- I made this because recently during their online concert while she was singing Turn it up she forgot to sing her part because she got distracted and haters took this chance to make an article to drag her by saying that she uses lipsync. They used a gif on purpose because gifs have no sound but the actual me removed video shows how the backtrack was at every low volume and even though she forgot to sing for a few seconds you can clearly hear her powerful voice after she starts singing. So yeah this is a compilation to make people understand that she's indeed one of the best and most stable vocalists in kpop. Also she has a neck injury but despise that she still sang all her parts with her whole chest. So if you think she can't sing, you're an idiot that is waiting their time.

@ミlia_berryミ as a fan of SM artists, I watch their vlives where there is no chance of autotune and they still sound amazing. Wendy is the best vocalist of the third generation and it is NOT because of autotune or other gimmicks. She trained and worked hard. Idk why you are coming after SM vocalists. They use autotune just like all other idols but if you hear them on vlive, encore stages, etc. they still sound amazing. And what is fake breathing lol and why would they purposely add voice cracks? Like by adding shaky vocals, voice cracks, etc. wouldn't that defeat the purpose cause everyone would just say SM vocalists aren't that good?
@ミlia_berryミ yes Sketchbook uses autotune and that Psycho stage was also not completely live. However, from their concert videos, you can tell they sing live with some backtrack playing. During music shows, the main aspect is the dancing/visuals so almost all groups do not sing live. But if Jeongyeon was in SM, there is no doubt her vocals would be much better than they are now. SM vocalists are top tier because of the in house vocal coaches SM has

It doesn't matter what they say. They can't drag Twice down by pointing out their little mistakes. Jeongyeon is one of the best vocalist of 3rd gen girl groups and she is one of the most stable,confident and decent vocalist in Twice. She has hundreds of great singing videos but only 1 lipsyning video and they try to hurt her with that.

I don't know why I got emotional watching this I miss her and I miss hearing her voice so much it's so heartbreaking that throughout 5yrs of her career she wasn't treated well when it comes to lines, outfits, solo activities and literally everything. Now that Twice started to get better promotions and outfits she's not here to experience it and I hate the fact that they keep covering her parts in every performance sometimes I feel like 😭

Because i can hear that she needs more practice, her vocals most of the time is flat or cracks and lacking of breath. Her voice is great, specially she loves live singing, she just needs more practice.
And low range suits her. MissA and Wonder girls songs suit her than twice songs. Her high note in get loud was great.

This is why i'm so annoyed that it's hard to stan Twice even though i find them likable. Jeongyeon has always been amazing vocally and her singing was consistently praised during Sixteen. everytime JYP commented on the stages he never failed to talk abt how good her singing was. then they debuted and she was obviously pushed to the back to be hidden. getting lines only during last chorus right at the time other member were doing adlib on top of her part. and things haven't gotten much better even now. the only reason people thought she got a good amount would be because she delivered with so much impact that her parts stood out. but seeing all those encore stages made me even more mad. Twice is always criticized for live singing. but they have a member who can sing like Jeongyeon. but of course it won't be noticed...she always get parts when people won't pay much attention anymore other than fans ...imagine if she gets to sing parts that showcase her vocals earlier in the songs, people would have noticed that and realize oh Twice is pretty good at singing live. i noticed when i watched some clips of them doing karaoke and even encore stages,...that many of the members seem afraid to sing(even the ones i thought shouldn't since they don't seem bad at singing). they would do anything to avoid singing seriously. fans can blame it on haters but if they avoid singing live on camera how are they going to improve? i was shook at how little actual singing was involved in the karaoke videos that were quite lengthy, and what shook me more was remembering that i watched rookie idol Woonggi(former TO1, before he was randomly kicked out) having karaoke session by himself for like an hour on vlive and he sang a lottt on his own...mostly girlgroup songs, and he's not even main/lead vocals but he just sang however he wanted to. i'm just shook that 9 members who debuted for awhile collectively sang way lesser than 1 rookie kid in one similar length session) then we have Jeongyeon who always sound eager to sing like really sing in whatever situation be it encore, or just in casual setting like karaoke with the members(even on that show...she seem to pulled back and pretend to mess up after a couple lines...probably to not overshadow others). and how do they make use of her vocal strength to upgrade Twice image as singer and musicality? They don't. which is a dumb move if Twice really want to break away from their existing image as idol singers who aren't taken that seriously for singing. anyway, thanks for the compilation.
I get to know about Twice because of Dahyun but start to love Twice because of Jeongyeon personality off camera whereby helping people and animals and also because of her different voice. Every frickin time listen to her line I get goosebumps and excited.

Best vocalist in Twice, Jihyo might be able to belt higher, but Jeongyeon has such good techique and control, stability.
Jihyo support is better she supports 1 octave and sometimes has shown good C5's.
Her lower register seems fine,not bad not the best.
But Jeongyeon has better vibratto and Pitch accuracy

Out of all who came out of JYP's girl group idols, Jeongyeon's got a voice that would fit power groups. Imagine her in an SM vocal training.

I discover TWICE because of her, to think that I don't like KPOP before. I'm been a fan of TWICE and Jeongyeon as my bias since then, It's been 5 years and TWICE is the only KPOP that I follow.
I love Twice, but Jeongyeon is something different. Her voice is amazing. A lot of people seem to miss or ignore the fact that only Jeongyeons and Jihyos microphones are always turned on and they are the only ones that actually sing live.
Jeongyeon is such a great singer I become Once because of her but kinda sad because JYP doesn't acknowledge her potential I wish she could have more lines that she deserves in their next comeback.

her voice is so beautiful and distinctive from other voices you would usually hear in any kpop group. it’s not too deep or nasally, nor the opposite, it’s very pretty and unique. her voice is addicting. idrk how to describe it but it’s like wanting to just listen to her song for hours on end. i wish jype gave her more lines, even if her voice doesn’t really fit with twice’s cute, high voiced kind of concept.

It's somehow like CL People think she's a soprano because of light voice but she's a mezzo(she is raspy but there is not the fullness/weighted tone most of mezzos have)
Unfortunately her voice is being suppressed because she has deeper and soulful tones and the twice sound is high pitched, that’s the reason why Nayeon gets so much lines never mind that she is the center.
I hope that as they move towards more mature concepts, Jeongyeon becomes the more distinct sound of Twice.
As long as a song is dominated by Nayeon, it will still have the early Twice sound of cute concepts.

But I thought she really have huge potential in her vocal. But after sixteen her ability seems suppress by TWICE concept and at the end I think she lost her confidence sometimes. If only she gets proper chance and training, I believe she will shine brighter and can be a great soloist.
One of the reasons why i think she felt the need of a break... her deep, soulful voice is literally being crushed under Twice's concept that just heavily relies on high notes, high pitch voices...literally high everything 😂...jeongyeon, chaeyoung & tzuyu needs a subunit song that emphasizes on their voice colour better !!!

I’m afraid she’ll never be able to fully showcase her vocal abilities in Twice. It’s been years since debut and she’s still getting minimal parts. Not to mention whenever she gets a chorus line, it’s almost always drowned out by Jihyo and Nayeon shouting nonstop making her vocals seem like background noise. Wishing her a speedy recovery back to good health and hopefully a solo soon 💚
