    The concept of respawns is interesting. I would keep the +/- points for kills at a minimum and focus the more points on controlling territory. Keeping domination paired with hardcore deathmatch mode inherently results in lopsided battles as one team has more ships than the other. By keeping ships even throughout the match at least gives a team that is losing ground a chance to mount a come back.

    WG seems to have locked in the strategy of milking the remaining playerbase until it dies off and then probably blaming the players for quitting and killing the game. Probably ends up like world of warplanes, just a placeholder that barely anyone plays.
    When you go to CC summit, have fun times with the other CCs, but don't expect to get an audience with any of the people in WG who *actually* call the shots. You'll be talking to the devs who just execute the vision of the higher ups (or get fired) and the PR stooges, no one else. So make sure to relax and treat it as fun time meet up with your fellow CCs basically.
    Respect to you for still caring when most have given up. Don't burn yourself out and have fun when and where ever you can.

    Change your load out at the start of each match, AA defence when it’s the one match in ten without a CV…

      Was gonna sugest a class system, your idea on mind, but prolly end up being too random and chaotic... Honestly don't think would add up to the game(?)

    Bring back asymmetrical battles! Make it a permanent mode. Wows has way more pve players than they know, or want to admit.

    Two ways I can think of how to improve the game is fixing the matchmaker and improving the in-game economy.
    For fixing the matchmaker, literally just make it +1/-1 instead of +2/-2. It’s way too oppressive to be double uptiered for any ship. The power scale from t7 to t9 is especially large, and it just isn’t fun to play t7 ships (partially because t7 a just have a track record of being bad ships, but it’s mostly because of the unfair matchmaker).
    For fixing economy, just give more credits, commander xp and fxp per match for every gamemode. I’m a f2p player. I’ve barely spent any money on the game. But because of that it’s a slog to go through a tech tree with gray and green boosters. Not to mention if a player is new enough, they may not have hardly any boosters through their entire first tech tree and end up spending over 40 hours getting their first t10. Then you factor in superships, and no casual player will ever be able to buy, let alone play one regularly enough. Last time I played a supership was Satsuma after I first bought it. I slotted a blue credit booster on it, got a 177k game, and came out with a 12k credit loss. I haven’t touched a supership since in any gamemode because they just aren’t worth the trouble. Not to mention with 21 point commanders needing 1 million xp for their last two points. It’s a slog to get to 19 points, let alone 21. WG has also nerfed xp economy for all ship types, especially battleships and carriers. It’s almost not worth going through bb and cv lines anymore because you make barely any credits, (f)xp, and commander xp from them anymore. I recently grinded up to Montana because I’ve been putting it off, and the first game I played (with a green booster and premium time) was a 140k game with only an 80k credit profit. I haven’t touched Monty since despite liking the way it plays because it’s just not worth it putting in so much effort for so little profit.
    Bottom line is, grinding as a f2p isn’t fun and it’s especially bad to constantly be double uptiered while doing so. Fixing these two things would drastically increase player retention. Nobody wants to make a game their second full time job. We’ve seen that with World of Tanks and War Thunder - the economy is so bad that their player retention is immediately cut just from constantly blocking progression through either microtransactions (premium time and other such boosters) or winning a match and finding that they only have 2% of the needed xp and 0.5% of the needed credits.

    As far as player retention I think the biggest thing is tweaking Matchmaking, having it take into consideration radar and hydro. I've seen many matches where one side seems to get all the radar etc.
    Some other things that I'd like to see addressed that are more general improvements to the game etc are:
    I don't think they have followed through with fixing underwater features around islands as well as new maps.
    I'd also like to see improvements to Captain managment, like a screen you can go into similar to the port for ships.
    Improve training rooms so that you can actually reconfigure your ship and captains from within the training room.
    I also feel the like there could be a lot of other interface improvements outside of matches, the in game communications for messaging are extremely lackluster compared to most games.

