I just started, I played FS for the last time in 2018 (Played FS15) and I loved that game. I got some knowloge from it but as I was new I didn't know much, just the basics. Now I'm into FS 19 and I'm loving it, might be one of my best games.
I love how you put all your implements away neatly. When I'm done with something, I drop it on the ground where ever and then go looking for it on the map when I need it again 😂

I can honestly say you've helped me get my farm started on fs19, I took about a year and a half hiatus cause I couldnt get the production that I wanted, found you video about animals and my production sky rocketed, not quite 10 fold but pretty close.

Thanks for the help. As another PS Plus free downloader. I felt like the tutorial in the game didn't really cover a lot of the nuts and bolts. By the time I put my second crop down it was 100% weeds. Now I know.
Thanks man, i am new to the game and now i have some ideas on how to begin farming. At the begging i didn't know what was the difference between cultivating and sowing, but now i dont know too, i just got some ideas of what it could be, and i thought that plowing and cultivating are the same thing because you just dig the soil. So yeah , the problem on me was more on the cultivating and understanding it, i hope i will get the full idea soon:)).
lol - Plowing is a deep dig that turns over the dirt and brings nutrients to the top of the soil. The issue with plowing is that it also dries out the dirt so you should only plow like once every 3 or 4 crops. Cultivating is breaking up the soil so that the planter can plant the seeds more evenly. Imagine trying to plant seeds on dry dirt - it can be rock hard, so you need to cultivate it to break it up and soften it. Hope that helps.
Yes, at the beginning I show that little bottom right hand corner field status screen - that tells you everything. The map also can be set to show you field status.

Lol - yes - The map I use in this video is a great hobby farm map (Campain of France). Its available on console and PC. Also, pretty much any polish map will have great small farming potential. Hope that helps!

Any stage - once they go to "ready to harvest", its all the same. As a side note, when making corn into silage you can chaff it on the last growth stage and get more chaff that way.

Sorry, I just saw this (been super busy IRL) You will need to buy a seed container pallet from the shop and then pull up next to it with the seeder. You will then press the left joystick and that will cause the seeder to magically "suck" the seeds from the pallet into the seeder. Then your ready to pick your crop type and go seed. You can either buy a baler and bale it, then load it onto a bale trailer and sell it OR using a "loading wagon", skip baling it and just sell the loose straw - either way gets you the same money - here is my video on all the types of baling and collecting in the game. With leasing, do you always want to return it immediately after you are done using it or will that start to add up for more common implements? Is it best to just purchase commonly used equipment? P.S. I watched your first part entirely, as well as watching this one through... I think you did a great job! just got this game.
Leasing is charged hourly by usage - so it only charges you for actual usage time. There is also a once daily charge, usually about 1/3 of the initial cost. I would suggest owning the equipment that you use most of the time and only leasing things like a spreader or plow, that only get used periodically. I honestly don't lease too much anymore, because things like harvesters can cost so much to lease that they eat all the profits.
Yo Arthur!! You really helped me out in this game and know i basically know everything, but there is one thing i need to know. If i have a grass field, should i use that grass to make silage and sell it or should i make bales and sell them? idk which one would be more effective
Sunflower does not require any plowing, but with corn its - plow, cultivate, plant, fertilize, harvest and then repeat - also true for potatoes, Sugar Cane, and Sugar Beets - Sugar Cane regrows though, so just leave it - don't keep replanting it.
Great video thank you! I just have 2 quick questions ;) 1. Do you have to use solid fertiliser and liquid fertiliser or could I just do two passes of liquid fertiliser? 2. Can I fertilise before I plant and then fertilise after I have sowed the seeds? I’m guessing that that would count towards 100% fertilisation as it’s at two different stages. Thank you again :) - Edit just realised I can use the same type of fertiliser I watched the video back lol. So don’t bother answering the first question 😂
Yes, you can fertilize once per "growth stage", at any "growth stage". anything after harvest counts as a growth stage, so you could technically harvest, fertilize, plow or cultivate, fertilize and be all done before you even seed. You could also seed oil seed radish and then cultivate it under for a stage of fertilizer. That is what oil seed radish is for. Hope that helps :)
right and left on the control pad will let you jump between equipment when you in the cab of one of you pieces of machinery. But you have to be in cab of one vehicle first, then jump to the next.
If you were plowing, you wouldn't want to throw plowed soil on top of soil that still needs to be plowed. So, plow needs to be opposite of what you did, both direction.

