I think that mile’s new suit was a sign of his newfound confidence and strength, so glitching back to his old suit represents him becoming unsure of himself again
Yeah, I've seen this interpretation quite often! Miguel was grilling and him and telling him he's an anomaly, so he flashed back to when he didn't know what he was doing and was wearing an ill-fitting store-bought suit! Of course, any interpretation can be argued, but I think Lad's is kind of a reach!
I love Gwen's ending so much in this movie, it starts with her leaving a band, no friends, leaving her dad and going with Miguel, at the ending she leaves Miguel, she reconciles with her dad making me cry, goes with her friends and forms her new band, it's a perfect development
@@hybridvenom9You should. I have the very second issue of her first run and I have Edge of the Spider-verse #1 where she first appears. They are both really awesome.
@@Spider-BearProductions Yes i seen spider-man into the spider verse it's a good movie perfect movie butts i need to know if i should read a gwen comic
To add onto that last detail, Miguel's actions also parallel Kingpin's actions in the first movie. Kingpin tried bringing his deceased family to his universe while Miguel initially tried bringing himself to one where his wife and daughter were alive. In both cases the story does not end well.
If you want to get even deeper, Miguel's actions are literally what happened to Peter B. Parker in the first film - he replaced his dead self in another universe, except nothing happened to Miles' dimension, even though Peter interacted with MJ and Aunt May. There were no external consequences for that. Yet another reason why Miguel might not be telling the whole truth.
@@GoliathWarfareThe thing is that Peter B. Parker wasn’t actively trying to replace his dead self, since the two were visually different. Heck, he actually wanted to leave the dimension at first but briefly decided to stay at the end. (Edit: well, maybe also when he met MJ) Although we don’t know what Miguel did, all we know is that he intentionally placed himself in another universe.
@@RacingEuphoria Kingpin is evil, Miguel isn't. Miguel is just trying to do what he thinks will keep the multiverse safe but unfortunately he is driven by trauma which causes him to act irrationally.
Something I noticed on my third watch of the film was when Gwen goes back home and is talking with her father, when he tells her that he quit, the background goes white. This, to me at least, read as they're wiping the slate clean and starting fresh. I genuinely loved all of the scenes of Gwen's homeworld and all of the watercolour backgrounds that read as emotions like when Captain Stacy has the black and white background when she first takes off her mask because he's torn, then it is red/pink with a hint of blue (signifying his duty as a cop), then it goes to full blue when he starts with the Miranda Rights. Such a beautiful design choice!!
11:23 another magnificient detail to add to this: when Miguel realizes what's going on, we can see him try to pull away, but he can't, because Miles is not only draining the suit, he's also sticking to it, and there's nothing Miguel can do about it. I think that's part of the fear we can see in Miguel's eyes, when he understands that (Also I'm definitely going to brag about the fact I did notice the machine scanned Earth-42 instead of Earth 1610 on the first watch, and it was very interesting to observe the different stages at which people in the room realized it until the big reveal)
For detail no.21, (9:35), if you actually look at the glitch, it's not only him in the store costume, you can also see the Prowler in the glitch (right after) as well! Very subtle detail but it goes to show the care and effort the animators put into this movie!
10:28 Also friendly reminder that Miguel was panicking in that situation because some people in the character design department reveled that Miguel wears nothing under his suit, in fact in the comics he goes on commando mode, that’s why he is trying to detach from Miles, and Miles just grabs him more tightly so he can’t escape, then true fear covers Miguel’s face, because that’s the face of a man who knows he is about to flash a whole society 😂 (When he gets launched to the air some people think that he was fully naked but if you look closely his suit just went fully blank, it rebooted itself in a way)
Also I've heard the theory that "Uncle Aron wasn't supposed to be the Prowler" a bunch of times but I'm almost certain that the Prowler was already an established villain at this point. I think its possible he would've passed on the mantle to Miles but the notion that he wouldn't have been the Prowler at all doesn't seem right to me
I agree. I believe Aaron was supposed to train Miles to become the next Prowler before retiring from the role to be his mission support in a Batman Beyond-esque situation.
Exactly. Uncle Aaron only knew the spot he suggested to Miles for his graffiti because he was already working with Kingpin and the collider was nearby. He was already the Prowler, regardless of what happened throughout the movie.
In the first movie Jeff also isn't surprised by Aaron to be in the prowler suit after finding him dead so he likely already knew him to be the prowler similar to the dynamic between Jeff and Aaron in the Spiderman Games.
If you noticed, Miles absorbed the electric energy after which he shoots them back. When he was explaining to Spiderman Mumbattan how his power worked he says and I quote " I'm absorbing it so I can shoot it back" meaning he absorbs it to reflect it back indicating that that's what he did to Miguel O'hara
Miles invisibility remains undetected by any wave detector but he then makes only his pupil visible for the scanning, means he has all the control over his power
If it's a retinal scan, I'm not sure why that would show his destination as Earth-42, as that's for identity verification with a database. A DNA or blood scan would be more likely to get that result. Unless they did the latter earlier and put it in the database incorrectly and didn't catch it until then.
It makes me think that at the beginning of the chase scene Miles could've just turned invisible and disappear but the way he let himself be chased by the entire Spider-army and attracted all of them on the space lifter proves that he got his plan figured out since the moment he broke out of the holo cage.
People like different things. I like it when smart characters actually act like they're smart. Sometimes like in No Way Home - all the smart character are forced by the script to act stupid. Me no likey.
Agreed! I think him “hiding” was also part of the plan. He was baiting them without them knowing it. I made a comment mentioning how he obviously can go invisible, so why hide? If he had ran through them all in plain sight, at least one would catch on that he was baiting them. Yet, he “hid” in a spot that he probably thought at least one of them would find and then would act as if they “caught” him hiding. So, he baited them in an intelligent way so that they didn’t catch on that he was baiting them.
@@tobsonasanya4765 "so pretty sure they were smart characters in that movie" No there were no smart characters in No Way Home. Peter Parker: Instead of using intelligence to solve his adult problems runs to a wizard to ask for magic - with a level of thinking that is only suitable for a 4 year old child, who doesn't understand right from wrong. And not a young adult. Dr. Strange: Who has a Doctors oath to do no harm and Wizards oath to protect the multiverse - but comes up with an insanely stupid and *illegal* scheme to violate the minds of everyone on the planet and selectively erase them. Again - if you are a 4 year old child - who doesn't know right from wrong...maybe. Wong: He is the Sorcerer Supreme and responsible for governing uses of magic, but - in one of the silliest acts of completely disingenuous writing in the history of comics....he decides to *go on vacation* - in order to let the stupid sitcom hijinks ensue. What would possibly work- is if this were all intended as a joke.... I mean the entire film, just a joke. Yet, a major character - Aunt May is killed because of the stupidity of EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER IN THIS FILM. So the reason I mentioned how *stupid* the film No Way Home is - is because it is *stupid.* It's easily the most overrated Marvel Film of all time - and this along with Eternals, Antman 3, MOM and Thor 4 is a part of the downfall of the MCU - whose films now border on being emotionally arrested and mentally rxtarded.
