I get lost a 1:20 and I so need this to work. I am using the Cloud version. I follow the steps and when I click on the 'Blue Copy' I do not see the marching ants around the edges or on the subject like it does in your video and if I click on the letters RGB I get the colour image but no masking ants (no selection). Am I doing something wrong? TIA

This really only works if you have a solid or close to solid background.
Removing the hair from the background is conditional as it depends the most on what kind of background you have, drawing the missing hair with the pen tool will give probably the optimal result

Any idea how to remove the color bleed on the edges that seeped in from the background? Not casted light onto the edge, but the background color 'stuck' on the cutout edges.

depends on what background you are placing the hair on. for darker background using blending mode multiply, make a copy and delete the multiply effect from everywhere except the edges of the hair. if its a brighter background using blending mode screen and do the same.