Hey man, i was wondering if after you plowed you really have to cultivate and then seed, or that you can just skip the cultivating. Cause you said your doing some stuff just for the simulation, so i wondered if this is really needed. And if it is, does it like bring the profit up just a bit more? I just downloaded this game for free on Ps4 and having hard time trying to transport bigbags of seeds or fertilizer etc to my farm. What equipment should i use?
May be a suggestion for the helpful tips - there are some crops that are easier in that you can hire help. Wheat and Bailing for example, you can hire someone to cut down the wheat but the bailing is entirely manual as is the rest of what comes with bails. Soybeans can be 100% hired help. Guess Im trying to say when I started this game a few years back, it had a steep learning curve. One thing that wouldve made it easier for me wouldve been knowing what the AI can assist with to help automate things without having to know all of the 'hieroglyphics' in-game. Sure wish they would have put names under the symbols when trying to figure out what trailers haul what, what crop symbols are what, etc. Also, the puzzle pieces - I had no clue what that meant. Took me a dozen hours to figure out that meant it works / needs another component. Just trying to help provide you with info that a newb couldve use a long time ago. Learning when to plow, when to fertilize, hard or liquid, etc. Cant tell you how much money I wasted throwing down fert or lime at the wrong time.
cant explain it all. if someone wants to know it that badly they will learn in. Ive spent a lot of tuition money on the school of learn it yourself university :)
I used to have guides for all of that on 17 - kinda dropped the ball on 19 as life got busy - will pick it up again when 21 comes out - the shop guide is a great idea too!

Lol, I don't farm at all myself (I barely keep my garden weeded) but I do have lots of farmer friends who I am always asking questions.
What do you use for wheat fields fertilizer? My game doesn't let me load the pallet of fertilizer into that k105 spreader
You'll have to use "solid fertilzier" - it sounds like you are trying to put "liquid fert" In the spreader. Let me know if that works.

Ah - you don't have to fill it. Just drive your seeder next to it and press the left joystick in - it will bring up the loading menu.

Its about the same, but you can't just run around chopping trees down - you have to own the land first, so its much harder to survive.
Do you have a video on the landscaping part? If not can you do one for ps4? Like how to use the stuff and what they Do?

I have a question, can you cultivate land that has not been initially plowed, for crop like wheat, barely and other grain crop?
Absolutely - some seeders even cultivate as you plant, like the stara and vaderstadt!

Those are part of the "global company" mod - they are a mod called global company icons.

Btw, would you recomend starting out Silviculture with a telescopic crane and something to carry lumber? I did in ps3 and it worked pretty well.
i.e Timber runner, MLA-T 553-145 V+ and that claw for truncks that goes with it.

Just be aware that you have to buy the land to chop the trees down on it. You can't just run around the map anymore, cutting down any tree.

If you want the best results, yes. If you just don't care and only want 50 percent yeild - just cultivate and seed.

