Canada was the only one I was shocked got in the Top 16. For me she was a long shot. TnT gave a superb preljm performance her stage presence was powerful and we saw that. Laos was also a decent surprise her back story is one for the books and Haiti also got my attention in prelims with that beautiful gown
Communication skills and advocacy are one of the weakness of Celeste. I heard that closed door interview scores the highest about 50% and i heard also that during her interview she is a little bit cold, so now that figured why she lost big time also blame it to her handlers and MUPH organizers.

Kaya theme ng muo this year advovacy centered. They plan it since last year. Muo is now very meticolous and hands on what they want to win . Theres nothing wrong with prelims coz she did great. I think its the credentials and interview. If you noticed, sa lahat ng interview parang wala akong narining sa kanya about advocacy and her purpose. Naririning ko lang sa kanya is pagiging greatful and exited for being a representative at paulit ulit lang yun even sa interview ni Javier. I didnt hear anything na may sense sa mga interview. No leardership din sa mga activities parang may distansya lagi sa ibang candidates. So thats it, must learn that its not all about beauty. Still, we should be thankful, yun ung nakayanan eh and she tried her best naman.

Celeste's performance in the prelims was so weak. She is lacking in some aspects. She doesn't have those concrete accomplishments yet like the ladies in the top 16 do, they really are transformational women and leaders and it is proven already in their communities through actions, they walk the talk of their advocacies. Strong communication skills with conviction, eloquence & spontaneity, high-energy performance, advocacies, community involvement, vision, and purpose really matter. These are the big factors of being a transformational leader. These are the qualities that the Miss Universe is looking for as an ambassador. I think there is something wrong with her team and muph. There is something wrong with their traditional tactic and strategy. Celeste should have showcased and performed very well from the very start, like during the rehearsals and prelims. It seems that she is holding back and reserving for finals which didn't work out. The prelim gown has no wow factor, her performance during the national costume was lifeless and the national costume "darna" itself is a bad idea. It is just basically a replica of a wonder woman suit. She didn't give justice to it. I don't know who's to blame here? Her team and muph??? This is a very big lesson learned for all of us! Miss Universe is Miss Universe! This is not a pocho pocho beauty pageant brand. It is evolving and adapting! This is not just about beauty, fashion, and glamour anymore.