Stupidity: I just captured the Lizard, and Octavius and put them in my Wizards dungeon without even leaving this room. So now - I will assign Peter Parker and his teen age friends to walk around and look for *dozens, hundreds, billions?* of possibly evil super powered villains - and then they will use my magical devices to bring them here to me - what could possibly go wrong??? - Dr Strange (under the influence of his No Way Home lobotomy, and the *laziest writing...ever* ).
13:39 There's also a sketch of the Prowler gauntlets in Miles-42's room. Not shown in the video but also in the same scene we can see the posters in Miles's room are slightly different (I think one with the word "sashimi" is replaced with "oashimi") Another detail I really liked is how Aaron-42 is only a little suspicious of Miles until he receives a text on his phone on the balcony. Given that Miles-42 then immediately knocks him out, we can assume he was the one who alerted Aaron.
Very interesting details! Also I genuinely thought Aaron was holding a flashlight this whole time- you know to give a signal to Miles-42 on when to attack. But a phone makes a LOT more sense.
Interesting. The other thing is why his spider-sense worked for all those other spider-people but didn't work for his alternate. Did it not work if Spider-Man ever fought a clone? Or does The Prowler have some sort of jammer? Green Goblin had one that he used and was able to follow Peter home without being detected.
Minute 14:20, you said if miles wasn't bitten by a spider his Ancle Aron won't be the prowler, just wanted to note that his Ancle was already the prowler to begin with way before he was betten, he was supposed to retire and train miles as the upcoming prowler
I dont believe 1610 Miles was ever supposed to be the prowler but instead just a normal kid. When uncle Aaron dies he tells Miles that he let him down by being the prowler, and that he wanted Miles to look up to him.
@@saeedskater1803 Aaron at his heart wasn't a bad guy and nor is Arron/Miles of earth 42. Miles can be a vigilante version of the prowler the same way Batman is, he puts the fear in criminals and makes questionable morally grey decisions, but all for the greater good. I feel like we'll see Earth 42s version of Miles as the Prowler was our versions paralel future, but it was on his terms, not as a villain. You see there is no spiderman and the sinister 6 is uncontested, Earth 42 Miles is probably a counter to them the best way he can. No matter what Earth, we see Miles is a good person because of his parents. That doesn't mean he can't be the Prowler, it's just a name and suit.
@saeedskater1803 that's completely untrue, 1610 Miles being destined to become the prowler just becasue Earth 42 Miles is doesnt make any sense, Earth 42 has no Spider-Man, he still had the standard Spider-Man tragedies befall him so ofc he ended up the Prowler like his dad died his city fell into chaos ran rampant by villains (if you ask where are the other New York heroes, in the Ultimate Spider-Man run after Peter's death crime went crazy and those heroes struggled to keep it under control since Peter just did so much) also Earth 42 Miles is very different from 1610 Miles it seems(not just his style & VA) as he is more Hispanic & probably speaks Spanish too lol, his VA is a clue to that but also his flare & the way he talks too. The theory just makes 0 sense especially since Peter Parker of 1610 wouldn't have died, he would've stopped the machine preventing the Spot in his universe, also Uncle Aaron wouldn't have died either since Miles being bit by the spider is what kills both of these men, and soon his father aswell. I'm sure the spidersense is that color because he was in danger from the Green Goblin who shares the same color scheme & that the next movie will finally kill this theory.
Another detail that I noticed about Miles being in the wrong universe is Rio's eyes are a different color. In Miles's universe, his mom's eyes are brown/hazel depending on the artistic style of the scene, but on Earth-42, Rio's eyes are definitely green, clearly different enough to intentionally be a different color and not just part of the Spider-verse art style.
12:00 Fun fact: I actually DID notice this detail in my first viewing. I had noted that the machine reads the spider’s DNA, so when the screen showed Earth-42, I immediately knew that Miles was headed to the wrong place. It was a super cool detail that I’m really proud of noticing!
Had goosebumps when I realized he was in a different universe because of the rain. They nailed the scene perfectly. It really has that eerie feeling to it.
Def should’ve cut that part shorter, maybe flash the monitor saying “earth-42” for like 0.25sec so that it’s very very quick and leaves an explanation, but it’s still there
During the chase sequence, Miles has the hardest time against animal spider-men. Also the reason Gwen and Peter manage to sling him is because he doesn't perceive them as a threat. This because Gwen was trying to lessen the momentum from Jess' kick and Peter wanted to talk.
A detail you may not know is that Prowler Miles isn’t actually evil (or MAY not be, idk): From what I know a test animation has been leaked from a scrapped scene where Prowler Miles and his Uncle Aaron go on a heist for medical supplies, only to bring them back to his mother at the hospital (who is seen treating a patient). What’s most intriguing about this is that Prowler Miles moves around like Spider-Man, while still being the Prowler, he can even be seen using some sort of hookshot to swing form Uncle Aaron as if he was webslinging. Btw another thing, even though it’s a test animation, it STILL looks pretty damn good.
I don't know if it was leaked; I thought it was released before the movie left theaters. I was pretty pissed seeing it as a spoiler for the next movie. Of course that could be the epilogue for Miles-42 with him telling his story. They better not just shake hands and be friends at the start of the movie. I expect to see at least 4 battles: Miles-1610 vs Miles-42, Miles and the Band vs. the Sinister Six, Miles and the Band vs. Miguel and his followers, and finally Miles and the Band vs. The Spot. That would make it an Avengers-level movie.
Actually, if you think about it, Miles was always meant to be Spiderman. One of the most important details that proves this is in Into the Spider-Verse when Miles goes to find the spider that had bit him. We see his spider sense showing three different panels. One of a radioactive symbol, the Alchemex logo, and a spider crawling along the wall. This spider was not the one that bit miles as we can see it has an entirely different body shape, coloring, and it does not have the number 42 on it. This insinuates that Miles was always meant to be bit just not by the spider from Earth 42.
One detail I enjoyed is Miles spidey sense goin off when his mother noticed him walk thru the door to the roof. The fact that the spider sense applies to angry mothers is just absolutely amazing 🤣🤣.
Did anyone else notice that when everyone was in spider society they kept their respective art style, mainly miles peter and gwen, but when they left and were in 2099 they adapted to Miguel's art style
you can actually notice this in the 1st movie too: everyone has slightly adapted to the style in Miles' world (spidernoir for example isn't in full B&W like in his own intro and verse, but is slightly shaded). I believe this is simply an artistic choice to make the scenes slightly more coherent to look at, despite the separate styles, being in the same verse "unifies" all the spidey styles a bit. For more of the comics-style verses, the 3D models themselves are also more similar in actual stylization, to also help the audience feel more comfortable about the different styles. Same with Pavitr's world - Gwen and Miles still look way more 3D than all the other characters (which made me actually kind of uncomfortable cuz it felt weird), but they're still shaded slightly flatter, different from what we've seen in Miles' world or in the Nueva York scenes :D it's an interesting attention to detail from the animation staff!