      I thnk the biggest gripe is matchmaking tbh . Example : from one day where I played 9 ranked Games and had a 67% WR to the next when I played 11 ranked matches and had a Winrate of 45% . despite doing more average damage than during the 9 where I had 66+% . Something similar happened to my WR in Randoms . Over the last 600 games, it went DOWN by 5% . I have not become a worse player .
      In my experience, it does not really matter whether I play well, or not . I am serially ( meaning one after the other after the other, often 6, 7, 8+ Games in a Row ) being put in teams that just can't win, no matter what I do .

    1. Sub-rework:
    I don't think I need to go into all the details to emphasize that subs, in their current state and with all their abilities, are a powerful tool, even in the hands of weak players.
    It's not just talking about the things that are written on a piece of paper, but just the fact how the entire dynamic changes as soon as a sub pings happily on one flank.
    2. Ranked Rework:
    2.1. In order to provide a little more balance, WG's ship selection should be narrowed down. In other words, you can only enter a ranked battle with certain ships. If you don't own these ships, you can rent them for a season (for credits, doubloons, etc.). This would give your own playing strength more weight.
    2.2. The players must be forced to perform, i.e. to play well, in order to receive the reward at the end. How do you achieve this? You reward individual performance and not that of the team. At the end, the best players from both teams should receive a star. It can't be that players with a 40% WR and a terrible PR end up in the "highest" league and receive the same rewards as players who have actually earned it and just because they apparently have the time to fight hundreds of battles within a few days to play. #Addition: This would also remove the salt when battles don't go well, as it is up to each player whether they are rewarded for their performance or not.
    2.3. No subs and cvs in ranked!
    3.Random battles:
    In order to guarantee that battles are not decided after 5 minutes, skill-based MM is required. This does not mean that Unicums can only play against Unicums, but that there is an equal distribution for the players currently in the queue
    . For this purpose, the number of battles played and the player's average performance should be taken into account.
    4. Bring back the grind!
    New players these days just need to open their wallet and they can play tier ten. Where does this create a natural learning curve when inexperienced players quickly progress to tiers, thereby reducing the quality of battles and ultimately the gaming experience?
    5. WarGaming itself:
    The WoWs development studio is not doing itself any favors by trying to get money out of players' pockets with aggressive monetization. As a player you feel like a cash cow being milked. If you wanted, you could invest (waste) hundreds of euros or dollars every month on this game. But what you get for it is just ridiculous. What does WarGaming do with all the money? Develop new maps? No! New game modes that also appeal to the general public? Not really! No, it develops subs that have collectively worsened the gaming experience and that's just the tip of the iceberg.
    6. Karma system: If players receive a -1 for good play because the other person is frustrated, then you should think about how this system represents added value.

    Not going to comment on stuff like MM, CV/Subs, and maps because everyone brings those problems up
    1. Remove stats - Every time WG introduces a temporary PvP you often hear people say it's nice to play without caring about stats.
    2. WG can do better bringing back old ships - Imagine being a brand new player and being told the only way get certain famous ships like Missouri, Belfast and Enterprise ( Yes, I know WG is working on that ) is by spending thousands of dollars. A few will open their wallets but most like having a fair shot at obtaining things.
    This also extends to cosmetic flags as well. Like I don't understand why WG gate keeps old flags behind a stupid container. Imagine celebrating a ship's launch date by having a combat mission for its flag.

      1. Remove stats: Every player can already hide their stats for third parties. Generel removing stats will not improve the overall gaming experience and attract more players. You won't find a comparable game where this is the case, and for good reasons. Just imagine the effort that large clans have to put into bringing new players into the team.
      More players would do shit for “fun”. In the end, random battles would look like coop battles.
      2. bringing back old ships: I completely agree! It's just a shame how these ships are artificially held back and then packed into the arsenal years later for a lot of money.

