If Mercedes would make a proper S-Class level SUV and also made it attractive, it would decimate Range Rover sales, especially if it had a third row option.
venom5809 Yeah they do...it's called GL.
Albi Rama You clearly have never been inside the GL or S-Class because the GL is not to the same level as the S-Class at all, it is E-Class quality and amenities.
venom5809 I study automotive engineering my friend and i know very well what i'm talking about...the GL already has the best third row seats in the biz and the current generation's design is pretty imposing... it's just that the new S-class upped the game so much in terms of the interior even to the previous S-class that now every mercedes model is catching up.Just wait for the facelift (which will be called GLS if you don't know) and you'll see what i'm talking about.

i absolutely love it but $120,000 is way too much. my three bedroom two bath 1/2 acre country home brick ranch in a nice neighborhood is $140,000 so it doesnt add up for a car.
healthyamerican That means it's not for you :)) Stop criticizing things as 'expensive' just because you can't afford or is not a logical buy for you. You're no the world's standards.
so if they raised the price to $400,000 i`m still not allowed to say its over priced simply because there are people richer than me
+healthyamerican It is worth the price because there is a market for it. There are a lot of silent people with big bank rolls that have more money than they know what to do with. They need to be able to buy this to impress their stupid ass rich friends to solidify their status. Rover doesn't want common folk like us to own this truck because they consider the "Have Nots" low class. This is the only one I like. They never made a long wheelbase model before, and previous body styles have a cramped interior and poor reliability. You might be able to buy used in 2021 because I'm sure 50-60k will drop off the price?

Such a beautiful car
Another great review and agree about the infotainment system. What it does is great, the way it does it is clunky. Can't agree about the interior looking dated. Sure, there's little in the way of 'buttons and bling' like its competitors but its understated elegance in my view puts it ahead of the game not behind it.