@@4nnih6 I mentioned this because when they were in spider society, everyone had there natural styles but when they were outside chasing mile they change, I brought it up as a detail to talk about how long miguel has been working on exploring the multiverse. I just thought it was an interesting detail.
@@treygavino Yes, it is an interesting detail of the movie and how the crew has stretched the idea of how to present different styles in a "crossover" movie basically :D I grew up with the 94 series which also had a few Peters "crossing over" so this is just really interesting for me as an artistic choice. I guess why they seem more their own style inside spider-society, might be that Miguel with his big tech holds a bigger "reality bubble" over it - like with the bracelets, but maybe a bit milder. And outside the story, maybe it could also just have been a technical choice there on the train bc at that point there are so many spiders in a cluster in the background there, it wouldn't matter to the viewer if they're all different styles - shots and scenes r too fast for most ppl to take notice. Just guessing :D
I think another detail is (i might be wrong), but during the scene where Miles and Rio are talking, she brings up how Miles (from Earth-42) always begged her to go to Comic-Con, though in Earth-1610 (in the first movie), he says he doesn’t know what Comic-Con is when Peter B. Parker brings it up.
I'm so happy to be alive at the same time with youtubers like Canadian lad. You can literally feel the passion and drive that is put into their videos.
No one mentioned it yet, but when Miles was sent back to earth 42 the first thing that captured my eyes were those moldy stains on the wall. They were everywhere! The twist still got me good in the end, so when I think about it now it was a nice artistic touch since it gives off the feeling of ditched leftovers, forgotten in the dark that went "bad" over time - so was this universe. Also mold is often associated with green and grey, stealing away the colors of what we usually see as healthy or good. It's the same color spectrum we saw in Miles' home when he returned! Leaving behind an off taste and vibe to it.
To be honest, when I found out that Miles was bitten by a spider from Earth-42, and when I saw the destination on the telecom being "Earth-42", I immediately knew what's gonna happen. Maybe because I came watching this masterpiece after several seasons of Elementary with Sherlock Holmes, but I felt like a genius there :D
This detail you pointed out at 9:40 was a detail that really managed to catch my eye during my first watch and while your theory as to why that glitching happened makes a lot of sense I thought I could also pitch another theory I came up with In the majority of ITSV, the suit that Miles wore is the spiderman costume he bought from Stan Lee really early on, and he wears it for the majority of the movie until he makes his own suit and the whole leap of faith scene happens. But before all of that, Miles is shown to be a pretty incompetent spiderman who just cant catch up with all of the other much more experienced spiderman varients. I believe part of this "incompetence" stems from Miles' insecurity/low self confidence with him trying to meet up to the standard of the now previous spiderman who passed this mission down to Miles (and the whole "meeting standards" thing is a big part of Miles' character arc as a whole, in both ITSV and ATSV). However, this self doubt starts to fade once he makes an identity for himself, ditches the old costume, makes a new proper suit for himself and he finds that confidence to take that leap of faith After the events of ITSV, Miles is much more confident in his ability to be spiderman (and it shows with all of the details mentioned throughout the video). But when Miguel starts to yell at Miles saying that he is the original anomoly and he is a mistake and is never supposed to be spiderman, the things Miguel said is like peeling back old scabs Miles has healed from in ITSV. Miguel (whether he realizes it or not) is tapping into one of, if not Miles' deepest insecutiries that took him a long time to heal from, and the glitching where he is shown wearing the old spiderman costume is a representation of that old insecurity resurfacing after years Long story short, the stan lee costume in both ITSV and ATSV is a representation of Miles' feelings of insecutiry and low self-confidence, so when it shows in the glighting in ATSV, you can see how much Miguel's words are hurting Miles Your theory is much more positive than mine but I still think it is a valid and very interesting take on this little detail, I just thought sharing my own thoughts would be a fun idea to explore
I thought, what if Miles will be able to traverse the spiderverse without glitching because hes an 'original anomaly'. and after reading this i thought what if that happens when he finds full confidence in himself. because he only glitches when he's unsure about himself. After the glitch on the train he doesn't glitch again since he's pushback against Miguel. Like the conversation he has with Gwen after she says 'Gwen always falls for spiderman' he says 'well there's a first time for everything', indicating that things will be different and between the two of them they'll be able to push the boundaries that other Spiderverses cant. and Spiderman India confirms this when he sees their connection as pulpable.
What I loved about the animation of this movie is that they gave every spider-man a different animation and the fact that even when they were all stuck together on miles we could see their different animation styles.
I think during the scan if Miles was able to do it normally, without being invisible he would've been sent to his original dimension, but since he was actively using his powers that's why the spider's DNA was able to override his own
Dude could have waited for digital to cover all the stuff, yet he went back to the theaters watching, analyzing every detail just to provide us with beautiful informations about a beautiful movie, cause that's what heroes do. Massive respect lad, massive respect.
One detail I loved about this movie that seemingly nobody picked up on is how the Spot is designed. If you look carefully, you can see that he’s composed of sketch lines and circles, a common technique when it comes to drawing figures and anatomy. It’s most prominent in his original white design Figured I’d point it out :^)
One really good detail is that Spider-Punk respects that Miles is "basically an adult", so he calls him "Little man" when Miles gets trapped in the holographic cage.
Miguel was missing a very important detail of his suit, a pretty little Tierra. Always throwing temper tantrums, runs around saying he handles everything on his own, but he's the quickest to call for backup. He's also a bully, he doesn't just try to hurt Miles (a 15yr old) physically but he tries to hurt him emotionally. Also, Miguel is a combination of Dracula, Spiderman and Ironman, yet Miles wipes the floor with him.
Fun Fact, the reason Gwan Stacy was able to go to Miles high school is because in her universe, she goes there. This is conformed in the movie with theVision sweatshirt in her room.
@@L0ki8329 Every slider man has a gwen (or gwen equivalent) that died. Earth 1610's Gwen died to carnage, which is why 63 Gwen says her name's Gwanda at first
@@L0ki8329 pretty sure in actual continuity gwen is of peter's age and not miles' age. just like how peter b is older than the peter of miles' universe , spider gwen is younger than the gwen of miles' universe
Man oh man, the chase scene really makes me appreciate Miles' skill and power even more meanwhile taking some hits and keepin' on going like every true Spiderman does. Respect.
Yeah his breakthrough puts a lot of perspective to it. That's one of the things I missed in ITSV, him being his own Spiderman and now we start to see hints of it. Let's see what he can do in Beyond.
