Hi Marisa, I have followed you for years, since shortly after I started my wavy/curly journey in 2018. I went through a rut recently as I grew my hair out super long (I kept it trimmed with the butterfly cut thanks to your video!) and eventually it became too much work to properly style, never mind diffuse! I recently had another curly cut and chopped loads off and have really enjoyed getting back into experimenting with products, styling and diffusing. I’ve tried all the things over the years - hover diffusing/pixie diffusing/cold shot etc. But nothing really clicked for me. This video came at just the right time. It felt very freeing and scary to use medium heat (!) even for a bit as well as scrunching out the crunch while it was still damp. But it has been a revelation! I have fine but high density waves/curls which are easily weighed down and I didn’t realise how much breaking the cast and drying to 100% would increase the bounce, volume and shine of my hair. Starting with medium heat also cut the drying time as you say which makes it more doable. I used to hate diffusing with a passion because it was so time consuming and the results were disappointing. Now I actually enjoy it because it’s not too long and it’s so rewarding to like how it looks when it’s done. I just finished diffusing again using your tips and loved how my hair looked so much I had to come back and comment on this video, everyone should try this method! Especially if your hair is pretty healthy and easily weighed down - 11/10!!! Thank you so much for sharing ❤️❤️❤️
I’ve been doing the same lately with scrunching while diffusing after I’ve set my curl, and I love it! So much faster and I can go about my day much easier than when waiting for my hair to dry enough to scrunch out the crunch. I don’t think I’ll ever go back.
@@MarisasCurls same! 2 years since I last straightened my hair and it’s so much easier to do now. My top layer is still slightly damaged but I’m getting there. I’ve just had a big chunk cut off and I absolutely love it! I love seeing another Scot on here by the way 😘
The hairdryer looks very much like my Dyson but I see it’s cheaper. I’ll recommend it to other people. Btw your hair looks great and I’m going to try that scrunch whilst diffusing technique. Thanks!
Try a scalp massage with a few drops of oil and leave it on overnight before washing the next day 😄 works a treat for me. Also the umberto giannini scalp scrub is brilliant

Aw wow this is amazing to read! I’m so glad it works for you. I love how much quicker it is and I do think my curls come out better this way too.

It’s amazing how much easier it gets to do your hair when it’s healthier, it’s a lot more forgiving

It’s so so similar to the Dyson! I have both and I actually reach for my Laifen over my dyson 😃

I asked them and they said they may not have stock of the Swift SE with U.K. plug until next year however the swift special does have UK stock. 😃
