- Sonic 3XP Revival is a (Work in Progress) Full Game Edit for Sonic Mania Plus created by Team 3XPerience, while ported to Plus by MasterAlexS.

This mod takes the original Sonic 3 sprites and completely overhauls them, with more frames and custom animations, as well as an accurate Hyper Sonic!
The checklist for all the characters seems to be the same since the last update.

This update features a new title screen, plus lots of improvements to Sonic's sprites & animations, along with small improvements towards Tails & Knuckles, and Eggman's Sonic 3 sprites being added.
Also decided to do a Full Game Run just to see any differences especially with this being the first time seeing the super form.

I love the way this heavy modification replicates Sonic 3 but also without trying not to be Sonic Mania at the same time. The only problem I have with this is how the rings in the special zone work, but other than that, it really feels like a remastered version of Sonic 3. Great upload as always man

Here's some advice for the special stages the next time you run through this game, since you're naturally a speedrunner:
There's some sort of bug in the game where if you move left or right and jump the opposite way, you'll gain of speed, making some Emerald grabs ridiculously easy. I'm not going to go too in-depth about it, as I hardly know much about it in the first place, but a video covering Sonic Mania glitches by A+Start in one of his "Son of a Glitch" videos should explain the rest for me. If you've seen it, then this comment was unnecessary.
Speedrun strat aside, Sonic 3XP definitely looks like something I would check out, if I owned Sonic Mania. But I unfortunately don't. Hopefully I get around to getting the game, and maybe then I can check this mod out. It looks great so far.