14:17 I liked the fact that the purple and green spider sense had multiple meaning. It indicated both the green goblin and also miles originally supposed to being prowler. Just awesome level of detail.
@@葉傑夫 as far as I remember, Canadian lad himself said in his into the spider-verse detail video that since miles' spider sense was slow at that time, his was still reacting to the green goblin. And then reacted to peter. That's why the change in color. But now we can say that that scene had multiple meanings.
I believe one of the directors mentioned that Miles' spider sense was green and purple at first because Uncle Aaron was his biggest influence in life up until he met Peter, which is when it shifts to red and blue. I'm pretty sure they never intended to imply that Miles was ever supposed to be the Prowler in the first movie. Even for ATSV, alternate universe Miles was his own vigilante first and became the Prowler second, which can be seen in his concept art.
@@Arijit_Das_ He did, I also watched that video prior to this comment, however, I just feel like "spider sense being slow, reacting to danger that already occurred" is a bit far fetched, if the colour scheme of the character does implies the danger that it is sensing, there's no reason for Peter to have red& blue spider senses.
@@葉傑夫see, I feel the exact opposite, I think it’s dumb that y’all are retrofitting this awesome detail to be something completely different that makes no sense. The spider sense warns of imminent danger, not foresees the destiny of a character, the only thing that makes sense is it being the goblin thing!
A detail you didn't mention in all of the three videos and I thought was pretty neat is that every once in a while you can notice circles and lines on some of the characters that aren't part of the design, these are of course because when you're drawing you usually want a base to do the body, and I would say in a large production being able to see them might be unprofessional. However, remember that they used 3D models for the movie, meaning they didn't need to draw a base because they already had one, therefore the circles and lines were added on purpose to make it seem more like a drawn comic book
@@Sunny_Jace Read the whole Variety article for yourself. It shows how irresponsible and disrespectful Phil Lord (Chris Miller was weirdly absent foremost of production) treated the animators in the process of animation.
I think an interesting plot point that may be explored in the third movie is: what exactly is the canon event for our Miles? In the first film, Miles already experienced the death of his uncle. Maybe that is the "new" canon event which eventuated after Miles was bitten by the spider from another universe, which corrected the initial irregularity, so Miles' universe is safe even if he saves his father.
Another video shows the scene where Miguel asks Miles why he's Spider-Man and he says "justice," which Miguel thinks is wrong. Maybe it's supposed to be guilt or responsibility? Miles didn't let some crook go saying "It's not my job" to stop him, and then that guy breaks in and kills Uncle Aaron. It was Kingpin who did it because he wouldn't follow orders (or he missed Miles and hit the Prowler?). Finding out there's no Spider-Man in Earth-42 makes Miles feel responsible even though it wasn't his fault. Miguel telling him that Spider-Man-1610 died to save him reminds him of the guilt or responsibility he has to his world with that Peter gone. I don't know what it does by telling him he was a mistake; he was never supposed to be bitten and that Peter was supposed to live. Guilt trip?
I don't think Margo was on Miles side up until she got to the point of being able to reboot the system. She even used thermal vis once miles was in the go home machine and once she saw it was him, she got more worried.
He found great hidden details but he is also bending the movie to add false "hidden details". As an exemple : Miles never used spider-rex as a surface for his webs to stick, LCDjust didn't show the next frame where you can clearly see that the webs are sticking on the "bridges" in the building.
Spectacular job, Canadian Lad. You've successfully worked very hard to watch closely at every detail in Across the Spider-Verse. You just made fans happy and satisfied.👏🏻
I just realized that the theme of Miles from the first movie backwards is the prowlers theme indicating that he was supposed to be the prowler. Goes to show how much effort these animaters put into this movie
Miles' uncle was already the prowler before Miles was ever bit. The colours are still significant to show Miles destiny was altered by aligning with Spiderman colours instead of Prowler, but it doesnt mean Miles was destined to be a bad guy. Miles at his heart is a good person, the same way Arron was and the same way Earth 42 Miles and Arron probably are. I guarantee the 2 big twists of the 3rd movie are: 1. Both Miles end up working together to stop Earth 42 Sinister 6, Prowler Miles then returns the favour by helping to fight off the Spider Society so he can save his father. I feel the cliffhanger is meant to mislead the audiance. There is a lot of clues that point to his version of the Prowler being a vigalante in esentially an Arkam City version of New York. Miles is a good person whether he was bit by a spider or not because of his parents. 2. Miguel is obviously lying about cannon events. He is a reflection of the real world fanboys claiming Miles was never a real Spiderman because he wasnt x, y, z. Which is ironic because Miguel wasn't bit by a spider, he can't stick to walls.. he claws into them.. etc. Every terrible thing Miguel says to Miles is a negative guilty thought he's had about himself. He's also a reflection of his parents, who in the movie have to learn to let Miles go and carve his own future.
To add to your first point and something the videos missed is the term "rest in power." Spider-Miles writes this about his uncle, who's death he caused (or is at least guilty over). Prowler-Miles does this for his dad. Considering Spider-Miles feels he caused the death of his uncle, I wonder if Prowler-Miles caused his dad's death, or is at least guilty he couldn't save him. I don't think Prowler-Miles is actually good at this point as he is too cold/hurt by his dad's death to do good. At most, he is, more of a loan neutral and sees himself as a sort of Robin Hood type. Spider-miles will convert him into a good guy and I think Prowler-Miles will actually be the one to defeat spot. Prowler-Miles will then return home to defeat the Sinister 6 with his new confidence and take the place as 42's Spiderman.
Goddamn I just posted this then read your comment lol, yeah i agree with you 100%: "Completely disagree with number 31: The colours on Miles during the spider sense scene means our Miles is SUPPOSED to be the prowler. Just based on the timeline it doesn't work. Miles couldn't be the prowler because Uncle Aaron already IS during the time Peter was alive. I'm not saying he couldn't become say, the prowlers ally eventually, but this would require a good few tragedies to occur before our Miles comes CLOSE to becoming evil. Firstly the obvious one, Spiderman would need to die or kill Uncle Aaron. Second Miles dad would need to die. But neither of those "would have happened" if Spiderman doesn't die. (Because if Miles wasn't bit then Spiderman wouldn't die, supposedly). Not even our Uncle Aaron wanted Miles to be evil. He didn't want Miles anywhere near bad guy stuff. That's why Miles pleads at the end to the alternate dimension Aaron that he knows he really wants to be a good guy. So if Uncle Aaron lived, I don't think he would let Miles into the evil part of his life. So if the spider never bites Miles the events would be: Spiderman continues living and the Prowler is still Uncle Aaron, nothing would have changed in those aspects. The colours do match up and that's a good spot but I hard disagree with your conclusion from it." I don't think Miguel is lying but he's clearly wrong about the cannon events, not sure what happened to the dimension he went to but yeah.
the movies try to make it pretty clear that miguel is not spiderman, idk why yet, maybe we'll see in the next movie Not bitten by spider Doesn't stick to walls His web isn't organic a few Peter B. quotes: (to miguel) "you're the only spiderman who isn't funny, we're supposed to be funny" (to Miles in the first movie) "spiderman doesnt wear a cape" Miles saying: "are you sure you're even spiderman" to miguel Gwen not recognizing Miguel as a spiderman in the guggenheim museum and a few other things
@@ddloehr Whoa. I like that thought that Prowler-Miles will be the one to defeat Spot, and when I read the part about Prowler-Miles becoming Earth 42's Spider-Man, it gave me chills. Seriously can't wait for the end of this trilogy! Such an absolute masterpiece of animation style, story, character development and dope music.
