    Nice Gorman#3. I have 3 of them. Neat set-up, especially the bungies. I will have to look for some of that cord. There is a brand new hammock with bug net sitting on the shelf here. Thank you for all the great ideas, Mark

      @@AdventureTimeOutdoors Sean AKA Shug would probably be a great guy to set around a campfire with. I don't drink so I'd pass on the beer. He is a laid back friendly type for sure though.

    A Blake's hitch or taut line hitch is great for adjustable Ridgeline

    Hello this was a good video sir. I am looking into getting into Hammock Camping since I found some hammocks that will hold a big person like myself. Your modifications will really cool. The hammock look like it is so comfortable to sleep in at night. I like how you have a storage unit in the hammock above the head. I also like the Crocs that you wearing. They are awesome to wear. I have big very very wide feet sz15 6 EEEEEE wide with very fat wide toe that are equally straight across making my foot very very extremely wide. With my toes being equally straight across its making my foot 6 1/2 inches wide from my big toe to my big toe to my little toe. They do not make a shoe, sock , or boot that's wide enough for a foot that is 6 1/2 inches wide. Crocs was the only closed-toed shoe that barely fit on my foot. The only way that I could get Crocs to fit on my foot was I had to cut a section out in the toe box on each Crocs for both of my little toes to hang out of the Crocs to fit comfortably cuz of my toes being too fat and very wide. It look funny & and sometimes embarrassing seeing a fat wide toe hanging out of the Crocs but this was the only way that I could wear Crocs without it crashing and hurting my toes because of it being so wide. It really really sucks having a very extremely wide foot. I have seen some guy
    slightly bigger than me that had narrow feet why do mine have to be extremely wide. I was born with feet , Play around in the neighborhood growing up barefooted 👣 but I never thought I would had to live my life barefooted 👣 Style because of me having extremely very wide feet with fat wide toes. I don't mind being barefoot 👣 but I would like to put on some shoes in the winter time to keep my toes warm. Apologize for being so long but great video sir thank you for sharing your video.

    Thanks for the tips. Have you had any luck with a hammock stand. I am a big guy and am looking for some first hand knowledge of stands

      Na I have looked around for a stand with no luck. Many of them aren't made for +sized models like myself but many are just not long enough for gathered end hammocks. Let me know if you find one.

      @@ATOMark the few I have found don't look all that useful for camping so I am thinking of building my own. I will try to let you know how it goes when I get around to making it

    Never use nylon for hammock straps, or tarps, as it stretches SLOWLY, as you found out.
    Always use Polyester, Mule Tape, or Amsteel!

    • @AdventureTimeOutdoors
      @AdventureTimeOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Lol this stretched really fast. I thought it was polyester according to the description lol after looking again it seemed they put both polyester and nylon. I guess they were trying to cover all basis. The worst thing is they sent me like green ones first so I complained. They said they would replace them if I returned the green ones at my cost! So I smeared them in a review. They sent me the right webbing if I agreed to remove my review. Last thing I buy from China.