    Weekly 1v1 with WR recorded in your profile summary. Each week a 1v1 for a particular class and tier from 5-Super. Ie, Week One, Tier 7 Destroyers, WeekTwo, Tier 8 Battleships, etc. Your WR and number of matches played are recorded in its own section. This will be extremely fun and a true indicator of ones skill level. They could also make rental ships available for that class and tier from ships available in the store and a discount after you played it if you liked it. It would bring players back sick of the toxicity in randoms and ranked. I've been playing this game since the beginning and still love it. Kiwibandit NA

    Also one more thing, New players should not be able to play high tier ships in Random and Rank till they reach certain numbers of battles, so basically every tier requires certain numbers of battles to be able to play and preferably if they should obtain certain WR, DMG or similar of some lines for example 5 out of 20 line before they can move to next tier after they completed certain amount of battles, of course they can buy any tier ship and play it in any game mode aside from Random and Rank.

    The Most important thing besides one sub and one CV limit to one is the up tier in match making is should be limited to +/- 1 only not 2 tier up like what it is now, and preferably tier 7 should not be uptiered at all due to lake of range, HP and gun power between tier 7 and 8.😢

    My first match of the day yesterday had 2 cv's, 2 dd's and 3 subs per team it was tier 8, I wanted to alt F4 and just go play a different game that's fun instead. I think the best thing they could do is start making changes to allow more aggressive play viable again. the worst thing about playing now compared to 5-6 years ago is everyone sitting back at max range spamming each other with HE. Every class has a reason to play passive now, BB's die to fast from high dps HE spam and fires, CA's die to fast to over match, DD's die to fast from spotting mainly from plane spotting. so people just play passive and it sucks for gameplay.

    Pretty simple, the game needs to feel Fair and Rewarding again.
    Fair - quicker response and more open about bugs, like the various aiming ones.
    Fair - Aircraft Carriers and Submarines. They have been out of step for so long, I don't believe WG is capable of fixing them, so why should me as a player still have confidence? Or maybe they just don't want to, so we keep getting endless PR cycles where they are talked about but never really impacted. Benchmark for this one? To see carriers and subs to be Fair in Clan Battles and KoTS.
    Fair - For matchmaking, the ship roles are often not well balanced. Hybrid BBs, Radars, and DD styles (low-conceal vs high-conceal) are the main ones I am seeing, but there may be more. As an aside, I don't mind about skill-based, as I don't need every game to be down to the last moment in randoms.
    Rewarding - yes, the economy was broken and WG have had a lot of expenses, but so many things in the game are now expensive and cash-grabby.
    Rewarding - genuine progression and achievement beyond just another ship line (to be fair, the new ship lines are decent and interesting, without the power creep of other games, so that is good). In other games, there is a story or your character(s) to care about. I recognise the web campaigns feel like they are trying to fill that gap, but still missing the mark.

      Fair and rewarding is important, but to me, at the moment it comes down to "Its mostly not FUN anymore to play"....just beacuse of all the mnetioned Issues . MM, botting, Matches where up until 4, 5 mins I think" ah, that is going surprisingly well" and then *boomboomboom* within 2 mins, my Team looses 5 ships . "HighTier" operations that are lost in ways that suddenly explain to me how it is that so many "HighTier" randoms are utter BS matches ( simply put, people sitting in TX, T* not having a single clue what to do with them) etcetcetc .
      I do not have Ideas how any of this could be adressed . Its just...lately, playing WoWs is mostly not fun anymore really .

    One point for Wargaming to improve the game is to make match making that suit ship role / playstyle. So now match making is more like oh you have this ship type at this level, here is the match... This system is not very ballance at all. I hope wargaming can make it similar to other's moba game where you get match make based on your role. For example some people can play as Yamato and sign them up as sniper / support role which will allow the match making match them to for example a Ohio that is sign themself as Sniper ships. This make people that join match making clarify before what you want to do in the match then inside the match they can do what they want and get the match making match them to the correct match with similar player, not like you put a sniper BB inside a match full of Bralwer then that Sniper get rushed. I mean wargaming can just let people choice / state what they want to do in the match then let them match make into a battle with similar people that have that play style.

    PVE modes! Historical battles!
    Using T2-T3 ships, with larger HP and better stats, reenacting late 19th/early 20th century battles, like the Ruso-Japanese or the Spanish-USA? Or some in the likeness. Give a second use to those early tiers once in a while

    Lately wg has been adding alot of gimmicks to world of tanks that remind me of all the gimmicks thy have in this game like charging up a buff by doing damage or in tanks by spotting. I think these gimmicks stink, they might do better trying to add a touch of realism to their game. Also goofy looking skins for ships and tanks don't interest many players.

