"You've gotta break a few eggs to make a delicious egg-based dish." -- words to live by from Tom, as true in the kitchen as they are on the battlefield
When you hover your mouse over a attack target. It gives you percentages. Of you vs them. And there is a difference in between a front attack and rear attack. The demo is free. You should try it.
@@makkapakka8895 It's always interesting to check out a demo where Tom's familiarity with the genre makes it look easy, but in practice it's actually pretty tough.
Pretty sure it's a demo, so proof of concept is the most important thing. If I am remembering correctly, it means they can manage the priorities before it's 'finished.'
Great video, I love it Keep up the amazing content. Also just to tell you if you didn't know but there is a new We Were Here game called We Were Here Forever (its not really new but I don't think you have played it and played it with someone else) ♥
Every time I watch a new video about this game, I am more sure I am not going to buy it, unfortunately. First, I hear there is no anti-vehicle infantry, then I hear you can't repair vehicles, and now I see this terrible AI...
Unfortunately I'm in the same boat, it seems to be missing a lot of features the old games had. Fog of war? No healing on cities? Can you merge damaged units together to form healthier ones? The AI prioritizing the destruction of cities with no consideration for enemy units around them seems completely terrible. It's a shame because I was initially excited about this game, especially with online pvp.
Daily reminder that Tom is an amazing person and to thank him for all he has done/will do - Day 1780 OOOO you get to play Beckett, I am interested in other characters you can play You know, big agree with Tom, the little details, like the artillery legs, really adds :D Oh now loving the 3 For All, and well any such gamemode that has more than 2 players. Hearing that there will be online multiplayer, I'm wondering if you can team up :D Gotta say, this was a tremendous amount of fun, and looking forward to the full thing, hopefully Tom returns for such
Omg tom ffs take the cities youre fighting next to the whole game lol. Its comical how often tom will be fighting around a city and then just leaves it uncaptured
Tom: I love artillery.
Tom ten minutes later: I don't like arty.

He is right, it is all egg based dishes.
Huzzah for more Tom voices for tactical tank times!
Huzzah indeed!
I wonder if this game also has the thing where if you attack a unit from behind, they have a lot less defense.

"We're making good trades", after all the trades have been cut from the video
I would watch the whole campain Mr. Tom 😊
I played the demo of this and really struggled on the second to last mission but tom just crushed it!
Same! It also took me like 3 attempts and 50 something turns to finish the last mission

Tom: Changes his opinion halfway through the video
Watchers: I can't believe he's done this
Tom "a ton of tanks" Angor
Advanced Wars?!?! I didn't know they made a new one! Looks exactly like advanced Wars.
I dont know what to do with myself if there are no more BAM!s at the start of the videos...
The AI in this game is just bad... They focus on capturing towns over fights 100% of the time and just get rolled over every time

I really hope they had some form of AT infantry…

It is not advance wars because you play as blue moon XD
This is just Fire Emblem with guns >:^(

So this is just worse Advance Wars. Why do people do this all the time now?
The way the music just hard switches between 2 very different tracks/themes like every 15 seconds is actually really annoying
2nd xD
