    Can you test this camera on a crawl space or any dark space? I do site survey for solar and some homes do not have an access to the attic and my job required to take a photo of the rafter/trusses. Most of the borescopes are not bright enough for a decent photo.

    I do love that Super Rod has released one on top of the Super Rod Ferret partnership they had and a month later Ferret release a full range.
    I think I'd be inclined to get the Plus just because of the volt stick feature. I don't like Volt sticks as a general rule but the times I want one it's normally exactly the situation the Ferret Plus is designed for.

      The onboard memory is also a great feature on the plus!

    I’m in two minds weather to buy the Ferret Lite or CK Mighty Scope. But there’s not many reviews of the scope yet :/

    They are a good bit of kit. I've got the plus model... Great for fishing cables out of the ceiling if the plasterer has screwed you over. Have found the range to be little bit smaller that I'd like though. Would have been much nicer for identifying points on an EICR when solo if the range was better.

    Is the picture good enough to detect wet wood? I've got an intermittent leak on a new roof. Need to find the source but the attic has limited space. The leak is maybe 20-30ft from attic access.

    Whats the different with the ferret sweep?

    • @Tools4Sparks
      @Tools4Sparks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The Sweep is IP67 Rated and designed for dusty and more lengthy environments. It’s incudes a signal booster so you can reach places like a tall chimney. More information here - uk.ferrettools.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/Ferret-Sweeps-Product-Information.pdf

    Do these Ferret’s connect to RunpoSticks, as been looking at these but I can not tell if these do.

    • @PSFElectrics
      @PSFElectrics 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Can you do a demo with connecting these to different rods including the runpo sticks?

    • @Tools4Sparks
      @Tools4Sparks  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey, we haven't tried them on the RunpoSticks yet but 99% sure they would fit! We'll try to make a video to compare all the different options.

      Hi PSF Electrics, we will answer this for Jordan. We supply a set of thread adaptors so you can use your Ferret camera with the most well-known rod sets. Email us at support@ferrettools.com and we can send you full details of the thread sizes of our adaptors.

      @@Tools4Sparks I did wonder as to when I was at the CEF 18th 2nd edition there was a Super Rod stand and they had a different camera.
