Suicide: A permanent solution to a temporary problem. It simply breaks my heart.
Caroline was clearly an enormous talent and a very spirited, gorgeous human.
Show off your wings and fly high beautiful angel. I wish I had the privilege of working with you.
Depression sadly, and for many, isn't a temporary problem... I've had it since I was 11 and I deal with it whenever it pops up, but unfortunately it always comes back.
For a lot of us with mental illness there isn’t a permanent solution that will fix our illness.
some times problems are permanent i.e health problems

@@jetnight88 I actually do. I wasn’t referring to depression itself. I was referring to the overwhelming feelings of wanting to take your own life. I have had them many times.
Unfortunately, "a day" after winning Strictly, in her own words, Caroline fell into a depression and started on antidepressants. Things are often not what they seem on the surface on these shows. Rest in peace Caroline.

The crash after such a high. Some of us are susceptible to these lows especially after so much adrenalin and overstimulation. Its called manic depression

It’s unfair to blame strictly; this has happened repeatedly on many ‘reality’ &/or competition shows - & in fact, in people’s every day lives. I had the best year of my life in ‘06, & then had a breakdown New Year’s Eve going into ‘07. The reality of everything (& the inevitable change that comes with it) is often far too overwhelming to bare.

People have their opinions about her but one thing for sure you cannot deny she was a beautiful dancer. The way she moved, to the emotion shown in her dances was something special. She was a beautiful woman and will always be. May her memory Live on. This was shown on world mental health day, a day where awareness was made for mental health. Let us all remember the beautiful life we lost sadly due to mental health which sadly took a turn for the worst following her treatment. “in a world where you can be anything, be kind”
I know she clearly had undiagnosed condition like Olivia Atwood has ADHD like I do and others have Bipolar like Kerry Katona yet her outburst was seen as domestic abuse!
Collette Post sadly we will never know nor will she get the right tests. Many people go undiagnosed resulting in them having to suffer through life
Strange you blame her actually her treatment for her mental health issues, really her downfall to you.

@Tucker Twatted you mean. I don't know what happened there but he retracted the complaint and denied that she had attacked him. Apparently the blood on her belonged to her and because he had been fast asleep, when she awoke him, the first thing he saw was a lot of blood, as well as her being hysterical, and he immediately assumed the blood was his when he called 999. The press were too quick to point out that if a man hits a woman over the head then the expectation is that he should go to jail and that as she appeared to be a man abuser she should be punished equally. None of the true story is in the public domain. All we know, on the record, is the above, and that he stood by her to the end.
@Tucker he showed the cut he had on his head to prove how small his injury was. The majority of blood was from her cutting herself because she had become emotionally unstable. What she did was wrong but what the press portrayed was a complete fabrication. And those lies created a negative momentum of public opinion that led to her death. Celebrities don't have any special emotional powers to deal with these situations, I know if the same thing happened to me I may well consider doing what she did.
If she was an ordinary person (not famous), no one would have found out and she would have been cautioned by the police and not subjected to a media circus and harsh public judgement. Nothing that happened her was fair.
My heart goes out to her family and friends. 💚🙏
@@tracy9157 lots of domestic violence victims retract their statement for various reasons. the fact that she was charged and involved in a trial for her actions suggests it was not from cutting herself. its tragic she took her own life, but I wouldn't be so quick to defend her, because if it was a man, he wouldn't be getting the praise and sympathy that Caroline now gets!....abuse works both ways.

THIS WAS BEAUTIFUL: Having personally met Caroline socially, she touched my heart in a way no one else ever has, she was a warm, kind, genuinely nice and wonderful person, such fun to spend time with, and left me with memories I will treasure forever, 8 months today, and I still think of her every day, and still get tears in my eyes, She will always have a very special place in my heart, and the fact so many people who never got the chance to meet her felt the pain and sadness of her loss, is so touching, Thank you to everyone that cares about her, and to those that watched this and my tributes on my channel, and to BBC Strictly Come Dancing team,for this tribute, for the Fun Loving,Talented, Beautiful, Caroline Flack, the most wonderful person I have ever had the privilege to know.and will always love with all my heart.

i was nine when she performed on strictly and it’s insane because i remember every dance she did. she was the only celebrity on strictly that could’ve been confused for the professional. even now i remember how incredibly talented she was, i loved watching her perform!

Honestly she comes into my mind at least once a week. She was such a beautiful person inside and out and it’s heart breaking what ending she was to have after watching this when she probably felt on top of the world with happiness. I hope she’s at peace.

But a saying I’ve heard and remember through my snuggles is ‘your life isn’t yours to take because your just passing the pain onto others’. Hearing her say 'this is the best moment of my life', I welled up, as a 30 year old, I've battled anxiety/depression, been the victim of social media abuse, I came through it all, working now full time, unfortunately Caroline didn't, never give up, reach out, speak up be it to a therapist, random encounter with a passerby, there is always hope❤️enjoy life you get one chance

It's so easy to say oh she shouldn't of done it, that moment would have passed. This is true but the pressure of judgement and persistent media attention weighed heavily and took its toll.
Think about this everytime you judge someone..at work, socially or buy a gossip magazine... judgement however frivolous weighs heavily on the person it's projected at...we all need to be kinder to each other. Life's hard enough let's just support each other, not tear each other down! 💚🙏
Believe me when I say that at that particular moment you truly believe that there is no point carrying on in this life..you truly believe your friends and family will be better off without you and it is NOT a cowardly decision..it takes guts to decide to take your own life..it is NOT self pity..it is the desolation of a future you cannot see..a need to be with the ones you have lost and to take away the pain of the disappointment you are or have been.. at tgat point it is the ONLY solution you can genuinely see..please do not judge harshly.. you have had to walk in those shoes to understand why..i understand why.. fly high..shine bright 💔🌈

I am still shocked that she did this. I honestly was mad at her because I've loved her and watched her interview etc I was devastated when I heard the news I still can't wrap my head around that.
Bawling my eyes out. Still remember the day she left this earth. Was my hen do’ - I was so lucky to have been able to go to the same dance school as her, and I still can see a picture of her on the wall in the corridor. Hope your dancing and smiling up there Caroline x

I used to watch TMi as a kid which Caroline hosted for a few seasons & she really was a part of my childhood... I suffered (still do) depression as a young teen & her show brought me an hour or two of joy every weekend.. Thank you Caroline.

I dont normally get upset about celebrities passing but she hit me hard. Probably because she was only a year older than me and i was having the same thoughts at the same time. So it still upsets me now to think how bad i was feeling and that is how she was feeling except worse. I am doing better now but she will never get that chance and she was so lovely. I have always liked her and had a bit of a crush on her tbh. This was a lovely tribute and such a beautiful person

So sad she is gone, but she is not lost, she'll be with all those that she touched with her dancing and joyful outlook on life, forever. This should have a lesson for everyone to show kindness at all times, she was effected by slander and gossip from the Media and it took a toll on her life, may she rest in peace where no more can hurt her

I re-watch this from time to time just to remember how such a beautiful soul needs to be cherished. She really was larger than life in her show dance. Her beauty was her smile, and how she brought radiance to anyone she met.