I always love the smug kitty face of spider cat… lol He attacks Miles like a psycho and once he’s caught he looks at miles like “Oh.. hi.. hehe I thought I saw a laser.. my bad.” Hahaha I couldn’t even imagine the smartass attitude of a cat with the personality and sass of Peter Parker/Spidey… the sarcasm and aloofness would be record breaking!
Something I noticed about when Miles goes to Earth-42, you can tell he doesn't fit due to his animation vs the universes. It's because the Earth-42 world is provided with a lot of scratch shading or cross-stitch, with more heavy strokes to the art style which you can see on the buildings and even sometimes on the characters when shaded. However, Miles is entirely comprised of the ben-day dots that are on comic books and has a fuller art style that fills in most of his character all the time. This makes him stick out, as he doesn't look like the rest of the world. He is also shown to be brighter than most of the world, as Earth-42 utilizes darker tones and cooler colors as opposed to Miles' universe which has a lot of brighter tones and warmer colors even at night. This is most visible when it switches from Miles' perspective to Gwen's. The attention to detail in this movie is fucking incredible, and I hope they take all the time they need for BTSV in order to create the most Amazing Spider-Man Trilogy (Sorry Tobey and Tom).
I want to know more about how they see each other and their respective universes. Like does Miles have trouble seeing too many colors on a live-action figure and think it's a kind of glitching? Was he staring at The Prowler because of that? How would he try to draw a person like that on his sketchpad? I imagine his computer can't show more than a limited number of colors at a time, just like his universe. I was surprised to hear/read that languages added the names of colors in a particular order with blue being last. Supposedly, that means people didn't see blue as a color different from green. Someone said a rainbow doesn't have just six (or seven) colors, but that's our perception of light that we interpret as purple, blue, (cyan?), green, yellow, orange and red.
my issue with the 14:40 "uncle aaron was never meant to become the prowler" is how when miles is at the collider with peter, aaron was already prowler by this point, an accomplice of kingpin
Yeah he messed up there, the change here was that instead of becoming the next Prowler, he instead became the next Spider-Man after his destiny was altered by the spider bite.
@@Ironica82 How would it be a canon event if Miles wasn't going to become Spiderman? Only Spiderman and those closely related to them are effected by canon events. So Uncle Aaron dying for that dimension's Peter Parker makes no sense.
I don't agree that earth 1610 Aaron was never supposed to be the prowler, as he already was the prowler long before Miles got bit. The only reason he knew about the wall he brought miles to is because I found it while working for kingpin, it's right under the collider. He is also in that same scene with Miles and Peter meeting and was fighting with Spiderman. We don't know if he would have died If Miles didn't get bit but he was definitely already the prowler. Also as a counterpoint to the whole Miels' fate changed point. It very possible that the Green and Purple spider sense lines were meant to indicate that Miles' presence resembled his uncles, the Prowler, hence why Peter seems confused at first. It's hard to know what the artists intentions were back then. It's also possible that Peter could have figured out the Prowler's identity if he had the time to get to know Miles more given this clue, but he didn't get the chance.
Just a tiny addition, this was like a core memory that unlocked when I saw this scene. The scene in 7:56 is a callback to a very old spiderman game (it was on PC at that time). I don’t remember the exact spiderman game but in the game those figures that pop are from a level where you practice, or do trails where you have to beat the figures quickly (I think it was to practice webshooting). It’s very blurry in my mind but I know for sure it’s a reference to the game.
I actually really liked those details of Miles using the other Spider people from the Spider Society goes to show how fluid Miles is in terms of his powers, he is able to focus on his goal and maneuver to getting to it. That's my favorite moments of Spider-Man, it's like watching Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man catching Gwen Stacey in the second movie which is just an amazing sequence. I want so many more moments like that, show off the dexterity and agility in how unique Spider-Man needs to process information, it's awesome to see Spider-Man flex his genius intellect.
You are the only one who provide justified appreciation to animators, writers and actors. It may be a small thing to general audience but for the artists it means a lot that their work is value and appreciated. Your channel success and growth is literally a byproduct of respect you give.
14:20 I think he was supposed to take up the mantle of Prowler and learn from his uncle, not that he was supposed to replace him. He really looked up to Aaron, and also, he seems to have already been prowler for a while considering he's known enough to get under the employ of Kingpin.
Miles G. Morales isn't evil Miles, it has been confirmed that he is more of a vigilante in that universe, which shows that Miles writes his own destiny no matter what
One thing I'll like to say is that Uncle Aaron was meant to be Prowler. Because he was already working for Fisk, knew about the underground place where they can spary paint because he's Prowler, and 1610-Peter already has history with Aaron. I think the bottom line is Miles would follow Aaron's footsteps and take on the mantle in 1610, but instead that's what happened in 42. I would also like to bring up a deleted scene, but i won't. 1610-Aaron was always Prowler, but i don't think he would have died if Miles wasn't bit.
I actually did notice that miles was going to the wrong dimension on my first viewing and was telling me friends next to me and blew his mind. Proud of myself
The colours are how I could tell. My friends went to Burger King. They got a toy. It was of earth 42. I was telling them that it is a colour scheme we haven’t seen in marketing. And they thought I was crazy.
Another detail I love is when Gwen gets back home and starts arguing with her dad about everything that's been happening, the background starts dripping like a painting being diluted in water, like she's crying. The background has all sorts of dark tones. When capt. Stacy says he's resigned from his position as a cop, all of a sudden the background starts shifting towards a lighter color, until everything is white and nothing else is washed out.
Another thing about that, watercolor pigments lighten based on how much water you add. The dripping water (symbolizing Gwen's emotions) became mixed with the background, making the colors lighter. The effects of Gwen's emotions and the complex relationship with her father aren't gone, but are now harmonized.
