    I like IF even if I'm either cutting, bulking or maintaining! I just like eating A LOT before bed, in the night! :D

      Same, I usually wait around 4 hours in the morning before I eat anything

    Hi, I do intermittent fast and find it a great way to cut some calories. My biggest obstacle is that my work days(I'm a concreter) and my non work days have such a huge burnt calories difference, what is the best way to add the extra calories in to my diet on the busy days? Is it even worth adding extra calories on my busy days? Do I just add pure carbs like sports drinks or do I eat more food? I'm 40 and train alot around work and I'm struggling to lose the fat where my fitness is increasing.

    I've been on omad for years now. It's absolutely true that you can over eat, but all round suits me to a t. Alcohol is a bad one though because the next day I'm really hungry 😅

    Can someone PLEASE let me know if a protein shake after a workout is breaking intermittent fasting and if yes, will not taking it affect muscle growth?

      I'm not an expert, but I'm quite certain the answer is yes to both questions.
      Protein shake has calories, and it does simulate a moderate secretion of insulin. So it breaks the fast.
      I also heard amino acids are needed within a half hour of working out to support the repair and growth of muscle tissue.

      technically yes but from a practical perspective it doesn't matter at all.