    Ship design: WG has recently become high on glass cannon design with poor overall armor, especially against the Satsuma and the like. Ships have to reward positioning, broadsiding has to be suicidal. Angling has to help.

    Two thoughts:
    1. Let's agree that subs and CVs don't work in Randoms. We already assume that in Ranked and CBs. WG should have to come up with game modes where they do work, where they are fun. Until then, get them out of randoms.
    2. I liked the sub op they had when they first introduced subs. I would love to see sub and CV focused ops where you could have some fun learning your craft without your karma taking a -22 hit. Even better if they can come up with some fun sub and CV focused PvP modes (Atlantic shipping lanes, Midway, ...).

    1. Bring back asymetrical battle keep it permant
    2. Operatioms bring the ship ypu are proctecting up to a higher tier, like the ranger escort one
    3. Bring up co op experience higher to match randoms, people just want to chill and have relaxing time
    4. Bring in a japeness secondary
    Battle ship that actual is a proper secondary ship
    5. Add people on the ship to make it more true to a ship, its kinda wierd seeing your anti air guns fire but there no humans running around.

    Just now approaching 1k hours invested in this game, so I'm fairly new. Biggest dislike per my 4 or 5 friends I've tried to get attached to the game is the grind to unlock ships, tiers 1-5 seem to be the least enjoyable for them. Game play is too slow per their feed back, especially when they want to do a brawl with me for the week in the tier 7-10 frame.
    Only other suggestions, as I'm also an die hard dota player with 10k hours invested.... do a Turbo mode, everything is double the speed essentially, this might help lower tiers atleast.
    I wouldn't mind seeing more ship customization options, such as what if I want to invest in Armor upgrades for my ships with secondary builds, I love playing the schlieffen but its tanking ability is limited I feel like sometimes, when I really just want to take the role of a distraction while my clan mates with larger cannons aim for the citadel hits.
    Better balance of captains too would be great, I'm a sucker for captains with perks, I think a wider variety of captains with diff perks would be huge and shouldnt be overly difficult to implement. I feel like German Coal/Dubloon captains easily got the best bonuses, so I typically play those ships as I feel I'm at an advantage.

    Gun bloom detectability should be a function of the caliber of the guns, and number of guns firing, not the ship

    Superships made matches much more one sided and even made matchmaking worse by forcing matches when player numbers are low.
    The worst thing WG has done yet in my opinion.

    Fun thoughts, require CVs to be doing 25 knots in order to launch aircraft. No CV lanches planes parked behind an island.
    Require subs to remain pointed at ship or lose homing lock

    remove detonations and permanent disabling of ships weapons, secondaries and AA. If CVs can have infinite planes and can't be detonated (despite that happening to a LOT of them in history) then I see no reason any other the other ships should have it. give battleships back their teeth to defend against DDs and for fucks sake give BBs some immunity time from fires! its way, way, way too easy to set fires on BBs and yet people bitch and moan about BBs hiding in the back of the map, sniping at each other. cut the CD time of their DCP by half and give a small window of immunity from status effects. Fix SAP. every ship that has it a main weapon has suffered when they got nerfed into the ground because of DD complaints

      and stop punishing people trying to do things like dockyard missions in Operations. it's not fair it was excluded in the first place and it's not fair that it gets halved, because we don't want to play competative

    In the 1 min where everyone is spawned in excluding those playing from the ISS but before "ALLE MANN AUF GEFECHTSSTATION!" - let there be a teamchat and ability to pick 1/3 regular spawns to spawn in first at. If somebody is afk/doesn't decide, the game picks a spawn for them like normal. Adds something to do after clicking "Battle!" and queueing. You won't know if the sub is on your side all the time. Surprise cancer.

    More than 1 minute on ship inacitvity: swap that player out for a new ship from queue with bonus for joining a match in play.