Hey.I just found a sneaky little detail from this video,if you turn on subtitles for the video,at exactly 16:11 a text will pop up which says 'coming up next GOTG vol 3 at 0.25x speed or maybe loki S2 trailer!'when he never even said that.Hmm...marvel really needs to hire this guy
He forgot to bring up the fact that Miles really did have a plan from the beginning which is why he was behind that Spider-Man being visible so that they could chase him out of Miguel’s “clubhouse” allowing him to get through it way easier since it was empty
4 quick details to Miles in his room in Earth-42 that were giveaways to me, a second time around: - Rio asking why he changed his hair. - Blueprints for the Prowler gauntlet pasted beside his desk (beside the room not having any toys). - Rio's eyes are green and not brown. - Rio asks him if it was for Comic-Con; which Miles established in the first movie doesn't exist in his universe.
For detail 31, its true that Miles's spider sense at first was green and purple but it transitioned into the classic red and blue, maybe that suggests how despite the fact that the spider that bit him wasn't from his universe, the powers it gave him were now Miles's.
I'm not even mad at the fact that I was patiently and excruciatingly waiting for this video because it was worth it.. Canadian Lad you are a legend. 7 times in the cinema bro!! CRAZY!
This video for me just further proves Miles wasn’t just running away and escaped by dumb luck. He was actually smart about what he did and he successfully escaped the spider society. I’ll be using this video as a reference just in case someone says Miles had plot armor.
Here’s an interesting detail about the huge billboard at 7:31; there’s an old book I read called Fahrenheit 451 which takes place in the future where one character mentions the billboard to the main character, Guy, saying that the reason why billboards are so big is that the cars are so fast they can barely see a field of grass, hence why the billboards are huge.
Appreciate your work man, literally amazing, I noticed a detail that I think you might have missed. In Earth-42 Miles's room there is a blueprint of the Prowler's claws/glove on the right hand side, love your videos, excited for the Loki 2 trailer❤
5:16 because monkeys don't really have "feets" they have 4 "hands". They can use all their limbs as hands as they live on trees and are able to hold on any branches easily. So makes sense that spider-monkey should be able to shoot webs from all four "hands" Also their sense of balance is much better naturally which is why he still managed to cling to Miles even after breaking into the therapy room. All that shows Miles is even better at holding his own and also he is a very quick thinker, adapting to the situation really fast (also when he first fought spot, he used the portals creatively) ❤
My favorite detail that I don’t think that anyone’s noticed is that earth 1610 miles (our miles) has a banner in it that almost looks like Deadpool with a red sash of some kind covering the middle of the logo. It could also just be a mask prototype or spider symbol for mile but it looks like Deadpool to me (maybe for Deadpool 3). The cooler part is earth 42 Miles doesn’t have this banner. Instead he had a speed bag (for boxing). He has it because he got closer to his uncle Aaron after Jeff died and uncle Aaron had a full heavy bag in his own apartment in the first film. Miles in earth 42 also has a blueprint for a prowler gauntlet in his room. It would be awesome if you mentioned it in the .25x speed video. Love your work man, keep it up.
9:50 I think they show his old suit at that moment to show that even though Miles is an anomaly he grew into becoming Spiderman just like Stan Lee said
Fun fact at 13:20 that purple hoodie miles wears with that green jacket is exactly similar to what Norman Osborn was wearing in Spider-Man no way home which was another detail which could’ve meant prowler is basically miles morales’ green goblin or it could maybe be a hint that if Donald glovers prowler was in atsv maybe willem dafoes Osborn secretly entered aswell
A nice video and a lot of interesting details. One point about the shadow in number 3, the animators likely didn't have to do anything for the shadow to be shown, they placed the various objects into the scene, the light sources and the camera, the shadows were then likely generated by the animation software automatically. It's a great detail nonetheless, but it's one where it probably would have been more effort for the shadow to not be visible.
That detail about why mile's spider sense changes from green and purple to red and blue in the first movie actually solves so many internet debates on why Aaron's death doesn't count as his canon event AND why he doesn't glitch in his home universe when bit by the foreign spider.
3:37 I just realized, Miles could have gone invisible during this whole sequence, but theres three reasons why he didn’t. 1, spider sense. The other spider people could have used their spider sense to find where he was. 2 he wanted to find out more from Miguel, to see if there was anything Miguel wasn’t telling him, and three, to lure them all away to hopefully have no trouble turning on the portal.

To add onto that last detail, Miguel's actions also parallel Kingpin's actions in the first movie. Kingpin tried bringing his deceased family to his universe while Miguel initially tried bringing himself to one where his wife and daughter were alive. In both cases the story does not end well.
yes! I definitely see it parallel miguel more than gwen
(Edit: well, maybe also when he met MJ)
Although we don’t know what Miguel did, all we know is that he intentionally placed himself in another universe.
Yet they make Kingpin and Spiderman 2099 seem so evil... wouldn't you do the same thing?
I think that's part of the fear we can see in Miguel's eyes, when he understands that
(Also I'm definitely going to brag about the fact I did notice the machine scanned Earth-42 instead of Earth 1610 on the first watch, and it was very interesting to observe the different stages at which people in the room realized it until the big reveal)
For detail no.21, (9:35), if you actually look at the glitch, it's not only him in the store costume, you can also see the Prowler in the glitch (right after) as well! Very subtle detail but it goes to show the care and effort the animators put into this movie!
I remember seeing the prowler flash. I thought it was a nod to his uncle, but then the ending happened and I was like, "OH!"
@@sonowbrand7824 You after the realization hit: 🤯
i don't see where i just see purple colors :c
10:28 Also friendly reminder that Miguel was panicking in that situation because some people in the character design department reveled that Miguel wears nothing under his suit, in fact in the comics he goes on commando mode, that’s why he is trying to detach from Miles, and Miles just grabs him more tightly so he can’t escape, then true fear covers Miguel’s face, because that’s the face of a man who knows he is about to flash a whole society 😂
(When he gets launched to the air some people think that he was fully naked but if you look closely his suit just went fully blank, it rebooted itself in a way)
haha i didnt notice that
It was probably less embarassment at being nude in front of everyone and more that losing his suit will put him in serious danger.
Miguel really didn't think that through
Not just the society, but also the children. Mayday was there so that wouldn't have been good.
Bro almost had to change his name to The Flash
Also I've heard the theory that "Uncle Aron wasn't supposed to be the Prowler" a bunch of times but I'm almost certain that the Prowler was already an established villain at this point. I think its possible he would've passed on the mantle to Miles but the notion that he wouldn't have been the Prowler at all doesn't seem right to me
I agree. I believe Aaron was supposed to train Miles to become the next Prowler before retiring from the role to be his mission support in a Batman Beyond-esque situation.
Agreed
Exactly. Uncle Aaron only knew the spot he suggested to Miles for his graffiti because he was already working with Kingpin and the collider was nearby. He was already the Prowler, regardless of what happened throughout the movie.
I was thinking the same
In the first movie Jeff also isn't surprised by Aaron to be in the prowler suit after finding him dead so he likely already knew him to be the prowler similar to the dynamic between Jeff and Aaron in the Spiderman Games.
