Ill say this once, and Ill say it again: This is too good for being a side game; everything from lore to homages to the multiple series within the Legend of Zelda franchise, with that kind of love and care, made it a brilliant game. Loved playing Dynasty warriors growing up, so when they announced a dynasty warrior like game with TLOZ lore, you know it was a must buy. Can't wait to see how the sequel is.

What a fantastic game. I hope that some day we get a sequel, with even more characters. Obviously the four champions from BOTW are definite candidates to be added. But there's tons of other characters they could totally add. Vaati, Nabooru, Saria, Groose, Linebeck, Dampe, SO much they could do.
Honestly hoped Groose would be added, at least to story mode. We have two reps from Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time in story mode helping Link, but one for Skyward Sword. Maybe in a sequel..?

There’s still so many other Zelda characters that could be in a game like this. A sequel could have: - Saria - Nabooru - Rauru - Deku Princess (pipes and deku link abilities) - Darmani (drums and Gordon Link) - Mikau (using his guitar and zora Link) - Ashei - Yeta (as a wtf character like Agitha) - Byrne - Nayru (Oracle) - Din (Oracle) - Farore (Oracle) - Vaati - Lady Maud - Hilda - Groose - Mipha - Daruk - Revali - Urbosa And of course they can bring back the ones from this game and even add new weapons for some of them like the Links and Zelda. And of course the OCs.

I hope that we can get Mipha (kind of like Ruto x Impa’s Naginata, I guess?), Daruk (I’d think something like Ganondorf’s Great Blades x Darunia), Revali (Maybe Linkle’s Crossbows x Medli?), and Urbosa (Probably the most original of all) in as DLC, or maybe in a sequel. It would be neat to see all of them utilizing their own special powers too, and maybe calling in the Divine Beasts for each of their specials or warrior-gauge special attacks?
