Craig's words showed he is heartbroken. He may have been his sparring partner but he was his dear friend.. Thought they would have got Bruno to say a few words , beautiful tribute none the less.
Looks like they limited that particular tribute to current Strictly personnel - I think the likes of Bruno, Arlene Phillips, Darcey Bussell, Alesha Dixon and maybe some of the former pros like Brendan Cole, Erin Boag, Karen Hardy etc would have paid their respects if the net had been cast wider.
But for a small segment within the launch show, I agree it was beautifully done.
Good.point.. Errin got him the judges job and I have seen her heartfelt tribute to Len somewhere else.

A definite 10 for Len. He and Brucie were the faces of Strictly in my eyes and it's hard to express how much Len will be missed.

I had the honour of watching the Strictly professionals on tour perform a tribute to the great Len Goodman! They danced to ‘You’re The Voice’ by John Farnham, and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL!! That was a beautiful tribute! Len was one of the reasons why Strictly is so good! R.I.P legend 💔

I watched him for 20 seasons on DWTS. I grew up watching him and his kindness to others! I bet Len will continue to watch Strictly Come Dancing and Dancing with the Stars in heaven. Maybe heaven is doing their own version of the show with Sir Bruce Forsyth as host and Len as the head judge.

As a viewer since the start, its a real shame we have lost Len. RIP. Sorely missed. He really was a personality.

He was my first ever judge, and told me off because my bum always stuck out🤭😂 I was only four, and I met him many times and he never failed to make me giggle. He was a lovely man and a great judge ❤

Aww. I loved Len, he was such a gentleman, he was very funny about everything and he can light up a room, he’s warm-hearted. You can see Craig and Anton are heartbroken bless them. I’m on the same page, I do miss him as well. He was a very sweet man. He’s one of the reasons Strictly’s still happening. R.I.P you legend 😭❤️

I liked Len. He was a great judge on Strictly. He was fun, fair, gentlemanly, honest, cool and inspiring. I was sad when he left the panel and now, he's gone, I miss him.

I was too young to be affected by Bruce's death, so I can imagine how sad i was over hearing about Len's death is how everyone else felt with Bruce. Lost a piece of childhood then.
Bruce was one of those celebrities we absolutely dreaded that one day we would have to face losing, we're losing all the greats.

I only know Len from the tele but 30 years ago I used to do youth theatre with Len's son James (who was a great actor, a good singer and a passable dancer). And given the charming person James was you know Len was a good dad. Rest Peacefully Len.

A beautiful tribute to an iconic and irreplaceable figure of Strictly and Dancing with the Stars ❤. He had just retired from DWTS last year and they gave some lovely tributes to him on his last shows, the ones they will inevitably do on the upcoming series I will be a mess. Sweet fun fact: Shirley’s son, Mark Ballas, has been a pro on DWTS and last year, on Len’s final DWTS series, he won with his celebrity partner!

What a truly touching tribute. I remember when SCD came on TV for the first time and Len was always a character that I warmed to. No matter what the feedback was, whether it was good, bad or one that the contestants never wanted to hear he always did it in a way that made him an endearing presence on the show and one that you really respected as a head judge. He will sorely be missed.

I haven’t been watching Strictly like i watched Xfactor over the years like since childhood up until my 20’s but 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹 when i watched that video and that whole BBC Episode in honour of him fr it’s like you have been watching him even when you haven’t 😭🤧

Anton's concluding quote just broke my heart. Usually, I agreed with Craig's critique - not with Len's. Len was never an objective judge: he cared more about the program than about objective evaluations. But he was an ultimate showman, folksy jokes et all. His name is forever ingrained in the SCD history.
For me, the show's never been the same since Len left. And I mean that in both senses of the word now he's sadly no longer with us. He was such a magnetic personality and seemed like a genuinely top bloke.

I know that it’s been a while since she hasn’t been judging strictly. But I’m in America and this was going to be the second season that he wasn’t judging. But it’s differently, knowing that there’s no way he he could be back at the table. He’s a reason why I watch the show and I love watching the show.

I am crying watching this, he was strictly, and much as i love it, it has lost a little something since he went.

Len Goodman has been on DWTS and SCD for decades and the 32 year veteran left a legacy in the ballroom and as they say goodbye to two ballrooms one on BBC One and on ABC, SCD and DWTS lived in another with the family and our thoughts are with the pros of the U.K. and pros of Hollywood as we say thanks for the dance. The Legendary man who took the mirror ball trophies twice from London to Hollywood dying of Bone Cancer on April 22 2023 with her family with him in his Royal Tunbridge Well United Kingdom home at the aged of what? Was he 76, 77 or 78? More on today notes of life on their website and TH-cam today.....and celebrating the life of a member of the great white way....Legendary star, Michael McGrath a tony award superstar here in these pictures best known for starring in Tootsie, most recent play followed was Spamalot and was the man behind the legendary star as Gleason and was a fictional character in The Patsy until he was cast in Nice Work If You Can Get It. No cause of death was given on Thursday. Survived by his wife and actor Tony DiBuono, Michael McGrath was 65 years old.