Yes lol - to help things along, you can speed up time to 120x. It takes about 3 game days for them to grow on normal mode.

its called the replenishment container and is a certified mod that is in the in game mod hub. Its a GREAT mod.
So at the lat field when it was leaving straw while you were harvesting. How do you put that into bales and then sell it to make extra money?
You can either buy a baler and bale it, then load it onto a bale trailer and sell it OR using a "loading wagon", skip baling it and just sell the loose straw - either way gets you the same money - here is my video on all the types of baling and collecting in the game. With leasing, do you always want to return it immediately after you are done using it or will that start to add up for more common implements? Is it best to just purchase commonly used equipment? P.S. I watched your first part entirely, as well as watching this one through... I think you did a great job! just got this game.
Leasing is charged hourly by usage - so it only charges you for actual usage time. There is also a once daily charge, usually about 1/3 of the initial cost. I would suggest owning the equipment that you use most of the time and only leasing things like a spreader or plow, that only get used periodically. I honestly don't lease too much anymore, because things like harvesters can cost so much to lease that they eat all the profits.
So for grain type crops, do you have to plow and lime after every harvest to get the most yield?

Yo Arthur!! You really helped me out in this game and know i basically know everything, but there is one thing i need to know. If i have a grass field, should i use that grass to make silage and sell it or should i make bales and sell them? idk which one would be more effective
silage bales are most effective
if i want to seed sunflower or corn how many times should I plow? tell me step by step
Sunflower does not require any plowing, but with corn its - plow, cultivate, plant, fertilize, harvest and then repeat - also true for potatoes, Sugar Cane, and Sugar Beets - Sugar Cane regrows though, so just leave it - don't keep replanting it.

1. Do you have to use solid fertiliser and liquid fertiliser or could I just do two passes of liquid fertiliser?
2. Can I fertilise before I plant and then fertilise after I have sowed the seeds? I’m guessing that that would count towards 100% fertilisation as it’s at two different stages.

Yes, you can fertilize once per "growth stage", at any "growth stage". anything after harvest counts as a growth stage, so you could technically harvest, fertilize, plow or cultivate, fertilize and be all done before you even seed. You could also seed oil seed radish and then cultivate it under for a stage of fertilizer. That is what oil seed radish is for. Hope that helps :)

Just started playing on ps4 and I have a question,is there a way to fast travel? Its usually to get my tractor at the store.
right and left on the control pad will let you jump between equipment when you in the cab of one of you pieces of machinery. But you have to be in cab of one vehicle first, then jump to the next.

If you were plowing, you wouldn't want to throw plowed soil on top of soil that still needs to be plowed. So, plow needs to be opposite of what you did, both direction.

Yes - rent an actual plow - attach it and then select (allow create fields) from the menu - that will allow you to destroy the barrier between fields.
Hey man, i was wondering if after you plowed you really have to cultivate and then seed, or that you can just skip the cultivating.
Cause you said your doing some stuff just for the simulation, so i wondered if this is really needed. And if it is, does it like bring the profit up just a bit more?

Yes, you can skip cultivation if you like - its not realistic, but you can.
I just downloaded this game for free on Ps4 and having hard time trying to transport bigbags of seeds or fertilizer etc to my farm. What equipment should i use?
Grab the cheapest tipper and turn it into a flatbed trailer - then just use a loader to load it up.

May be a suggestion for the helpful tips - there are some crops that are easier in that you can hire help. Wheat and Bailing for example, you can hire someone to cut down the wheat but the bailing is entirely manual as is the rest of what comes with bails. Soybeans can be 100% hired help. Guess Im trying to say when I started this game a few years back, it had a steep learning curve. One thing that wouldve made it easier for me wouldve been knowing what the AI can assist with to help automate things without having to know all of the 'hieroglyphics' in-game. Sure wish they would have put names under the symbols when trying to figure out what trailers haul what, what crop symbols are what, etc. Also, the puzzle pieces - I had no clue what that meant. Took me a dozen hours to figure out that meant it works / needs another component. Just trying to help provide you with info that a newb couldve use a long time ago. Learning when to plow, when to fertilize, hard or liquid, etc. Cant tell you how much money I wasted throwing down fert or lime at the wrong time.
cant explain it all. if someone wants to know it that badly they will learn in. Ive spent a lot of tuition money on the school of learn it yourself university :)

I used to have guides for all of that on 17 - kinda dropped the ball on 19 as life got busy - will pick it up again when 21 comes out - the shop guide is a great idea too!
