called Banjo Kazooie. There's a haunted house level in which one of the jigsaw pieces (it's a token to be collected to help progress in the game) is collected after playing a ouija board type game. It is completely optional to participate in that and you are not required to use it to win the game. But the question is, even if one says "I will play the video game, but I refuse to partake in any spirit boards or anything of that nature", is the whole game soiled with the demonic? For my part, I have no intention of ever playing that game again.

When we were kids, me and my sister and our cousin thought it would be cool to try out my cousin's Ouija board.. We shut off the lights and had a candle lit and when we started asking questions the plank started moving on its own and the candle blew out. We all started screaming and were terrified to go to sleep. We never touched it or spoke of it again.
I think that the last part of your scary personal life experience should end with, "until now" with either a period or exclamation point. If it was mine to tell I would personally use the exclamation point.
A boy in our 5th grade class brought the board in and at lunch time, with the majority of us refusing to join in, they decided to conjure up an M-16. This was during the Vietnam period so you know why that particular gun was chosen. Those of us who refused to participate believed that we would be safe from the spirit induced damage we knew that it caused and hid behind our desks while peering out at the three boys operating the board. I still remember some of their names but none of us will ever forget what we saw materializing from the board. All of us, except for the three board operators, saw the M-16 starting to become solid while floating about 2 feet off of the board which had been on the floor in the dark and hidden behind desks so teachers wouldn't accidentally see it, and pointing due south right at the center of Jim's chest. Peggy and I think Jane started screaming with a shriek at the top of their lungs which caused the image to melt away a little bit slower than lightning and then we heard the adult footsteps pounding on the floor in the hallway coming our direction. We were the last classroom before the multi purpose room so we had a tiny bit of time to get ready with the excuses. We said we were playing blind man's bluff and Peggy bumped into a desk. We were chased outside since we didn't have adult supervision. We briefly discussed what we saw by quickly comparing notes. We all decided that not only wouldn't this be repeated, but that we shouldn't ever talk about this again. Thanks to you and your experience I was able to recall something that happened 50 years ago. Since then I have helped people bothered by the spirit world and to help free them from the demons.

This is a powerful demonic tool-my much older sister and I played with this at night,in the dark,and were fascinated by how the gadget would move on it's own,sometimes rapidly under our hands-predicting things and verifying things no one could know. My family background was already open to the occult-thank God He had mercy on me and I was searching for Him,too-but believe me I had to repent of using this and be delivered. This brings much oppression and demonic influence in one's life. The 8 ball was a toy we had then,too-also supernatural in it's use. STAY AWAY-pray for children who are hungry for the supernatural that they find Jesus as their fulfillment and excitement-because knowing him rightly is true supernatural experience.

When I was a child my dad brought a ouija board home thinking it was just a game and our family had a bad experience with it. I would never touch one again but can see how people view innocently engage with one. So glad you know Jesus now and know truth.

I made the mistake at 15 to mess with a quija bord and dabled in witch craft ,I didn't know what I was doing but it didn't matter, I was under demonic oppression for over 20 years, I seen a sea of red eyes across the street from my childhood home in a empty field without trees or bushes they were too tall for animals and looked human sets of eyes, I had nightmares every time I fell asleep I became afraid to fall asleep, I slept walked waking up with my hand over a lite gas eye on my stove, I saw shadow entities while being awake, one jumped out in front of a car I was driving, one night I was laying my newborn son down for the night and I was watching a old talk show called Sally and I thought I had heard someone coughing from the audience but by the third time it was much more clear it was a deep respy whisper it was saying my name I forced myself to look and when I did there was a very very tall darker than dark faceless shadow entitie standing in the middle of my hallway with its arms extended wide open I went to wake my son father up and it disappeared, I have been physically pushed out of a tall chair, my husband was woke up by a deep respy man's voice no one was there ,things would grab my feet, my bed would shift like something sitting or getting in my bed and nothing was there, it only been 3 years since it's stopped and it was only when I gave myself fully over to God and took my relationship with God and Jesus more seriously it stopped glory to God

I took a turn down an aisle in a store I never went down to avoid people and found a board sitting by itself on a shelf. Naturally, i bought it. When i got home, I found the box had been opened as there were no instructions as if the board had been returned. I used it alone the first few nights. I was respectful and always ended the sessions with "goodbye." It would comply. The planchette would make figure 8s and run through the numbers back and forth. So I'd say, "goodbye" Eventually it would. One night I woke up and saw a figure standing in the hallway between my bedroom and bathroom. Then within a second, I heard a voice as clear as my own say my name right next to my ear. So I put silver on the board, boxed it and keep it out on a shelf in my room at all times. Since then everything has been fine. There's a ritual for disposing of the boards, but im not going through all that. I just keep it as a friend.
You should get rid of it. Those demons will come back for sure.
I remember when I was 18 and my grandma passed away. I was a Christian but didn’t know the Bible well. I would pray I could see my grandmother but also would pray for that if it was “right”.
I fooled around with ouija board as a teen, with my brother and mutual friend. On the fireplace my grandmother had two heavy statues,a cowboy and a cowgirl. We were at least 15 feet away from the fireplace playing the ouija board, and one of them fell over by itself and broke. Nobody was even close to the fireplace. And these statues were heavy, and we were inside the living room. Since then I have never dabbled with that board.

We even have to watch out for what's being sold in craft stores. Michaels sold a "welcome spirits" wall hanging this past October. In essence, it's a Ouija board but without the alphabet. And although it's supposed to be a wall hanging, a simple planchette could be made for asking yes/no questions.

To address what he has said about people getting offended by him talking about stuff like this - The people dabbling in the occult may not be bad people. They may be loving and caring and have all the best intentions or they may simply just be curious but the truth is they are all very misguided. They do not see what they are doing as something sinful or harmful because they are misguided enough to believe that what they are doing is actually talking to dead loved ones, etc. I've heard people say things like, "Well, the board is made by a well known game board company so it's not harmful." as if it needs to be made by a specific person to have validity. You could make your OWN board and it could work if the intent is there. The maker is of no importance when the intent is to open the doors of communication and when you open the flood gates there is no vetting who comes through.