Check out the Miles Morales game it explains his absorbing/releasing power really well
Miles invisibility remains undetected by any wave detector but he then makes only his pupil visible for the scanning, means he has all the control over his power
If it's a retinal scan, I'm not sure why that would show his destination as Earth-42, as that's for identity verification with a database. A DNA or blood scan would be more likely to get that result. Unless they did the latter earlier and put it in the database incorrectly and didn't catch it until then.
@@sandal_thong8631 i think the writer simply pull the "so the story could happen" trigger on that one
it's actually just camouflage, but it's often represented as invisibility just for ease of animation, I'd assume.
@summertyme5748 not sure why you brought up no way home but ok lol. Also pretty sure they were smart characters in that movie
@@tobsonasanya4765
"so pretty sure they were smart characters in that movie"
No there were no smart characters in No Way Home.
So the reason I mentioned how *stupid* the film No Way Home is - is because it is *stupid.*
It's easily the most overrated Marvel Film of all time - and this along with Eternals, Antman 3, MOM and Thor 4 is a part of the downfall of the MCU - whose films now border on being emotionally arrested and mentally rxtarded.
Stupidity:
I just captured the Lizard, and Octavius and put them in my Wizards dungeon without even leaving this room.
So now - I will assign Peter Parker and his teen age friends to walk around and look for *dozens, hundreds, billions?* of possibly evil super powered villains - and then they will use my magical devices to bring them here to me - what could possibly go wrong??? -
Dr Strange (under the influence of his No Way Home lobotomy, and the *laziest writing...ever* ).
13:39 There's also a sketch of the Prowler gauntlets in Miles-42's room.
Not shown in the video but also in the same scene we can see the posters in Miles's room are slightly different (I think one with the word "sashimi" is replaced with "oashimi")
Another detail I really liked is how Aaron-42 is only a little suspicious of Miles until he receives a text on his phone on the balcony.
Correct
I dont believe 1610 Miles was ever supposed to be the prowler but instead just a normal kid. When uncle Aaron dies he tells Miles that he let him down by being the prowler, and that he wanted Miles to look up to him.
@@zervve those words came out his Ancle that way because he was dying otherwise it would have been like the other dimensions miles morales
Yes!! My son and I noticed that right away. Also, her hair looked black to me but on Earth-1610 her hair is definitely brown.
12:00
Fun fact: I actually DID notice this detail in my first viewing. I had noted that the machine reads the spider’s DNA, so when the screen showed Earth-42, I immediately knew that Miles was headed to the wrong place. It was a super cool detail that I’m really proud of noticing!
Good for you!!
Me too I also noticed
I also did notice it but didnt remember that miles's earth was 1020(something like that) so i thought it was normal.

@bw4348 The conversation he had with his earth-42 mom had me like, "Miles stfu Stop talking right now that aint ur mom" 😭
During the chase sequence, Miles has the hardest time against animal spider-men. Also the reason Gwen and Peter manage to sling him is because he doesn't perceive them as a threat. This because Gwen was trying to lessen the momentum from Jess' kick and Peter wanted to talk.
Also it took me a while to figure this out, but just before Rio 42 enters the room she says "Wiles?", which is apparently Miles 42's nick name.
A detail you may not know is that Prowler Miles isn’t actually evil (or MAY not be, idk):
From what I know a test animation has been leaked from a scrapped scene where Prowler Miles and his Uncle Aaron go on a heist for medical supplies, only to bring them back to his mother at the hospital (who is seen treating a patient).
This also implies that Miguel's presence impacts his surroundings more than the other variants can.
you can actually notice this in the 1st movie too: everyone has slightly adapted to the style in Miles' world (spidernoir for example isn't in full B&W like in his own intro and verse, but is slightly shaded).
Except for the anarchist, Hobie.

Miguel: “Miles, stop draining the power to my suit!!!” “ Please stop, I’m naked under the suit!!!”
This detail you pointed out at 9:40 was a detail that really managed to catch my eye during my first watch and while your theory as to why that glitching happened makes a lot of sense I thought I could also pitch another theory I came up with
In the majority of ITSV, the suit that Miles wore is the spiderman costume he bought from Stan Lee really early on, and he wears it for the majority of the movie until he makes his own suit and the whole leap of faith scene happens. However, this self doubt starts to fade once he makes an identity for himself, ditches the old costume, makes a new proper suit for himself and he finds that confidence to take that leap of faith
After the events of ITSV, Miles is much more confident in his ability to be spiderman (and it shows with all of the details mentioned throughout the video). But when Miguel starts to yell at Miles saying that he is the original anomoly and he is a mistake and is never supposed to be spiderman, the things Miguel said is like peeling back old scabs Miles has healed from in ITSV. Miguel (whether he realizes it or not) is tapping into one of, if not Miles' deepest insecutiries that took him a long time to heal from, and the glitching where he is shown wearing the old spiderman costume is a representation of that old insecurity resurfacing after years
Long story short, the stan lee costume in both ITSV and ATSV is a representation of Miles' feelings of insecutiry and low self-confidence, so when it shows in the glighting in ATSV, you can see how much Miguel's words are hurting Miles
Your theory is much more positive than mine but I still think it is a valid and very interesting take on this little detail, I just thought sharing my own thoughts would be a fun idea to explore
Although your theory has a darker tone to it but I think I like it more! Thank you so much for sharing it with me :)
That's a really good theory, and it makes a lot of sense, too!
@@TheCanadianLad I think in the first movie , Miles customises the suit he aready bought by spray painting it
@@gameboydev7760 No he customises his late spiderman's suit.
13:40 I love the fact that I realised he's in the wrong universe because of Rio's eye color being green instead of brown + the hoodie too
I think during the scan if Miles was able to do it normally, without being invisible he would've been sent to his original dimension, but since he was actively using his powers that's why the spider's DNA was able to override his own
was actually thinking the same!
I actually noticed 12:03 in theaters. Felt pretty nice predicting it
ME TOOOOO!! I saw it and told my friends, but they didn't noticee!
I noticed, but I assumed it was his home universe
Me too. Kinda predicted the movie for both me and my friends.

It’s most prominent in his original white design
Figured I’d point it out :^)
One really good detail is that Spider-Punk respects that Miles is "basically an adult", so he calls him "Little man" when Miles gets trapped in the holographic cage.
Her dad also has a Visions Tshirt so that basically confirms it too.
For sure?but how could she have gone there if the Gwen of the land of Miles already goes there
@@L0ki8329 Every slider man has a gwen (or gwen equivalent) that died. Earth 1610's Gwen died to carnage, which is why 63 Gwen says her name's Gwanda at first

Yeah his breakthrough puts a lot of perspective to it. That's one of the things I missed in ITSV, him being his own Spiderman and now we start to see hints of it. Let's see what he can do in Beyond.