    +1/-1 Tier MM. Reduce from 12 v 12 to 10 v 10. Defined composition limits (Max: 1CV, 2Sub, 3DD, 4CA/L, 4BB). This would be a good start.

    I still don’t understand why planes are allowed to drop torps on land and they still make it out to the water. I’m not sure how often this happens but it should be zero.

    They also need to work on the match making dividing team based on WR, Experience and PR equally as we as dividing Radar crusiers and DDs type like gun boat DDs or torp DDs, and in brawl the PS of having team with 2x dds and the other team with no DD and same applies for BBs or radar crusiers.

    I think there are inherent problems with the game design.
    This is a team game and you need ships and players to perform certain roles. Players not performing the role and/or ships unable to, creates natural frustration. The latter can be argued for with gameplay diversity which I also tend to agree.
    Unlike wot, +2/-2 is really punishing. You can do significant damage to higher tiers easier but you also can be completely shut out of the game much more easily. Overmatch is rampant. T10 is the only tier worthwhile. It's not uncommon to have a t1 -> t10 grind where only the t10 is of value. This is a problem for retention. Why would anyone invest tens or hundreds of hours just to maybe have fun with the t10. At the end of the day you might end up not even liking it and then it all feels a waste of time.
    CVs and to some extent subs make the game feel really bad. CVs spot, damage and are many times faster (both sailing and planes) and somewhat tankier than many other ships. Can smoke, can kite, can angle, have best asw, dcp which goes for super long, can spot, can damage. I mean...
    If a sub decides to chase you, you're kinda SOTL. There's not much you can do about it. There are still some ships with 4km airstrikes.
    For me at least, I play once or twice a year, until I get a day full of carrier matches and then I ragequit for another 6m+.

      I agree, though I think they need to make dds less common also, and make it to where bbs and cas can spot them with the asw planes. They should also nerf cv plane spotting and fix the glitch with Lexington's bombers to where you drop, but the timer stays and you can't return to the ship

    1. Remove subs & cv from the game , that would bring back veteran player .
    2. Make ANY event inclusive ! , as now in armory there are events that F2P players that are majority of player base can't be included !
    3 . Remove !!! WR !!! , as that is also a factor for players , mostly older people who wont play random because they are afraid of "uniclum" & seal clubbing , and face it we all care about WR , and that suck as going to battle we care more about wining and not having fun !
    4. Make order in game and perma ban players that are toxic ! :
    - Flamu got 7 day ban because he used wows for his "perversion" = he played with some cards that chat choose and he done what ever those cards said , and that sucks in random when you team mate start to do some weard shit , just ban player who dont play game !
    - I had few weeks back in ranked DM.Donskoy (clanless) player in ranked that started to bi1ch in chat , and then have went A1 and back up slowly , we played without that player ! ,he should get removed from game !
    - I dunno what I did , but when I was in port someone have written massage to me , that "will kill me in real life" ...
    Introduce perma ban , and use it , clear game from scum !
    5. I am Pole that live in Sweden , when I have started to play game , there was Poland as nation , WG have removed it , and have create "European nation" , that sucks , as I know that Sweds would like to have own nation , and I would like to have Poland back in the game ! , and face nati0nal1sm exist , and hippes dont play with warships ! but patriots that like military hardware and own countries ! , I have made promise that I will be F2P player until Polish nation will be back in game = I dont spend any cash on game !, so remove European nation and return to nation model !
    6. "Unscam" MM ! , as MM AI is rigged , if you play more you will get on "bait" list = you are prey for team of unicums and whales ! , I have for 2 years now gathered date , and i know there are more that 3 list that players are placed on in MM ,
    a) is that you get in to fair battle . (whales get small % of those)
    b) is looser list = mean you will get streak of loose battles ,as you will be in team with pink , clanless player or those who have low wr.
    c) is win list , you will get in team with whales and unicum
    I suspect ( data that I have gathered point to that ) that there are min 5 other list !
    7. Alow players to test ships in co op before they will spend money on them !
    8. Rework achievements !!! , I have 2 solo warriors , 1 on Richelieu ,second on Ohio in ranked , mean while there are players out here that have literally hundreds Solo Warrio & thousands Kraken , why ? , they play T1 ! , against bots ! , there need to be change !
    T1-T5 Achievement - Brown class
    T5-T8 Silver class
    T9-T10 Gold class .

