Ok, something is bothering me. Lovely guitar but the reflector knobs are the cheaper one with the top of the reflector knob being „brushed silver“ instead of the mirror like silver in the high end reflector knobs.
I wonder why the Klusons aren't aged at all. They look snow white. I realize VOS is just a very light aging to take the shine off, but you would think the tuners would at least be darkened a bit. I am huge Gibson Custom Shop fan so I am not trying to be critical here.
I used to own a 2008 LP traditional. Never minded the neck profile (rounded 50s) until I got my CS 1960 G0. My hands don't ache so much anymore lol. It's less that it's SLIMMER and more that it doesn't have those terrible shoulders, if that's the right term. It's probably as tick as my traditional, but it's definitely less beefy around where the neck meets the binding. Also I think the 60s neck allows for less bass frequencies and thus results in a more bright/articulate sound overall. I prefer it to the stereotypical "fat" PAF tone. It's like a ballsier tele.

After getting my 1960 G0 I CANNOT GO BACK to the USA line. I had a 2008 LP traditional that I got back in 2008. Few months ago I bought a CS 1960 G0......SOLD the traditional so fast. The sound is definitely superior on my reissue but the FEEL and PLAYABILITY are what sold me. It's unreal!
MrVegiita put simply, its a Gibson Custom shop 1960s Les Paul reissue made exclusively for guitar center. Guitar Center 1960 Reissue, G0. Its a real deal 1960s reissue from the Custom Shop except they come with a PLAIN TOP like a 58 reissue. At least the early ones did, now ive seen some with flame tops.
@@christophercortez7191 thanks for that info. I checked reverb and see several up for around $3000 to $3500. The VOS reissues are $6499 so the G0 looks like a great buy👍🏻

So my dream guitar was always an R9 or R0 LP but with a Plain Top which to my knowledge was an impossibility. But then my guitar showed up on Reverb and I was astounded.
I agree. He could have dialed in a bit more bass and cut the treble back as the amp is pretty mid-scooped. The Custombuckers are unpotted, so they are naturally brighter as well which can make things seem harsh. Its a great sound to have for a mix though, but on its own I would go for a warmer and fuller sound.

Beautiful!! I played a real 60 burst and the burst was almost identical but with a less… uniform… flame pattern.

The VOS finish is how ALL Gibson guitars should come, stock. It just looks RIGHT.
Very good clean tone, but I cannot accustom to slim taper neck.

I’m guessing this isn’t the V1 since you have a separate video for that. So is this one the V2 or V3?