All I can say is this was one of the greatest movies so far of this year. So perfectly done.
14:17 I liked the fact that the purple and green spider sense had multiple meaning. It indicated both the green goblin and also miles originally supposed to being prowler. Just awesome level of detail.
No offense but I doubt it means green goblin at all, it just doesn’t make a whole lot sense to me
@@葉傑夫 as far as I remember, Canadian lad himself said in his into the spider-verse detail video that since miles' spider sense was slow at that time, his was still reacting to the green goblin.
Doesn’t Spot have circles and lines like that?
Also, the whole art style used for this, and the previous movie, are horrible.

@@liamphibia OH COME ON
Alright can you explain to me what this controversy is?
@@Sunny_Jace
Read the whole Variety article for yourself.
Makes sense tbh
I guarantee the 2 big twists of the 3rd movie are:
Goddamn I just posted this then read your comment lol, yeah i agree with you 100%:
"Completely disagree with number 31: The colours on Miles during the spider sense scene means our Miles is SUPPOSED to be the prowler.
The colours do match up and that's a good spot but I hard disagree with your conclusion from it."
I don't think Miguel is lying but he's clearly wrong about the cannon events, not sure what happened to the dimension he went to but yeah.
the movies try to make it pretty clear that miguel is not spiderman, idk why yet, maybe we'll see in the next movie
Not bitten by spider
Doesn't stick to walls
His web isn't organic
a few Peter B. quotes:
(to miguel) "you're the only spiderman who isn't funny, we're supposed to be funny"
(to Miles in the first movie) "spiderman doesnt wear a cape"
Miles saying: "are you sure you're even spiderman" to miguel
Gwen not recognizing Miguel as a spiderman in the guggenheim museum
and a few other things
@@ddloehr Whoa. I like that thought that Prowler-Miles will be the one to defeat Spot, and when I read the part about Prowler-Miles becoming Earth 42's Spider-Man, it gave me chills. Seriously can't wait for the end of this trilogy! Such an absolute masterpiece of animation style, story, character development and dope music.
aaron is the engineer making prowler's suit in both versions, it's likely he was prowler in earth-42 as well and passed it down to miles.
I always love the smug kitty face of spider cat… lol
He attacks Miles like a psycho and once he’s caught he looks at miles like “Oh.. hi.. hehe I thought I saw a laser.. my bad.” Hahaha
I couldn’t even imagine the smartass attitude of a cat with the personality and sass of Peter Parker/Spidey… the sarcasm and aloofness would be record breaking!
Maybe the cannon event was that Prowler was going to die and Miles would take over.
Amazing work like always Canadian lad, such an Amazing Movie, all the part of the canon events and the Chase is a masterpiece for me
Guys lets acknowledge the animators for this masterpiece it should win an Oscar for best picture
Can't forget the detail that by getting past all of the spider-man and by maintaining the ethos, Miles is the ...
Ultimate Spider-Man
Bro he breaks down the details so well even the animators watch his channel respect where respect Is due 🙏
The work this guy does is insane. The deviation is amazing and the results are incredible. Honestly, this has to be the best breakdown yet.
Didnt think I could love this movie any more than I do already. Thank you for proving me wrong Canadian Lad!
10:58 that's true, but also he's naked under that suit so it was also a look of panic because there were a whole bunch of spider people below him
😭
how do we know he's naked under the suit, again?
because it's said multiple times that he wears nothing under the suit in the comics
10:32 I’ve always thought that he’s taking the electricity from his suit to help him and weaken Miguel
Same
14:20 I think he was supposed to take up the mantle of Prowler and learn from his uncle, not that he was supposed to replace him.
I have this feeling that animators and movie professionals pay attention to details because they know Canadian lad is watching and searching for them
Another detail I love is when Gwen gets back home and starts arguing with her dad about everything that's been happening, the background starts dripping like a painting being diluted in water, like she's crying.
11:47 i noticed this in the first time, and my surprise was ruined, i kinda feel sad about it now
10:41 If Miguel learns from his mistake then maybe in the next installment he may solve this problem(anyone absorbing his electric powers)
4 quick details to Miles in his room in Earth-42 that were giveaways to me, a second time around:
- Rio asking why he changed his hair.
CRAZY!
We noticed that "Loki Season 2 Trailer coming up next" written on 15:56 nice hidden detail Lad
I'm speechless. How does he do this every time? You're amazing, TCL.
This video for me just further proves Miles wasn’t just running away and escaped by dumb luck. He was actually smart about what he did and he successfully escaped the spider society. I’ll be using this video as a reference just in case someone says Miles had plot armor.
Just watched Across The Spider Verse and I am now binging your 3 part series, I love this film so much! Mad respect for you mate!
5:33 spider monkey built different
Here’s an interesting detail about the huge billboard at 7:31; there’s an old book I read called Fahrenheit 451 which takes place in the future where one character mentions the billboard to the main character, Guy, saying that the reason why billboards are so big is that the cars are so fast they can barely see a field of grass, hence why the billboards are huge.
Awesome book. One of my favorites. Thus, always like it when others bring it up :).
Appreciate your work man, literally amazing, I noticed a detail that I think you might have missed. In Earth-42 Miles's room there is a blueprint of the Prowler's claws/glove on the right hand side, love your videos, excited for the Loki 2 trailer❤
And you went twice to the theatres because you weren't happy with 26 details, excellent work❤
5:16 because monkeys don't really have "feets" they have 4 "hands". They can use all their limbs as hands as they live on trees and are able to hold on any branches easily. So makes sense that spider-monkey should be able to shoot webs from all four "hands"
Also their sense of balance is much better naturally which is why he still managed to cling to Miles even after breaking into the therapy room.
9:50 I think they show his old suit at that moment to show that even though Miles is an anomaly he grew into becoming Spiderman just like Stan Lee said
I thought that it was because regardless of what Miles does, he would always be seen as a pretender to the spider-society
Miles is going to unleash that energy he absorbed on that Prowler miles to escape ✨🔥
10:58 not only that but he absorbed the energy starting from the fingertips...and then used the palms to actually blast em back
16:01 hold up loki season 2 trailer comming next? i love how The canadian Lad sometimes puts easter eggs in his own videos
I’ve seen this movie 5 times and I still missed so much including the rocket push 3:45 . That is so cool!
14:30ish. Uncle Aaron was already the Prowler and was probably going to pass it along to Miles at some point.
FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE REALIZED MILES PURPLE HOODIE! I realized that on my first watch and no one else has pointed it out
Bloody good work as usual lad, keep them coming, thanks for all the effort.
11:20 Wait did you really missed that for a few seconds Miguel was literally naked right after Miles throw him away?
Not sure if anyone noticed but, Hobie is the only Spider Person to wear his waych on hus right wrist as opposed to his left, like everyone else!