      When flamu lives in your head rent free to the point of blaming him for doing he didn't lol.
      Were cards of Flambass toxic? One could argue that they were. But the fact even with all those handicaps he managed to carry tells a lot about playerbase. If you truly care about banning "toxic" players, you should rather aim for PQ, or how I call him now RQ. He just leaves the game after few bad salvoes or MM that he does not like.
      I agree when it comes to points 1 & 2, subs and CVs are one of main reasons why meta is shitshow, and game simply unpleasant to play.
      Point 3, I disagree, it's a goddamn PvP game. Tracking stats is very basic in them.

    I think limiting subs and cvs would be my main wish. They'd need to count hybrids as well. Not as a full blown cv but those need to be kept symmetrical as well. Only uptiering 1 lvl would be great but that's not realistic due to que times.

    My biggest are wanting better freebie daily rewards (but maybe no more free tier 10 ships like in the past) and the grind (not fun) to get to Tier 10 stuff for more casual minded players who don't want to take that on. I hear of people grinding 1-10 in like a day and I dont know how they do that, but I dont have the time to do so. I understand noobs in Tier 10 doing dumb things sometimes, but for the most part myself working up to being a tier 9 bb player, I know enough to try not to drive straight constantly, and not being full flat side on to the enemy. The try hards also ruin it for me spamming chat with hate if you don't last the full game and get 150k+ dmg (meanwhile they die in 2 mins).

    Subs in their current form are just briefing tools to ruin the game experience for 2 players each game. Extending the sonar lock cool downs would help removing from the game would be better....

    How about mid-match purchases?
    Say, you a DD, last 5 minutes, 5v1 and zero consumables left. Open a menu and purchase one smoke for 20k credits (prices based on tier and mode, ranked > random, either deduced from the battle expenses or in-port). If you think it may too broken, make it air drop to a nearby location...
    This way also nerf CVs by capping their infinite planes to a finite ammount; you want more squadrons? sure, 30k and you get a new torp-squad.
    Altho adding this would mean a tweak on the economy... 🤔😶

    Seriously... no one will take you correctly if you use "I feel" statements. Be precise as to what you want and back it up with facts. Eg... I notice that cvs and sub in a match changes the dynamic of a match. Here's the avg length of time the games are with a carrier or without.

    Won't do any good to "suggest" anything to WG. No-One wanted Subs but here we are. How about lose the super high price to play superships. I have 2 of these things. I cannot play them because I cannot pay to play. I mean you work super hard to get to tier ten. You have to build up 50 million credits. Buy the ship. It takes up to 8 million MORE credits to set them up and THEN, you can't play them because of the cost to REPAIR them. Doesn';t seem fair to put in SO much Work / Grind / Cost to get them then penalized for playing it. Very disappointed about that.

    Im a newer player coming from wot (playing somewhat regularly since 2020 but REALLY picked up in the last couple months). This game has nowhere near the same issues that WoT has. Subs do make the game overall worse, but cvs never bothered me. Arty is wot is 10x worse than cvs imo. Ive also had more games go to near timer WAY more often than ive had 5 min games. In wot the game can totally be over and back to lobby in 3 mins. I personally think some people are just jaded from this game. I dont feel most of these problems.

    Hello i think the older Legendary Commanders should be reworked Yamamoto Isoroku and William F. Halsey Jr. they have only two and its very hard or only luck to activate their talent the newer Legendary Commanders is very easy to activate (some of them it works like automatic for example secondary and main guns hits or torp hits ).... first blood to activate should be removed from every Legendary Commander because only one player from your team can get it so for the rest of the Team its impossible to activate!!!

    PvP is dead. Subs and CVs have run off a lot of people. WG should focus on PVE content like Asymmetric and new operations if they want those players back. I’m one of them and I haven’t played a random battle in 2 years plus. Ranked is the same and even mode shuffle is too passive for the most part.
